Chapter 1161: Chapter 1159: The Rising Sea

"Wang Dadong, we’ll just accept the boat. Thank you for being so thoughtful. After all, if this island gets flooded, the boat will co in handy." The boss chuckled as he took the food and fresh water from Wang Dadong’s hands.

The boat was stolen by the boss and his group.

"Brother Da Dong, it wasn’t , it really wasn’t

who said it." Murong Xue looked terrified, with tears welling up in her big eyes.

"But besides you, no one else knew about the boat." Xiao Qing spoke sternly.

"Let it go." Wang Dadong sighed.

"Brother Da Dong, please believe , it really wasn’t ." Murong Xue pleaded as she started to cry.

Wang Dadong nodded, "I believe you."

The others seed unaware of what was happening, looking at Wang Dadong with puzzled expressions.

"Haha, you probably don’t know yet, but your so-called savior is secretly building a boat." The boss said with a mischievous smile.

"Building a boat? Why build a boat?"

"Why? To prevent the island from being flooded, of course." The boss replied with a laugh.

"What? The island will be flooded by sea water?"

"Why didn’t you tell us?"

At this mont, everyone wore expressions of doubt.

"Because the boat has limited capacity and can’t take everyone on board." The boss continued.

Once again, everyone changed their expressions.

Why would Wang Dadong do this, was he planning to abandon them?

"Hm, what nonsense are you talking about? Brother Da Dong didn’t tell everyone because he was afraid of causing panic, and he didn’t want you all to find out either. This was just a precaution; the island may not necessarily be flooded." Xiao Qing frowned.

Though no one spoke next, there was clearly a sense of discontent and resentnt among them.

They were blaming Wang Dadong for keeping them in the dark.

Wang Dadong didn’t bother to explain. Those who trusted him would naturally trust him, and those who didn’t, explanations wouldn’t help. His main concern now was Daphne’s whereabouts.

He had almost searched the entire island secretly but couldn’t find where Daphne was being held. Could it be that Daphne had t with misfortune?

If that’s truly the case, not a single one of the boss’s group would leave the island alive!

That night, under the twinkling stars, Wang Dadong found it hard to sleep.

The boat was stolen by the boss’s n, and Daphne’s location was unknown. His mood was indeed sowhat restless.

There are two things that can relieve a man’s lancholy: cigarettes and won.

But at this mont, Wang Dadong’s cigarettes were long gone, washed away by the sea. As for won, he had plenty around him now, but...

Just when Wang Dadong felt he was on the brink of suffocation, a pair of hands suddenly wrapped around his waist from behind.

These were small snow-white hands, very delicate, tightly clutching him.

Wang Dadong recognized the owner of these hands.

The owner of these hands was... Murong Xue.

"Brother Da Dong, I’m sorry. It was

who told them about the boat..." Murong Xue rested her head on Wang Dadong’s back, sobbing.

Wang Dadong didn’t speak, as he naturally knew it was Murong Xue who leaked the secret.

Because even if the others discovered his boat, they wouldn’t know that the oddly-shaped Pyramid was actually a boat.

The reason Wang Dadong didn’t expose her was simple: the boat had already been stolen, and blaming Murong Xue wouldn’t change anything.

"They wanted to bully , I was forced to tell them the secret..." Murong Xue sobbed softly.

Wang Dadong could feel his back becoming gradually moist.

"Alright, Xiao Xue, don’t worry about it. The boat is gone, so be it. The island may not necessarily be flooded." Wang Dadong sighed.

It’s understandable for a woman to do sothing excessive for self-preservation, isn’t it?

Suddenly, Wang Dadong felt Murong Xue’s small hands, originally clutching his waist, begin to move downwards, passing his abdon, soon reaching...

Just as Murong Xue’s hand was about to reach a place it shouldn’t, Wang Dadong grabbed her small hand, frowned and said, "Xiao Xue, what are you doing?"

"Brother Da Dong, Xiao Xue just wants to compensate you, to make you happy..." Murong Xue spoke softly.

Murong Xue’s other hand gently stroked Wang Dadong’s chest.

This made Wang Dadong feel sowhat feverish.

Without cigarettes, he did indeed need a woman.

To soothe his restless heart, he needed a woman.

However, in the end, Wang Dadong controlled himself, gently shook his head and said, "There’s no need for that."

"Brother Da Dong, please fulfill Xiao Xue’s wish, okay? Xiao Xue doesn’t want to live in self-bla all her life, nor does she want to die with regrets..."

Without the boat, if the island gets flooded, most people would die, and all of this was caused by Murong Xue.

Seeing Wang Dadong remain silent, Murong Xue moved in front of him and took off her tattered T-shirt...

Under the sparkling stars, with the gentle sea breeze, such a night was indeed srizing...

...

The changes in the sea have always been rapid; the water rises quickly.

On the second night after the boat was stolen, the sea level began to rise quickly, fulfilling Wang Dadong’s prediction.

"The island is really going to be flooded!" Watching the ink-black sea rolling ceaselessly, everyone wore expressions of deep despair.

"Where’s Daphne?" This ti, Wang Dadong could no longer control his emotions. He grabbed the boss by the collar and lifted him.

"She’s in a cave by the western cliff!"

The cave by the cliff was fairly close to sea level; now that the sea water was rising, it ant the cave would be flooded!

Without a mont’s hesitation, Wang Dadong dashed towards the place the boss ntioned.

With the sea rising ever faster, Tu Gang and a few others tried to board the Pyramid Ship.

"Damn it, did I let you on?" The strong man following the boss kicked Tu Gang to the ground.

Tu Gang’s face turned extrely pale as he shouted angrily at the boss, "You, you said you’d take us with you!"

"Haha, did I say that? Maybe I did, but can’t I change my mind?" The boss said with an evil grin.

"Then why can they board?" Tu Gang gritted his teeth.

The boss glanced at the won aboard the Pyramid Ship, his lips curving into a smirk, "Them? They’re good for a snack when bored, and when hungry... what about you?"

Upon hearing the boss’s words, the won on the ship all trembled slightly, though they had already guessed what it would an to follow the boss’s group. Still, they chose to stay on the ship because the island was about to be flooded.

If they didn’t board, they would drown.

"Ladies, if you don’t board now, you’ll never get another chance." The boss’s gaze fell on the won still refusing to board the ship.
