The focus of everyone’s attention wasn’t on anything else but on the weapon held by the Japanese samurai in Divinity Realm.

It was a unique katana from Japan, surrounded by swirling mists that appeared both visible and invisible. The blade stretched about eighty centiters, its edge resembling the leaf blades of an iris, thicker at the center. The handle was eight inches thick, with a series of rings making it uneven, resembling the spinal bone of a fish, uniformly white from top to bottom.

It was this sowhat peculiar katana that had just instantaneously severed eight of the nine dragon heads transford from the Northern Zhou Dragon Vein. If it could sever all at once, then this move could be called the Nine-Headed Dragon Flash.

"This blade, the most evil," Qing Yu declared.

Even from such a great distance, Qing Yu could feel its intensely evil and malevolent aura, like a prehistoric fierce beast devouring all life between heaven and earth.

The swirling mist around this katana made it seem full of mystical aura, yet its true nature was that of an evil weapon filled with malicious energy, craving the devouring of life.

"Sir, are you from Japan?" Xin Wen asked, staring at this suddenly intervening Japanese samurai, his eyes full of wariness.

The fear in Xin Wen’s eyes wasn’t due to a native from the faraway Extre East Island Country nor was it from other similarly strong figures of the great sects within Divinity Realm; it was, even more so, not because the samurai was a Japanese foreigner to the Central Plains.

What he truly dreaded was the sinisterly crafted katana resembling a bone white structure in the hands of the Japanese samurai, this evil weapon possessed a threatening power.

"Japan, Liusheng New Yin Style, Yagyu Munenori," the Japanese samurai replied in awkwardly pronounced Central Plains language.

Seemingly aware of the continuous gaze from the crowd, Yagyu Munenori’s stern face twisted into a faint, proud smile. He raised his hand to lay the katana horizontally in front of him, lightly swept his sleeve, and said, "The sword’s na is ’Heavenly Cluster Cloud,’ made from the tail of the Orochi slain by Suzan Ming Venerate after it devoured the Kyoto Dragon Vein. It is one of our nation’s highest and most sacred Three Sacred Treasures.

Because the Orochi had devoured the Kyoto Dragon Vein, this sword has a significant inhibiting effect on the Dragon Vein. Along with the technique used by Suzan Ming Venerate to slay the Orochi, transford into the Kyoto Dragon Vein – Slaying Eightfold, I have already severed a large section of the Northern Zhou Dragon Vein."

Sword? Well······ that shouldn’t be incorrect. After all, in Japan, there’s no term for ’dao’ (sword).

Although, what doesn’t actually exist is a sword, rather than a dao. This can be seen as the weapon is called ’katana,’ not ’taijian’ (great sword).

"Cough, cough······" Qing Yu coughed lightly, stopping the suddenly unconstrained flow of thoughts.

The involvent of the Japanese wasn’t unexpected for Qing Yu. As discerned from the minds of the two Hattori ninja long ago, five hundred years before, the Esoteric Sect had already entered Japan, becoming the largest local sect.

Esoteric monks spread across all of Japan, even the native Shintoism had been entirely assimilated by the Esoteric Sect. The Esoteric Sect had long integrated with Japan. Those Esoteric monks who entered the Central Plains, like Kong Hai and others, most were Japanese, including those five strong figures from the Esoteric Realm who fought before the Divine Capital Imperial City, most were locally born Japanese.

Japan had already changed dramatically from centuries ago; after the Esoteric Sect introduced Martial Arts, strong figures in Divinity Realm were no longer just a myth.

Xin Wen and other Central Plains warriors, if they still viewed Japan with the old perspective, would likely suffer greatly.

However, Xin Wen and the others didn’t underestimate the suddenly appearing Japanese samurai with the evil weapon ’Heavenly Cluster Cloud Sword’ that was still emitting a malevolent aura. To be complacent now would be akin to seeking death.

Nevertheless, Xin Wen seed to still harbor a sliver of hope, cautioning aloud, "This conflict is between our Zen Sect and the Esoteric Sect. It would be best for you not to step into these muddy waters."

"Hehe, the ’Heart Zen Immortal Skill’ of Great Zen Temple," he had long heard about it, "I wonder if the Heart Zen Undying Body can withstand the sharpness of our Japanese Divine Artifact."

Unyielding words represented an irreversible resolution. Yagyu Munenori held the ’Heavenly Cluster Cloud Sword’ with both hands, readying his stance.

The mist around the ’Heavenly Cluster Cloud Sword’ grew denser and their movents more rapid, as if so creature was breathing.

"Killing intent."

Xin Wen finally understood that what seed like purely decorative mist was actually an extrely dense murderous aura. This aura ford into mist, concealing the killing intent within, seemingly just ordinary mist until Yagyu Munenori took his stance and revealed its true nature.

"Since the master is stubborn and chooses to side with these Esoteric Sect defectors, I naturally will not hesitate to ask for guidance. The master’s weapon is extrely fierce and evil, possibly with the intent to bite back at its owner. It is perfect for to take it to our Great Zen Temple, recite sutras day and night to dissolve its malicious aura, and thus perform a ritorious deed," Xin Wen solemnly said.

"Shaless monk,"

Everyone watching secretly cursed in their hearts.

This monk spoke with high-sounding words, but he was actually trying to steal the sword. Although as an enemy, to steal was expected, but to do so with such a pretext, to justify his action, perhaps only these monks could do such a thing.

Thinking thus, Xin Wen’s earlier seemingly hopeful persuasion also seed like a preparation for later seizing the sword.

After all, once Yagyu Munenori made a move, he had slain the Dragon Vein of the Northern Zhou Imperial Family’s allies, causing the current unknown fate of Emperor of Northern Zhou, Feng Tianming, and disabling the effectiveness of the Nine Dragon Sky Array. It all pointed to those from the Esoteric Sect.

"If you want the ’Heavenly Cluster Cloud Sword,’ then exchange it with your life. Windward One Slash."

Yagyu Munenori held the blade backward with his left hand, his right hand holding the long sword, his left hand hanging by his side, his right hand raising the sword level with his eyebrows, the blade facing outward. The white mist on the ’Heavenly Cluster Cloud Sword’ surged, freezing Xin Wen’s form with its chilling killing intent.

Xin Wen felt as if the tip of the ’Heavenly Cluster Cloud Sword’ aid at him were the eyes of a living creature, staring fixedly at him. In a trance, it seed as though a ferocious beast with terrible evil energy, with eight heads and eight tails, dragon-like heads and eyes as red as chili sauce, was coiling around the blade of the ’Heavenly Cluster Cloud Sword,’ its sixteen red eyes eyeing him greedily.

"Not good."

Xin Wen had ultimately underestimated the ’Heavenly Cluster Cloud Sword,’ this evil weapon. The murderous aura was so fierce that even Xin Wen, as a senior monk, was montarily disturbed by its intense energy, imdiately internally circulating the ’Heart Zen Immortal Skill,’ his inner spirit unmovable in all directions, countering this extre killing intent.

But just as Xin Wen was montarily distracted, Yagyu Munenori made his move.

"Kill!"

Yagyu Munenori shouted explosively and leaped up, the ’Heavenly Cluster Cloud Sword’ swiftly slashing downwards.

This slash was plain and ordinary, even with significant flaws; even a novice in Martial Arts would know that leaping into the air to attack downwards was a taboo.

However, in this ordinariness, he encapsulated the essence of Yagyu Munenori’s Martial Arts.
