"I am going behind Ryan" Gramma nodded, and Ben also transford into his wolf and ran behind Ryan. Gramma and I sat inside the car, and I am glad that her driving skills are very good. When we reached there, the security guards were not there. Instead, their wolves were standing there. We exited the car, and though they didn’t stop but growled at Gramma.
"She is with " they bowed towards and let both of us enter the hostel campus. We ran at full speed towards the reception area where the receptionist was sitting, but she was looking extrely tense. "Where is your alpha?" I asked her.
"He asked about Reed, and when I told him that Reed went out with the kid, he ran towards the woods."
"Shit", I tried to sll Dee’s scent, and I easily caught it... {he took him towards the southern borders}. I ran in that direction and found myself in the dense part of the woods.
Gramma was still running behind , but soon his scent got mixed with many scents of the forest, and it beca impossible to track him through his scent. "Why am I not able to sll his scent properly? I am Luna queen, for fuck’s sake," I cursed in irritation.
"It has nothing to do with you. Dee is drugged with witch’s herbs. This is the reason why you are unable to sll his scent," Gramma said from behind, and I couldn’t help but cry in helplessness. I was about to call Ryan when I rembered that he had left his cell in the sa place where he had transford into the king. So, I called Layla, Ellon, then matt, then Ellon, and then Mia but none of them answered their cells. Finally, I rembered that Ryan had told Sarah to rest, so I called Sarah, and thanks to my luck that she answered.
"Sarah, mind link Ryan. Ask him where he is, and did he find Dee?" I think that Sarah already felt like there was sothing urgent because she didn’t question and did what I told her to do.
"He is in the woods, Luna. He said that they were not able to spot Reed or Dee at any border area. So, now they are searching the woods, all the warriors have been called for an extensive search for woods, and Jack is taking care of searching them inside the pack," She inford , and I cut the call. I can’t ignore the feeling of dread that is seeping into my whole body.
If Reed is working for Greyson, and if my nightmares are real, then Dee... I shuddered just thinking about my nightmares... {No, nothing like this will happen with Dee. I will not let them do anything wrong with Dee}.. but how will I stop them? Reed already has doubts about Dee being a white wolf. If my nightmares are real, then they surely have done experints on when I am just a human born from a white wolf. I survived because I am a human and not a damn wolf, but Dee is a wolf.. no matter white or not. If they even touch silver on his body, then Dee will suffer unimaginable pain. I shuddered and looked at Gramma.
"Gramma", she was looking around when I called her. She ca towards . "Let’s go. I think I know where we can find our answers" she didn’t ask anything and followed out of the woods. "I need to talk with soone in the dungeons". She nodded, and we went towards the car, and again she drove to the dungeons. I didn’t waste even a single minute and directly went towards the cell in which Wilson was kept. Thanks to my title, no one even stopped from eting him. At first, as soon as he saw , he started shrieking in fear and cowered into a corner.. {it seed like I didn’t have to make much effort to get my answers.}
"Tell everything about Greyson" I can even sll fear from him.. {truth is, he peed in his pants as soon as he saw .}
"I told you everything already", I growled at him, and he tried to hide his fingers from .
"I know you are lying" I took my knife out and stepped towards him. "You should save your neck this ti" His eyes widened in fear, and he covered his neck.
"I don’t know much. I swear I am telling the truth, but I spotted him once in a club. I still don’t know if he was the sa person, but I felt like he was Greyson. I went to that club to take so herbs from a witch. She insisted on eting at that place as the owner of the club was a vampire, and all the species are allowed there" his eyes are closed, and he is whimpering in fear and this ti, I know that he is telling the truth.
"Next ti, don’t waste my ti," I told him and ca out of his cell. "Give him so fucking pants," I told the guard that was guarding his cell, and we both ca out of the dungeons.
"What now? I know the club he is talking about," Gramma told while I was trying to calm my mind to think straight.
"I, too, have an idea. Do you know how to contact that vampire, Who is the owner of that place?" I asked her, and she nodded after thinking for so ti.
"He is the vampire king, so it is hard to contact him directly, but I don’t think anyone will stop you or Ryan from contacting him" I nodded and called Sarah, but she didn’t answer.
"Damn it" I cursed and looked around to find soone to mind link Ryan but no one was there. I looked at Gramma. "Gramma, can’t you mind-link him?" She shook her head negatively.
"Losing my wolf ans the moon goddess has already taken all the werewolf powers from . I was able to have werewolf senses only because I am a part witch" I can’t help but throw all the profanities toward that stupid moon goddess...
"I am Luna. I can accept you in the pack. After that, you can mind link, right" I asked her, and she again shook her head negatively.
"You are only Ryan’s mate. You need to complete the ritual to get the rank of luna of this pack. You can’t even make a mber of this world until you get your crown" I didn’t have ti to curse more, so I went inside the dungeons and was about to go and call so guard when my eyes got fixed on the sa door that has already caught my attention on my very first visit to the dungeons.
I didn’t even take a minute to think and went towards the door and opened it. I could sll a very heavy stench of dicine from here, but still, I went inside. When I was going towards the reception area, I slled the familiar scent of that rogue who mistook for my birth mom from a cell, but it was empty. I ignored it and went towards the reception guy.
"Mind-link your alpha and tell him that we need so information from the vampire king" and as he didn’t decline , I thought that maybe I was using my command. His eyes beca blurry instantly.
"He is asking what did you find?"
"Wilson said that he may have seen Greyson in the vampire king’s club. If he was there, then it is possible that we could find out about his whereabouts from the rogues who used to go into his club" he nodded and mind-linked to Ryan. When his eyes beca normal, I was eagerly waiting for his answer.
"He can’t summon the vampire king, Luna.. but he is going to talk about it with him and tell him to get help in this matter" I ca out of the dungeons and couldn’t help but feel helpless. I accept that Ryan is also right, but this is a matter about Dee.. and all rights automatically beco wrong when it cos to his safety. When I ca outside, I didn’t find Gramma there, and the car was also missing. I never hated the fact that I was not a wolf, not even when I was on the verge of dying fighting those rogues, but today for the first ti, I felt like soone paralysed . I can’t even be in touch with Ryan without taking soone’s help... {If I had been a wolf, then I would have sensed the threat on Dee.}
{Everything would have been fine if I had not left Dee at the hostel. He had already told that he wanted to spend his night with us today. Even after that, I forced him to stay at the hostel. What would have happened if he had missed his training for one day? At least he would have been safe with right now. I promised him that I would always be there for him. I promised that I would keep him safe}... I can’t help but rember his crying face. He got kicked by that kid, and this was enough to make him cry. If Greyson caught hold of him... I shook my head and ca to my senses again... {no, I can’t let anyone even touch him}
Ryan’s car ca towards at speed, and Gramma slamd the brake directly in front of . She ca out and handed Ryan’s phone. "Use it, find vampire king’s contact number. I bet he would surely have it because he can’t mind-link vampire king".. {this proves why people feared her}
I took the mobile from her and searched for his number, which was not very hard. He has saved the na under ’the vampire king without reason. I called him, and after a few rings, he answered the call. I could hear faint sounds from the other side, but he didn’t say anything.
"Hello," I said first.
"So, the alpha king, for a reason, got his mobile confiscated by a woman of unknown species". It is not surprising that he rembered my voice.. {he had already known that day that I was Ryan’s mate then}
"I need your help," I told him sincerely, and as he didn’t say anything instantly, I knew that he was also trying to evaluate the seriousness of the situation.
"What is it?" he asked , and sohow I was relieved that I didn’t need to waste much ti in making him agree to help .
"A kid from our pack is taken by Reed. He was the previous beta of the pack, and we got the information today that he is one of the persons who are behind the disappearance of white wolves. The said kid’s mom was a pure breed white wolf, and Reed has doubts that that kid is also a white wolf. I got the information that the mastermind behind all this has been spotted in your club and as many rogues co into your club, can you help in getting any information from them?" he never interrupted once between, but he didn’t say anything either for a few seconds.
"Can you send so proof of whatever you said about that mastermind being spotted in our club? I know your concern, but I am also bound. I can’t interfere in werewolf matters until I have strong proof and permission from the alpha king or luna queen" I tried to think of sothing, but my mind was blank. "Have you received the crown?" He asked , and when I didn’t reply, he took a deep breath. "I am sorry."
"Wait, vampires are also involved in all this, and I am living proof of it. I am the one who beheaded a vampire in the blue moon pack. I know his body is transported to you. I am also the one who was attacked in the blue moon pack by the group of vampires and rogues in that attack also. I killed a few of the vampires, and again those bodies were sent to you as they are not regular vampires. They were able to heal each other by licking... and I am the one who was again attacked by vampires when Ryan was given the witch herbs in cookies. I am sure he would have discussed it with you" this is my last hope to convince him. After a long pause, he took a deep breath, and I heard shuffling from the other side.
"Do you have any identity of that mastermind?" He asked , and I looked at Gramma in hope.
"You gave a hint about Greyson. Do you know how he looks? Have you ever t him?" I asked her, and she shook her head.
"No, I just heard about him but never t him" I nodded and answered the vampire king.
"No"
"His scent?" he asked again.
"No"
"Then is there anyone who has seen him." he again asked .
"Yes, we have a human prisoner. I will send him to your club. Although I don’t think that he will try to pull off any stunt, and if he does, then you are allowed to hurt him.. not kill, but yes, you can hurt him badly. My grandmother will accompany him," I said, and Gramma nodded.
"Fine, I will show him the CCTV, and as soon as I get any information, I will inform you personally. I am hoping you are also going to share any lead that you will get with , as this matter is also connected with vampires," he said in complete sincerity.
"Definitely. I will inform you as soon as I find sothing."
"Ok, send them to the club. I will be available there and call for any help. My vampires are always ready for bloody wars."... {I am seriously hoping that the matter will not escalate to that extent. I just want my Dee safe.}
"That will be helpful. Thank you so much" with it, he humd, and I cut the call and looked at Gramma. "Let’s go", she nodded, and we again went to Wilson’s cell. He is still looking extrely scared, but thankfully his pants have changed now.
"Take him to the car," I told the guard, and Wilson started crying.
"Where are you taking ? Please don’t kill . Please," I can’t help but hate him more... {Did he never think that the people he was torturing were going through imnse pain? He is the one who started all this, or my Dee would have been with safely right now.}
"I am not killing you. I am sending you to a place with my grandmother to identify Greyson. Don’t pull any stunts because you will be surrounded by vampires there. It will not be my mistake if they will suck the blood out of your filthy body. Only she is the one who can save you there. So, don’t even try to pull any stunt," I threatened him, and from his expression and heart rate, I knew that he was not going to do anything. We threw him in the passenger seat with his legs and hands tied, and we locked his legs beneath the seat for additional safety.
Gramma sat in the driver’s seat, and with a curt nod, she drove away. I was about to turn toward ho when I saw the sa golden eyes in the woods. This ti it didn’t scare . It didn’t make feel like running away. I looked at him without blinking, and I could see him coming outside from the shadows. When he ca out of the shadows, my breath caught in my throat. Though he is still half visible, the wolf’s beauty can’t be described in words. His eyes are golden and glowing, just like Ryan’s when the king takes full control of him. His fur is so white and bright that it is painful for my eyes to look at him... {So, he is Greyson}
I know why he is here. He knows that I am searching for him, he knows that I am ready to face everything now, and lastly... he knows that I am going to follow him. I placed both the mobiles on the ground and looked towards the path that was going towards Ryan’s house... {I can’t see any other path right now when the path that takes to Dee is in front of . Please forgive , Ryan, for doing this, but I will always choose Dee over .}
"For dee", I tried to boost my confidence, and without any second thought, I walked towards the wolf.
