"And let guess... they found nothing" Ryan nodded. "I really can’t take so much suspense in my life now" I am fed up with all this. My life was never normal, but from my last birthday, I feel like soone blew up a suspense bomb in my life... every step, every phase of my past life is a mystery to , and now I am not willing to make my present a mystery too. I got up from my seat and looked at Garry. "Give so work, Garry, or I will surely beco insane."
"I also think that you should stay away from this matter," Ryan said to and then looked at Garry. "Send those files that I asked for, and I am guessing that there is no eting today."
"Yes, alpha, but there is a lot of pack’s work piled up because of your absence from the last ten days"... {I didn’t know he was skipping the office for }
"Fine, send all the pack-related files to my office. Aadhya, complete your work within three hours at most, then we have to go to the pack’s office," he told us, and after that, Garry and I both went to my cabin.

"Oh, you have not t with delta jack... then you surely missed soone very important. He is the most cheerful person I have ever t in my life. He is not only the delta of our pack but also the best friend of alpha Ryan. We have heard many stories of their friendship; you can say that they both are more like brothers than friends," he said with a smile.
"Where is he? I actually have had my fair share of very important etings with alpha, but I have never t him or even heard his na."
"He beca a father a month ago, so he is on paternity leave. Alpha Ryan didn’t like to work without delta jack, but this ti he couldn’t stop him from taking leave. Everyone knows the importance of finding their mates and starting their family with them. " I can clearly see the longing in his eyes.

"Alpha Benjamin needed my help in a very crucial case, so I needed to help him with that. But I am not regretting the decision. He is going to co back very soon from the blue moon pack, and after that, I will get the chance to explore different packs with him. He handles outside matters for alpha Ryan" he said with a smile and then extended a file towards "now we should start working, or you would not be able to wind up all the work within three hours". I nodded, and with this, he explained the work to , and I started doing the things.

"I am going into dungeons. You want to accompany ?" Right now, we both are sitting in his pack’s office... {Yeah, I didn’t know that he had such a massive building as an office within the pack} ... We ca from knights four or five hours ago, and from then, we are doing all sorts of work that the alpha king is liable to do. There are many reports from the council that needed his imdiate attention, and a few reports are from different packs too. After reading those reports, he needs to prioritise which matter should be looked at instantly and which can wait for a while.
Most matters are concerned with rogue attacks, vampire sightings, etc. I get to know about many new things in the last five hours, like vampires, werewolves, and witches are not enemies of each other, and no matter how hard it is to believe, Ryan actually has very decent relations with the vampire king.
"Why do you daydream so much?" I ca out of my thoughts by Ryan’s voice, "now tell are you coming with in dungeons, or will you sit here and read more reports?" he asked , and right now, I really don’t want to witness him ripping soone’s throat or even to sll that stupid stench of blood... {but I do want to et Amara.}
"How about I join you after an hour? I only wanted to go there because I wanted a second eting with Amara,’’ he thought for a second and looked at sceptically.
"That’s alright, but why am I getting a feeling like you are not going to sit here and read the reports casually" ... {I don’t know when and how he started to understand so perfectly}
"You told that I can talk with dee. Finally, I got the ti, and I think dee would have also co back to hostel now" he nodded and extended his mobile towards .
"Warden’s number is saved with the na.."
"Na of warden... yeah, I know" I completed his sentence for him.
"How?"
"Because your creativity level is zero, and you are not very good at rembering people’s nas."
"Seems like soone is observing my behaviour very closely" he raised an eyebrow with a smirk and leaned towards a little.
"Oh, believe , I am observing many more things than just your behaviour, Ryan." I also leaned toward him.

"You are a badass with a good ass," I said thoughtfully, and he broke into fits of laughter.
"Well, thanks for your complint, Chicky. I will rember that I have a good ass" he stood up while shaking his head fondly.
"What is Chicky?... Who is Chicky?... Why did you call Chicky?... I don’t like Chicky.." I said all the sentences while scrunching my nose in distaste, "It doesn’t even sound badass." I complained.
"Because you are not badass, Chicky", he pinched my nose, and I glared at him, "but you too have a good ass" I pouted in irritation and tried to hide my blush... {he complinted } ... then he walked towards the bathroom and ca after so ti now dressed in casual clothes.
"Why did you change those clothes? You were looking good," I asked him.
"I don’t like my clothes to get dirty" I rolled my eyes at this... {obviously, he was going to the dungeons}.
"Yeah yeah... king already told this", he nodded.
"We will et in an hour at level four entrance. You are not going alone there... understood", he said the last part a little strictly, and I rolled my eyes.
"You are saying as if your guards will let enter there without your permission," I stated the truth grumpily.
"I can’t take any risks when I already know that you can command them to do so" my eyes lit up on this, and he sighed. "I just gave you an idea, didn’t I?" I nodded cheekily, and he again smiled... {I really like it more when he smiles} ... "Don’t go there alone, Chicky.. for , please" I can’t help but agree with him... {Who will not listen to him when he is so, so.... heart touching} ...with it he went away, and I called the warden from his mobile phone.
The warden answered the call after a few rings. "Yes, alpha"... {it seems like she already has his number}
"I am his assistant; I think he has talked with you about a student Diego," I explained, and she didn’t question anything.
"Hold on for a few minutes. I have already called him. He will be here soon" I waited patiently for a few minutes when I heard the excited patting of footsteps coming towards the phone.
"Addyyyy", he shouted on the phone excitedly, and I couldn’t help but mimic his excitent.
"Deeeeeee", I said in the sa voice, which made him laugh... {damn, I missed him so much}
"I missed you so much, addy... Have you been a good girl?" he asked , and I couldn’t help but laugh at his antics.
"That should be my line, dee", I heard him giggling from the other side.
"I have been a good boy. I even ate greenies in my food because my friend said that his father said that eating greenies can make us bigger fast" ... {yeah, he doesn’t like green vegetables... thanks to that friend’s dad} ... "But I miss you, addy. Can’t you co here and live with , please" ... {ok, now he is making emotional}
"I also want to et you and stay with you dee, but that is school, and in school, only teachers and students are allowed}

"Here is your phone" I gave Ryan his phone, and we both went inside level four.
"Alpha", a bulky-looking werewolf ca toward us. "The prisoner you asked for is in chamber four. She has neither said anything nor done anything to cause a problem to us till now, but she keeps murmuring sothing always, which is generally in so weird language" Ryan nodded towards him, and we went to chamber four.
She is sitting on the floor while her legs and hands are tied with silver cuffs, and I can sll the extrely high dosage of wolfbane from her. She had cut marks all over her hand that I gave her last ti, but those wounds are healed now... but silver does leave scars... {Don’t feel sorry for her, Aadhya. She is not my gramma, and she is the one who has given so many wounds to my gramma}. When we entered the dungeon, she didn’t look at us. She is constantly looking outside from a very tiny window on the wall.
"Do you think that you are ready to answer our questions?" Ryan asked her, but she didn’t even turn to look at us. "I really don’t want to torture you but don’t think that I will stop her from doing anything with you" on this, she turned and looked at . If I am not wrong, I saw a weird emotion in her eyes for a nanosecond, but that was for such a short ti that I couldn’t identify or understand what it was. We waited for her to say sothing, but she again turned her head towards the window.
"Do you again want so alone ti with her?" he asked , and I shook my head negatively. We turned to leave, but I heard a very slight murmuring.
"Grey is not just a colour" We both stopped and turned towards her.
"What did you say?" I asked her, and she turned towards .
"Nice tattoo" with it, she again started looking out of the window. We waited a few more minutes there, but after that, we ca outside.
"Do you think she ans sothing?" Ryan asked , and even after thinking a lot, I didn’t understand what she was saying, so I shrugged, and he nodded. When we were coming out, I felt a strange connection coming from the opposite side of the dungeons, so I stopped.
"What happened?" Ryan asked , and I couldn’t help but feel uneasy yet attached sohow.
"What’s there?" I asked him while pointing towards a door on the farther corner.
"There are so very old prisoners in dungeons. Their cris are not so severe that we put them to level four or five but still, we can’t set them free. Although it is a dungeon, we have a hospital here for ergencies. So, there is a hospital behind that door."... {That’s not the connection feeling, dude, That’s the spooky feeling from those dicines. Damn those hospitals}.
"Is there sothing wrong?" he asked , and I shook my head... {no more stupid slls} I looked at his watch, and it was showing 9:00 pm...
"We should go ho now" He nodded, and we finally ca outside the dungeons.
As soon as we reached ho, the delicious sll of steak invaded my senses. Without waiting for a minute, I ran into the kitchen and found gramma singing and swaying her hips while cooking the food... {only I knew how much I miss her cooking}
"Noohh..." I was about to enter the kitchen, but she shouted at , "you are reeking of wolfsbane, go and have a shower first."
"But steak..." she narrowed her eyes at , "You are not going to give anything till I comply, are you?" She is still looking at with narrowed eyes.
"Fine old woman... I know you never loved more than your stupid cleanliness" I tried to throw tantrums. "One day, you will have a complete clean place for you and a lot of steaks, but I will not be hungry then, huh" I threw my arms here and there and went towards my room... {a hungry girl can throw tantrums}.
"What was that?" I heard Ryan’s voice and gramma’s chuckle.
"Nothing, just trying to throw tantrums. Every ti soone denies her food, she just acts like this," gramma said, and Ryan chuckled.
"But I do have to accept that this delicious sll made hungrier.".... {haww, he is going to finish the whole steak} I again ran towards the kitchen and took Ryan’s hand in mine.
"Didn’t you hear that we are reeking of wolfsbane? You also have to take a bath." I pushed him towards the stairs, and he looked at with an amusing expression, "Go fast", he chuckled and shook his head but finally went away.
"If he cos before , you are not going to let him finish everything, ok" I pointed my finger at gramma, and she nodded. I ran to my room and took the quickest bath of my life. When I returned, Ryan was not there, but the steak was already on the dining table, and gramma was waiting for us. Ryan also ca after five minutes, and then we all had the most delicious food of our life... no, day {and today is the day when I am promising myself that I will eat a lot and lot of delicious cuisines in my life.}

"How can you even move after eating so much?" I asked Ryan while still sitting on the dining chair... {I think I should not have eaten so much}.
"I have duties to do" Ryan is going for his night patrolling, and I am not able to understand how he is able to do this... {but that’s good he is going, or I would not have even thought of executing my plan today.}
"Bubye then, take care. Good night," I told him and yawned... {I definitely ate a lot}. He chuckled and went out of the house.
"I am also going to sleep now" gramma kissed on the cheek and went into her room. I also went to my room and from the window saw Ryan going into the woods. I took the pillows and covered them with a duvet.
"I just hope that Ryan will not find out about this tinni tiny rule-breaking".... {Is it really this tinni tiny?} I can’t help but ask myself.... but now it is not the ti to question my plan. It is the ti to execute it.
