Chapter 92: Bonus Chapter I
Aadhya’s POV -
“Stop whining or I am not going to put bandages on your wound Aria”, I scolded Aria for again cutting herself after sneaking at the arsenal... {God knows how Ryan and Dee will react to the new injury now} ... Bria was silently watching both of us.
Aria and Bria are now eight years old. With every year adding into their age, I always hope that this year they will nd their ways and stop troubling others or at least stop hurting themselves but every year they shatter my hopes as soon as I build them.
It is the third ti that Aria or Bria tried to use the knives and cut themselves instead... {yep, it is the sa every ti. Only one of them got hurt whenever they do sothing stupid and this ti it is Aria’s turn}
But I don’t bla them for this. Whenever we are training, Ryan, dee and I, all three of us can’t help but show off our knife skills to the other warriors and even compete with each other. So, it is normal for curious kids like Aria and Bria to get attracted towards these weapons and try to do the stunts as we do... {but at their age, Dee was not like that. Yeah, he also cut himself a couple of tis, but he was way more mature at that age than these girls. Dee was way calr than my girls. Aria and Bria are always way more excited to do and learn new things which always ends up in them getting hurt or hurting others.}
“Addy” I heard Dee’s voice calling
and I can’t help but get tense. Dee and Ryan both are extra protective of these two... and the problem doesn’t end here. Aria and Bria also overreact whenever dee and Ryan are around. I heard Dee’s footsteps coming towards my room and I can notice the sudden tears in Aria’s eyes “What happened?” Dee entered the room and looked at all three of us in concern as he has already slt blood.
“I got hurt Dee” suddenly the calmly sitting aria said with teary eyes and a whimpering voice... {here the drama starts} ... Dee was by her side in seconds and as I have already dressed the cut, I didn’t stop any of them... {I can’t wait for them to get their wolves. At least I didn’t have to worry about their getting hurt... Or hurting others also}
I rolled my eyes and packed the first aid kit. I got up and went to the closet to put the box in its place. When I ca back Dee was trying to distract the girls and is telling them one of his ‘cool’ stories, but I can still see the creases of concern on his forehead... {rember the ti when we used to do the sa with Dee} ... A soft smile ca on my face just thinking about when Dee was a little kid.
I looked at him closely and I felt very proud of what he had finally beco... {don’t forget that you are also like this because Dee ca into your life} ... I agree with my wolf completely. If it was not for Dee, then I should have left the werewolf world a long ago. Neither would I have t Ryan, nor the other things would have happened the way they happened. There is a high chance that I would be dead by now if Dee was not there in my life.
Dee has beco a grown-up man now even when he is still in his teens... {he is already sixteen... only a few more years and he will beco an adult then he will have a pack of his own to lead and soon he will also find his mate.... Damn, when did he grow up?} ... It still astonishes
how these kids have grown so fast. It was just yesterday when dee was in school and I used to sneak into the hostel to et Dee and Owen... damn it feels like it was just a while ago when I have given them birth and Ryan was also crying in the whole process along with ... {Well, let’s not get nostalgic right now. We still have work to do. Dee will take care of Aria and bria now.}
“Dee, love, do you have to go sowhere?” I asked him and he looked at ... {He is looking troubled}
“No, I am not going anywhere,” he said and caressed Aria’s head. I looked at Bria who is still looking scared and extrely guilty. They were fighting with each other and even after
telling them many tis to practice with the wooden knives, they went for the real knives and here’s the result. Bria’s knife hurt Aria... {and the cut is deep too}
“Ok, can you co with
for a second,” I told him, and he nodded. I went to the office and after a few minutes Dee also ca “She is not crying now, Is she?” I asked him and he shook his head negatively “What happened Dee?”
I asked him because he is way too silent today. I knew that there are many things that he didn’t share with us now and there are many problems that he took care of by himself but still I can’t ignore the fact that he is not looking like the normal Dee. He didn’t say anything just keep staring at the paperweight that was on the table and I gave him ti to slowly contemplate if he wanted to share things with
or not. Finally, after a few minutes, he took a deep breath and looked at
directly in my eyes.
“My wolf is behaving like a jerk” he paused, and I instantly knew where the conversation is leading but I nodded and encouraged him to continue “He is acting weird. He is snapping at everyone for even the tiniest of things. The things that used to feel like a good joke are now making him mad and this is making
irritated too. I was just training with Owen before I ca here. Owen teased
and I don’t know what happened to Delcan (dee’s wolf), he took control from
and attacked Owen” before I ask him about the well-being of Owen he continued “No need to get tensed... He did attack him, but that attack was not the kind of attack to hurt soone. It is just to show him...” he stopped and looked downwards “his place” he completed his sentence, and I can’t help but smile.
“And you think you are becoming like Ethan?” he didn’t say anything but took a deep breath.
“I don’t want to do mistakes and hurt my people just because my wolf needed to show everyone their place... I don’t know why he started taking himself as so almighty suddenly. We are just normal wolves. Being alpha born doesn’t an that he is ahead of everyone,” he said in irritation, and I can’t help but smile.
“If you think like that then I have to say that I am really impressed by this” he looked at
as if I have gone mad.
“Just because you love
doesn’t an that everything, I do is right addy. I am not a kid anymore now. Do you think I can’t see how you treat
and how you treat Aria and Bria? I don’t rember you scolding
as much as you scold Aria and Bria. You guys always supported
but when aria and bria do sothing wrong you always scold them and even don’t talk with them sotis but that never happened with .” I tried to interrupt him, but he shook his head in denial and I shut my mouth.
“You have to accept it because it is the truth. I didn’t rember you leaving
behind when I got an injury. No matter if you are busy or not you always stayed with . I know I am your favourite among all the children, but you have to tell
when I am doing sothing wrong.” Though he is complaining in all this he has not even looked once towards

on my mistakes, then how will I be able to step in your footsteps” he said and finally looked at

Neither did I have younger siblings, nor I lived with any kid before I shifted to the pack’s orphanage. Truth be said, I never saw you as a kid. You have always been my safe zone even when Ryan has not entered our lives.” he is looking too shocked to react.
“After becoming a warrior, I used to stay in the woods even after my duty was over. I just went to pack house to take a bath or for food. When I shifted to the orphanage, I t you."
"You are the reason I started coming back at night because you used to wait for

“Look, as a mother I know that aria and bria are going to do many stupid things in their lives because no matter how much I wanted them to be like you or Ryan I know that they are more like ... and I don’t even know my capability to do stupid things, so this ans that I didn’t even know the capability of my girls. I only knew that I have surprised everyone by doing many stupid things, but I didn’t want my girls to do the sa. I don’t want them to challenge vampires when I knew that getting alive from that position was almost impossible, I don’t want them to follow a psycho killer when I already knew what he was capable of. I am never scared for you in this case. You are more like Ryan than . “And no need to worry about all this alpha wolf ego thing. King and Aadhya (addy’s wolf) are still like this. This is the only reason Ryan always adds ‘I am alpha king for a reason’” both dee and
said Ryan’s favourite dialogue together and then started laughing loudly.
“So, that’s normal” I nodded, and he is looking relieved now.
“You just have to learn to calm your wolf a little. Aadhya will also talk with Delcan about this” he smiled and nodded.
“Why didn’t you change your wolf’s na addy? I an it is a bit confusing sotis” he said and ca towards
took the snacks from my desk and started munching... {here cos my dee back... and I am not changing my na. Mom chose that na for . If you want, then you can change your na} ... I rolled my eyes at my wolf’s statent, but my thoughts are similar in this case as hers. Our na is the only thing that I got from our birth parents, and I am not going to change that.
“Because we both like that” Dee nodded and looked at the files that are everywhere on the desk.
“Ry, El and I already solved this issue. No need to work on that” I looked at the file and checked the first page and I found Ryan’s mark of completion on it.
“When did you work on that file?” I asked him and he
“Last night ry and el are working on it. I was also free so ry told
to join them” I nodded “now, here are your remaining snacks. I am going with the girls now. I think we have already given enough ti to bria to apologise to aria right” he asked , and I nodded “cool, now I am going with them. And don’t expect
to not spoil them. You are their mother, for
they are my equal. I am also immature, and I will also appreciate if they will break rules with ” he used my words against
with a smirk and went out of the office. I smiled at his stupidity when Ryan mind-linked
that there is a very important discussion he has to have with . So, I asked him where he is, and he inford
that he was in knights.
I took the motorcycle key and helt and drove towards the knights after mind-linking dee. I parked the vehicle in the basent and went towards the elevators. By now, I knew almost everyone who works here now, specifically the guards because no matter whether wolf or human I assist matt in their training very closely. I am very glad to even say that there are almost a hundred wolves that learnt the art of semi-shifting from my wolf. I never felt it was a huge capability before because like many things my wolf has developed this with ti but when I was inford that only Ryan was able to do this and that too with not much clarity, I finally understood how important this capability is. Now all the ranking wolves have this capability and even Dee too learned it very soon. Actually, his wolf has insane respect for my wolf. She is his idol, so if she does sothing then he makes it his goal to learn that too. This is the reason that Dee learned mid-shifting or semi-shifting at this age too.
I went towards Ryan’s office and entered after knocking. I was expecting dad and Ryan to be here but the presence of alpha Aiden and luna Olivia surely did surprise . After Ethan’s death, I was expecting them to bla
for everything, but they didn’t even say a single word to .
I still know when they arrived in the crescent moon pack after we inford them about Ethan’s death, and actually, there is not even the need of informing them. The exact second when Ethan took his last breath, they felt the pain of his death. I was with Ethan’s body in the hospital when both alpha and luna arrived there. While luna collapsed on the door while crying as soon as her eyes landed on Ethan’s body, alpha just stood there like a puppet.
Let’s just say that there are many mories that I badly want to forget, and that mory was one of those. They stayed for two days in the crescent moon pack that ti and that was the last ti I t them.
“Hello, Alpha, luna” I greeted them and no matter how much I got comfortable with people treating
like luna queen, I will never be able to be comfortable with people whom I knew before treating
like a queen. Both of them stood from their respective seats and bowed to .
“Hello luna queen” I nodded awkwardly and told them to sit. Dad was sitting on the head chair and Ryan was just standing by the glass wall. I felt his gaze and looked at him. He is looking tired yet calm, he extended his hand towards , and I went towards him. I hugged him and released my scent to calm him and instantly slt his scent too.
We finally let each other go in a few seconds (yeah, or dad will surely say that... Ahm, ahm no need to make
jealous love birds} ... but neither Ryan nor I let go of each other hand.
“So, we have a matter in hand” as soon as dad said this, I got tense because the last ti blue moon pack has issues the reason behind that was
and my family. Ryan squeezed my hand, and I assured him that I am fine “Alpha Aiden want to retire from his alpha duties” suddenly the visuals from my childhood flashed in front of my eyes when Ethan used to tell
that he going to be the alpha of the pack and then no one will bully ... {and later he himself beco our bully}.
“Though normally in their case people went to council for help alpha Aiden has sothing in mind” the way dad looked at
after his statent clearly stated that this surely have sothing to do with ... {oh co on, I am not going away from my family and my pack... shit} as soon as I realised what they are referring to I looked at Ryan who is himself not looking prepared for it.
“They wanted Dee to take over the Blue moon pack” I looked at alpha Aiden and Luna Olivia who are closely observing my reaction... {What the fuck is this?}
“Dee is sixteen only. He is not mature enough to handle a pack right now” I said to everyone and looked at dad.
“But he already is stronger than many alphas of other packs.” I opened my mouth to deny but dad cut
off “you both trained him yourself. None of you can deny this. He has proved himself uncountable tis. Not only he shifted into his wolf three years earlier than every other wolf, but he also mastered the art of mid-shift. He is observing Ryan’s work from the ti he was twelve and now he already has developed a deep understanding of pack matters.” dad stated all the things of dee that all three of us are extrely proud of but still I am not ready to let him go this soon.
“He can’t take alpha duties right now dad. He is only sixteen and don’t forget that he will only be able to find his mate after he turns eighteen. He is still a kid, at least let him live his life freely till he was eighteen” this ti Ryan interrupted dad.
“You took the alpha king duties when you were sixteen” dad stated.
“I was given those duties dad. I didn’t choose that for . Moon goddess gave
a crown that’s why I have to be the alpha king. We are Dee’s guardians, and we are not imposing this responsibility on dee until he is not eighteen at least” Ryan said, and I nodded in his support.
“I am not active as I used to be before” suddenly alpha Aiden interrupted all three of us “I think you can also see this clearly. Though I agree with you from a parent or guardian’s perspective. I don’t agree with you from Dee’s perspective. A normal alpha wolf has their first shift at sixteen, they transform their underdeveloped command according to their nature... the more dominant the nature of the person is the more speedily their alpha command and nature develop. Still, there is not even a single instance when an alpha wolf has not developed the command fully after two years of his first shift. Deigo has his first shift in thirteen I guess” he said, and I nodded softly “he is already sixteen now. I don’t know if he shared with you or not, but I am sure you have also noticed those ‘alpha wolf’ triggers in his behaviour now. None of you feels threatened by his alpha wolf because you are the king and queen of our world, but his wolf will soon start craving for his land, own people and own pack. The last decision will obviously be yours but think about this part too” I can feel Ryan’s anxiety and I am sure that he will also be able to feel mine too.
“I don’t want to give control of the blue moon pack to anyone. We loved and cherished that pack our whole lives. We are just trying to ensure that our pack goes into the hands of soone worthy of it. We are retiring from pack’s duties, but we will be there with Dee if he will face any issue in pack matters.” these are the words of luna Olivia. She looked at alpha Aiden and then again at
“at least for two years we are planning to live in blue moon pack more just to ensure that we have given the pack in the right hands after that we are also planning to shift sowhere far in peace” and now if I consider everything with a rational mind, I really have to accept that both of them have a strong point.
“That’s not the only thing Olivia, Aiden,” Ryan said to them “along with the rank of alpha there cos many risks too. Dee will be the direct target of many dangerous people especially when everybody knows how much important he is for us... the alpha king and luna queen” none of the people present in the room said anything after this.
“Let’s first talk with dee in this matter. Let us hear what he thinks about this after that we will think about that” dad suggested but I can’t help but interrupt him.
“No one is talking with him in this matter. You have to assure us first that he will be safe if we will send him there.” I said and Ryan nodded on this.
“I know you don’t believe
and Aiden. But you do believe blacks, don’t you?” luna Olivia asked . Beth is the current delta of the pack, and her mate is Gary (yeah, the sa Gary who used to be the assistant of Ryan. They found each other when beth ca to et Layla after the war with greyson}... “Let’s do this. We will give the alpha duties to Diego on papers, but we will not disclose the information until he turns eighteen. Till then we will act as alpha and luna of the pack, but every decision will be of Diego.” she suggested, and this actually confused .
“Why are you so eager to transfer the alpha rank to Dee, Luna?” I asked suddenly and both of them looked as if a deer caught in headlights... {there is sothing surely wrong} ... “Don’t forget that the person who we are talking about is ‘my Dee’ alpha, luna” I warned them, and they visibly shook because of my aura.
“Council mbers are making pressure on us for a few years either to take soone as our heir or to give up the alpha rank now” as soon as I heard this, I again felt the sa anger towards elders that I always feel in those conferences in the council.
“We don’t want them to forcefully remove us from the rank and give our pack to soone who is not worthy enough” now everything they said was making sense to
“Even two years ago too we thought to co and talk to you about the sa, but it felt really cruel for even us to give this much risk and responsibility to a fourteen-year-old. Even today too we ca to ask for a solution to this problem. We heard alpha talking with Diego on the call about so cases earlier and the way Diego was talking with him and the suggestions that he was giving are way more mature for just a sixteen-year-old. I am not concerned about his values or his strength because you are the one from whom he learned all the things in his life” alpha Aiden said while looking at ... {Do we really have to live apart from Dee now? Is there really no other solution to this problem?}
