"What?".. {Did I hear that wrong?}
"Reed has doubts that Dee is a white wolf." Ben clarified my doubt, and I couldn’t help but get confused.
"But white wolves are extinct. I read it in a book. How can Dee be a white wolf?" I looked at Reed in astonishnt, and he looked at Ben and then again at .
"White wolves are not extinct. They are just a few in numbers. We even have one in our pack. Has she not t Anshuman till now?" he asked Ben, and he nodded his head "then maybe you have not t Anshuman’s wolf till now?" I closed my eyes to calm my stupid brain and heart to not think sothing bad.
"I just wanted to know... Will it be an issue for him?" I asked Ben seriously.
"There is no need to panic right now. He just has doubts that maybe Dee can be a white wolf because he is stronger than the other children of his age" I can’t even express in words how happy I felt by hearing this.
"It’s alright then. Make him stronger. I will handle everything that will co his way until he grows up," I said to Reed and got up from my chair.
"I should go now," Reed said and walked out of the house while I went towards the kitchen, and Ben followed
later on.
"Are you not afraid that Dee will be the target for everyone as he is one of the very few white wolves?" he asked
when we both were preparing dinner.
"Getting targeted in this world doesn’t seem abnormal to
now. I am glad that he is strong. I want him to beco as strong as he can" I told him the truth and started chopping the veggies.
’’Which book did you read about white wolves?" he asked .
"The legend of the white wolf and the curse on the moon goddess. Although I have not completed it, I did read a few pages in which it is clearly written that white wolves are extinct," I explained, and he nodded.
"I have a handwritten draft in my room which has the real facts and figures on white wolves. Anshuman and I have been researching a few issues regarding white and black wolves for so ti. I think you would want to read that along with the book you are already reading," he asked , and I nodded.
"Sure, can you tell
sothing?" I asked him, and he humd.
"Lily is your gamma’s daughter. Then why is Mia the gamma of this pack and not Lily?" I asked him, and he took a deep breath.

When Ryan was seven, we faced a lethal attack on our pack, and we lost many loved ones in it. That ti reed used to be my beta; Ellon’s parents were the gamma, and jack’s older sister ’hazel’ was our delta. Before Ellon’s parents’ lily’s parents were the gamma couple of crescent moon. I don’t know the reason, but they gave up their ranks a year before the attack and joined the warriors. They were the ones who inford us about the attack, and after minutes of them informing us, they got killed by the rogues.
After the attack, Reed continued to do his beta duties, and Anshuman took care of the gamma and delta duties. We all are nothing, just the broken souls after that attack. Reed lost his mate and unborn child, I lost Chandra, and Anshuman lost the only family he has {his mate died within a year after they found each other, and as his parents are also dead, so, Chandra is the only family he had}. We all want to busy ourselves with sothing because the pain is unbearable. We invested all our skills and ti to train and cherish these kids who have no one but us. They all are very strong and are already connected with the king. We know that they are going to be the ones who will lead this pack in future.
Three years after the attack, a girl around the age of five or six ca running in our pack. She was bruised and beaten and was covered in blood from head to toe. She was a werewolf, so the warriors captured her and inford us. Five rogues entered our pack behind her to capture her, but we killed them all. That girl was Mia. She is the daughter of one of the rogues, but the other rogues killed her parents, and by mistake, she entered our pack while trying to save herself. After her wounds were healed and she was a little calm, I gave her a choice of joining our pack, and she agreed with us. So, I took her in with the other kids. She is exceptionally well and was able to beat everyone except Ryan in fights at that ti.
I knew that in future, we were going to face issues in distributing ranks between them, but we were so stunned by Mia’s strength that we started training every pup of this pack to its fullest. I had even made up my mind that if we find soone who will be stronger and cleverer than Ryan, then we will make him the alpha because after losing so many people, we all know that a weak alpha costs more than sothing we can’t afford to lose.
But then Ryan was made the alpha king, and the king himself chose his beta, gamma and delta. Lily was not given any rank, but she has always been an understanding girl. She understood that there was nothing that she could do in this matter. So, she started training and studying dicine under Anshuman’s guidance.
When Lily and Ryan started dating, I tried to make them understand that dating is not a good decision when you already know that soone has been waiting for you for his whole life, and they did understand it at first, but after a few years of waiting they made their relationship official. I was not very fond of the idea, but I couldn’t help when everyone was ready to accept their relationship, even the council too. I just wanted my children’s happiness, so I accepted them. But then Lily found her mate, and after that, you already know whatever happened.

I am thinking about everything that Ben has told , and now I can understand how they are bonded so well with each other. If he had not told
all this, then I would have never been able to even think about what all these people have gone through in their lives. I looked at the draft that Ben gave
on black and white wolves.
I looked at the draft and then at the clock, which showed 12:00 am... {I think I should read it. I should know everything that is must for
to know if dee is a white wolf} I took it to read when soone knocked on the door. I opened the door and found Ben standing there.
"You are still living in his room, eh," he said, and I nodded "well, Ryan told
that you wanted to et Wilson."
"Yeah, I tried to take his permission," he chuckled.
"You tried well. He told
to take you to Wilson today. So, let’s go," he told , and I looked at him as if he had grown two heads.
"It is midnight, Ben."
"Oh, co on. You don’t have much ti during the day. Do you?" {he has a point}.
"Let’s go then."

After warning
several tis that I was not allowed to kill him, Ben finally allowed
to go inside Wilson’s cell. He was already looking grumpier than before, and the fact that we woke him in the middle of the night was not helping either, but as soon as he saw , all his sleep vanished, and he gulped audibly. I went towards the table that was placed in between and sat on the chair while he was frantically looking outside for soone... {he looked so scared to be alone in the sa room as mine}
"Are you going to co here on your own, or do you want
to drag you here?" This is enough for him to co and sit in front of . He nodded on this. I can see many injections and piercings on his forearm, and for the first ti, I felt good by looking at these piercings... {it seems like he is getting the taste of his own dicine}
"I am not going to talk with you about anything. Call Benjamin or his son Ryan," he demanded, and I smirked.
"You are in no place to negotiate, Wilson. You are sitting here alive because I showed you rcy but don’t test your luck much. I never repeat my mistakes." I tried to talk with him calmly.
"I know you are going to kill
anyways. I am not telling you anything" I find his courage at this ti so amusing and stupid.
"True," I told him and took a knife from my calf, "but the deal is that if you tell us everything, then they will be the one to kill you, but if you don’t, then I will be the one who is going to kill you". I could see the hesitation in his eyes. His whole focus is on the knife... {start your act now} I grabbed the knife’s blade and tightened my hold around it, which caused the blade to cut my skin, and blood started dripping from my hand. "You know Wilson, we are similar to each other in one matter" I smiled at him.
He is looking at
as if I have gone mad. "We both love to torture people. You know, there are many things that I adore about werewolves, but there is one thing that I hate about them" I looked at him and showed him my now bloodied hand with a deep cut in it. "They kill their prey very easily. Do you want to know my style? Especially if the prey is human with no healing abilities" before he even understood anything, I took his right hand and cut his thumb in one strike. Blood started oozing from his hand, and for a second, he was so shocked that he didn’t even shout, but after a few seconds, he fell from his chair and started screaming in pain while clutching his hand. I could hear footsteps coming toward us, so I waited for them to co here...{oopss}
Ben is now glaring at
while two of the warriors that ca with him are standing behind him, and Wilson is still sobbing while clutching a cloth to his wound. "You still have a choice, Wilson... Who are you choosing, these guys or ?" I smiled at him innocently, and he crawled towards Ben and clutched his feet.
"I will answer every question. Please just keep this mad woman away from . Please," he begged, and I smiled triumphantly at Ben.
"You told us that you accidentally found that your driver is a werewolf, and when you investigated the matter closely, you found out that his wife and his son were also a werewolf" he nodded frantically "then you captured them and burned their ho and put three dead bodies so that no one can suspect that they were alive" he again nodded, and I can see that the warriors that ca with Ben are now glaring at Wilson "Words, Wilson. I want words."
"Yes, yes, I did all of it. I am the one who took information from them about werewolves by threatening their child, and when they told
everything, I started giving them small doses of wolfsbane and silver to them see its effect on their body. They could have easily killed , but their son is their weakness. Later I found out that the she-wolf was pregnant, so I started doing tests on the fetus within her womb. I was so eager to see the results, but that stupid she-wolf killed herself one day. Her death was shocking for , but still, I didn’t stop." he stopped and sobbed.
"I continued my experints on the male wolf, but after his wife’s death, he beca weaker. I was not in a position to lose another subject, so I bought a human girl and forced him to mate with that human, but that scoundrel also killed himself by injecting a very high dosage of silver into his body. It was all because of him, or I would have made a new hybrid. After that, I did many experints on that kid, and truth to be said, that kid’s body was far stronger than his parent’s. Although he had not changed into his wolf at that ti, he still had the wolf’s capabilities. He shifted when he was ten-year-old, and after that, my experints started showing more and more results, but when he was thirteen, he ran away from the lab. I tried to find him because I knew that he would not be able to run much far as he was extrely weak from the high dosage of silver and wolfsbane in his body, but I never found him after that."
"Many a ti I wandered in woods to search for him or even so other wolf on which I can do my further experints, but after that, I didn’t find any... and later on I got a threat letter from the boy who ran away" he again rambled all his story but this ti in short and I can feel the anger of all the wolves present in the room.
"What is the fur colour of the wolf?" I asked him.
"White, all three of them are white" I looked at Benjamin on this, and he is now looking lethal.
"And what’s the kid’s na? ".. {I think I know it already}.
