Chapter 27: Chapter 27 - I love you
He didn’t have to ask
to breathe again as I automatically started breathing hungrily. He took a step backward after a few minutes, but I clutched his shirt, pulled him towards , and continued slling him. My bliss ended when suddenly the scent was gone. I opened my eyes and tried to sniff him more but found nothing.
"Are you alright, Aadhya?" he asked . I don’t know why but tears welled up in my eyes, and my lower lip trembled.
"I am unable to sll that ’’ I told him like a five-year-old, but I have no sha in accepting that because I wanted to sll that scent. He looked at
with concentration for a few minutes and then slowly removed my hands from his shirt and took a step backward.
"Sorry, I should not have asked about sothing without knowing its effect," he apologized and again went towards the bench, "and sorry for the scent. I did the best I could think at that ti," he said, and finally I understood what that scent was... {you should stay far from that scent until he accepts you, Aadhya.}
I nodded in disappointnt and took a long shaky breath. "I think I should go and sleep now" I didn’t want it to sound so sad, but it ca up like that, and he suddenly shouted, "noooo."
I stopped and looked at him in confusion "we should talk more," he said, getting a little embarrassed. I didn’t know what to reply, so I nodded and sat on the bench again.
"Why do you act rough and tough in front of others?" I asked him, and he took a long deep breath, but before he complained about my questions, I cut him off, "you can’t complain. You are the one who suggested talking on the first note," I told him pointedly, and he smiled.
"I don’t like to talk much, but it’s not like I don’t talk at all," he said, and I looked at him in confusion.
"Then why were Layla, Matt, and others so serious around you," I asked him, and he shrugged.
"Because I am not close with them. I am their Alpha, and they respect , that’s it," he explained, and I rolled my eyes.
"Then why are you talking with ?" I asked him, and he smiled.
"Because you are constantly asking
sothing. I accept that I am not a very good person to talk with, but if soone questions
about sothing, then I surely give answers," he explained.
"That’s rude," I pointed, and he chuckled.
"Well, that’s ," he said, and I smiled unknowingly. "Why are you smiling?" he asked, and I cocked my eyebrow towards him.
"It seems like you are getting infected from my disease of asking questions," I teased him, and he rolled his eyes.
"Then have so manners like
and give
an answer," he said, and I chuckled.
"You know you are so uptight and cut off from the people, but still, you have a great fan following between girls here," I told him, and he made a weird face... {It feels good to tease him}
"Don’t even talk about that," he said in irritation. "I am sick of people trying to impress ," he said and took a deep breath. Suddenly a few creases appeared on his forehead. He completely turned towards

like normal people? Maybe I was thinking all wrong till now, you tell

I looked away from him but couldn’t stop myself from comparing my condition with him. We are alike in this matter. I hated the fact that people treated
differently because I wanted to be one of them, and from this perspective, I can understand that it is the sa he wanted.
"We can’t make people think what we want, alpha," I said and looked at him. He is looking at
with expectations, like I will answer all his questions. I put my hand on his and smiled at him, "but we can change the way of our thinking," I said to him. For a few minutes, he kept looking at
without blinking, but after a few minutes, I beca a little awkward and turned my gaze from him.
"Thank you" suddenly, I heard his voice and looked at him in confusion, but he was looking in front "it feels good to have soone to talk with," he added, and I smiled.
"You have a lot of people whom you can talk with," I told him, and he shook his head.

"Who said I don’t have an ulterior motive?" I asked him innocently, and he looked at
with a smile. "I was planning to seduce and kidnap you, then I will auction you between all the she-wolves in this whole world, and finally, I will beco rich. What a great businesswoman I am," I said dramatically, and he laughed out loud.
"That’s a good plan, I must say," he complinted in between, and both of us broke into laughter, and I don’t know for how long both of us kept laughing there like madn.
Suddenly he stopped and gestured to
to stop. I beca attentive, and I tried to listen to the sounds nearby. "I think Dee got up," he said and looked towards the window of our room.
"Addy," I heard Dee’s sleepy voice, and I got up from my place.
"I need to go, alpha," I told him, but he seed to be a little hesitant about this. "What?" I asked him in a hurry.
"Take my contact number. Call
if you need any help" I extended my cell to him without thinking. He typed his number and gave my mobile back to . "You are not going to hesitate to call , are you?" he asked, and I smirked.
"What do you think?" I said to him and walked towards the hostel entrance. When I was closing the door, I turned and found him smiling at . I waved my hand and finally walked to my room. Dee was sitting on the bed while holding Pappy and was looking around like a zombie.
"Did you have a bad dream, dee?" I walked toward him, sat on the bed, and turned on the lights.
"Naa... I think I slept too much already," he told , and I smiled at him. "Where were you?" he asked , and an unknown smile ca on my face.
"I was outside talking with alpha" as soon as I told him, he beca attentive.
"Did he co here? Is he still here?" He asked in excitent and ran towards the window. As soon as he looked downwards, a huge smile ca on his face...{it seed like he was still standing there} ... I also walked behind him, and instantly my eyes t with his "Are you not coming upstairs?" Dee asked him and Alpha looked at
then shook his head.
"I need to sleep, champ, but we will et tomorrow," he told Dee gently, and Dee nodded.
"I will wait for you, alpha... good night," Dee said, and Alpha waved at him. Then he looked at
’good night, have pleasant dreams,’ he mouthed, and again I smiled. I nodded, and finally, he turned towards his house and walked away. I kept looking at him until he stepped inside his ho... {I think I should accept him} ...
I felt soone touch my hand, so I looked down and found Dee looking at
with a smile. "I like him," he told
and again went to bed "sleep addy, we both have to go to my new school tomorrow" I nodded to his statent and joined him on the bed.
The next day I woke up at five out of habit. I was craving a long run, but I didn’t know whether that would be good or not, so I stayed in bed for around half an hour, but then I gave up and stood from the bed. I went to the bathroom, and as soon as my eyes landed on the mirror, I rembered the peaceful face of Alpha that I had seen yesterday. {Why did the moon goddess pair us? Do I also have sothing in ?} ... I looked at the mirror closely and tried to find sothing... {she should have made
a little more beautiful so that I could look like a match to the alpha king himself. Does he find
attractive?} ... I asked myself, and suddenly I rembered his complint about my hair. I removed the clip from my hair and combed them. {Do I look good with my hair down?}
"What the hell are you thinking, Aadhya? There is no need to think about whether he finds
attractive or not. I am beautiful, and that’s it," I told myself, but my eyes got stuck on the mirror again. I groaned in irritation "goddddd, why do you have to make him so handso?" Finally, I did my chores and ca out of the bathroom.
I looked at the clock, which showed six am. Dee was still sleeping, so I went towards the window and took a long deep breath. The air was fresh, and the scent of woods was doing its work to calm . I stood there for a few minutes with closed eyes when suddenly I heard soone knocking on our door. I walked towards the door and looked through the peephole, and found Alpha standing there. The first thought that ca to my mind was ... {am I looking alright?} ... I rolled my eyes at myself and opened the door.
"Good morning, Alpha," I greeted him, but he pushed his way inside the room and closed the door behind him. He leaned on the door and took a deep breath... {it seems like he made the morning good for a few she-wolves)
"Good morning, Aadhya" he opened his eyes and finally looked at . For a few minutes, a dazed expression crossed his face, and he took a sharp intake of breath and gulped, "well, you look more beautiful when your hairs are wet and down " as soon as I heard that, I didn’t know what to say. Yeah, I was very conscious of my looks before, but now when he is complinting , I don’t know what to say.
Before the atmosphere turned more awkward between us, he shook his head and mumbled to himself, "I think I really have to change the place of your stay. These girls look at
like I am their next al," which made
smile automatically.
"Do you seriously think you are going to co here this often?" I asked him, but he ignored my question and looked at Dee "we need to wake him up," he told , and I took a deep breath.
"Dee, sweetheart, wake up" I went to his bed, but he didn’t even stir a little "god, why do I have to do this every morning?" I said to no one.
"Because you love , addy," Dee said in his sleepy voice and put his head on my lap "just five minutes more," he said in a similar voice, and I couldn’t help but pat his head softly.
"Well, I cooked breakfast for all three of us," Alpha said and placed a Tupperware box on the table. I nodded, and after a lot of Dee’s drama, he finally got up and had a quick bath, after which we ate the pancakes.
"Umm, I still can’t believe you cooked these," I told him while eating the last bite, and he got up from his seat.
"We should go now," he told us, and I looked at Dee, who was still eating his breakfast.
"We have to wait a little while, but if you have so other work, then it’s alright Alpha. Just send the location of that school on my phone, and I will take care of this matter," I told him, and he shook his head negatively.
"I can wait," he said and again took his seat. I couldn’t stop smiling. While dee finished his breakfast, I took the needed docunts from Dee’s bags... and after fifteen minutes, finally, we were ready to go.
Again, the sa scenario happened as yesterday, all the girls are shalessly trying to grab his attention, but he is completely ignoring them and is talking with dee as if they don’t even exist. When we exited the hostel, he took a deep relieving breath. "Is it far?" I asked him.
"Not much, maximum twenty minutes by car."
"Cool," I answered, and we walked towards his house.
"Are they going to ask
questions?" suddenly Dee asked us, and I looked at him closely. He is looking nervous... {damn, I should have talked about it with him}
"No need to get scared, dee. I will be with you there," I told him, and he looked at .
"But what if I don’t know the answer?" Dee asked, and I smiled at him.
"Then they will teach you those things so you can answer next ti. We are going there so that they can teach you everything that is needed," I told him, and when he looked a little normal, I added, "and they are going to ask questions to
also, so we are together in this" as soon as he heard that he nodded and took my hand in his.
"We will do good," he said with a smile, and we walked towards the car that was parked in front of his house. As we were about to sit in the car, another car ca toward Alpha’s place, and I looked at him. He has stern expressions on his face, but I can see the creases of confusion on his forehead.
The car stopped in front of Alpha’s house, and slowly a beautiful girl ca out of it. As soon as she looked at Alpha, her eyes welled up with tears, and she ran toward him. At first, all my instincts beca active, and I beca cautious, but as soon as she reached near him, she hugged him tightly and started sobbing, "I can’t live without you, Ryan. I love you."
