Chapter 16: Chapter 16 - Pudding
I don’t have to be told twice when it is about dee. I got up from my place and ran out of the orphanage to the pups’ training ground, where Beth was waiting for .
"Alpha called him in his office, but he got up and ran towards woods in between." I turned towards the woods and was about to walk away when she added, "Ethan went behind him" I didn’t have ti even to curse the situation, so I walked to the first place that ca to my mind and seed like my luck is with
today because I found him on the very first place..{he ran at the lake}... but as soon I saw his condition all the other thoughts fled from my mind.
He is standing there glaring at Ethan, but what worried
most was that he was not looking normal at all. He is breathing heavily, his fists are clenched, and his little body is trembling. When I noticed his eyes, I gasped as I finally realized what was happening. His eyes have turned hazel in color and are glowing, which ans his wolf is taking control for the first ti. I heard a few steps running towards us, and from their scent, I knew they were Stella, Sam, and max. I ran towards both of them and stood between Dee and Ethan.
"Go away," I shouted at Ethan while my eyes were fixed on dee. Maybe he has taken into account the urgency of the situation because I didn’t have to ask him twice to do so. Dee’s eyes followed his movents as long as he was in sight. After it, he looked at

with concentration, and slowly his eyes turned back to his normal grey ones, and tears welled up in his eyes. He jumped in my embrace with so much force that I stumbled and fell to the ground with him hugging
for his dear life. He cried harder than ever and is still trembling. I have not known him for a long ti but have never seen him this scared in these three months... {I need to do sothing. Today, I was able to handle the situation, but what if the situation had gotten out of control? I can’t let anything happen to dee}
I got up from the ground with Dee in my arms. His crying had turned into hiccups, and he was still clutching
like a koala. I don’t need to ask him anything as I already know what will be the best for him. I turned and walked towards the pack house while his head was hidden in the crook of my neck, and my hair shielded his view. I knocked on the alpha’s office door and heard a ’co in’ from another side. I went inside the room and found alpha Aiden, Luna Olivia, Ethan, and alpha king sitting there. While Alpha and Luna were looking disappointed, the alpha king looked mad. I didn’t even glance at Ethan and directly looked at alpha Aiden. He opened his mouth to say sothing, but I shook my head negatively, and he closed his mouth.
I turned towards the alpha king. "Dee will join alpha training in your pack, alpha," I said to him, and he nodded, but what made my blood boil was Ethan’s ’haaa’ that escaped his mouth on my statent. All three, except Dee and , glared at him. I felt the hold of Dee getting tighter around , and I rubbed his back, then turned towards alpha Aiden.
"Mate ball is over, alpha. I think now, I can exit this pack" as soon as I said that, alpha and Luna both looked nervous, and the alpha king was just confused.
"But Aadhya, now you are a warrior of this pack. Others have started accepting you" before Luna says anything, I cut her off.
"That’s the truth, Luna, but their acceptance is of no value in my life now. My reasoning is still the sa as before. I was adamant about exiting before because Layla and matt were going to shift in the crescent moon pack... now I have a stronger reason than before. Dee is my family, and he needs
too. I can’t stay far from him" his face was hidden, but I knew he was listening to everything carefully. "I will shift to the human town nearest to the crescent moon pack," I told them about my decision, and I think that until now, you all should have understood the thick skull of Ethan.
"You can’t go anywhere," he said. "You are not a normal human. You can kill vampires and werewolves. If you go to live with humans, then there too, they will treat you as an outcast," he said, and I would have listened to his bullshit, but... well, today, I am not in the mood.
"Why do you care, Ethan?" I asked him, "Yesterday, many wolves found their mates, and I am guessing that a few would also have to leave this pack. Then why were you so fixated on ?" I told him, and he gulped and looked at others, but I didn’t give him ti to co up with an excuse.
"I think I paid off alpha’s debt when I fought with those wolves and vampires to protect the pack without thinking about my life. Now I have nullified your trump card of ’we are not doing charity here’" I waited for an answer from him and watched him struggling for a few minutes.
"Don’t behave like this, Alpha, or people will get the wrong ideas" I paused and gave him a pointed look, "and I am not going to deny the truth. Yeah, I am an outcast, but I am glad that I am true to myself" I turned my gaze from him to alpha and waited for anyone to say sothing. I knew from the look of Luna that she was now suspicious about Ethan and , but she didn’t ask or say anything.
"Do you really want it?" Alpha Aiden finally said, and I nodded in determination. He took hold of Luna in his hand, and I could feel Ethan’s uneasiness "I Alpha Aiden, along with my Luna, Olivia of blue moon pack, allow Aadhya brown to break her bonds with the Blue moon pack" as soon as they said that I felt like a string connected with my heart broke. I stumbled a little but took hold of the chair on the side and steadied myself.
Alpha and Luna are also breathing heavily, and they have clutched each other’s hands to calm themselves... {it was never easy to lose a mber of your pack}... after a few minutes, Luna looked at
"we did what you wanted, Aadhya, but rember that you are always welcod here" she said, and I nodded.
"Thank you, alpha, Luna," I bowed a little "I should go and pack my belongings now," I told them, and the alpha king also stood from his place and ca beside . I looked at him in confusion, but he was looking at dee.
"I have to have a little chat with him," he said, and I nodded.
"You can, but not now. I don’t think he would want to talk with anyone right now," I said as I felt Dee’s steady breaths... {he really needed to recharge his body after his wolf surfaced}... he nodded, and I exited the room. I was walking towards the orphanage when I heard footsteps coming toward , and as I was unable to sll anyone, I instantly knew that the alpha king was following us. He ca beside

but didn’t say anything. When we reached the orphanage, I opened the door and directly went towards Dee’s room, and he followed , but instead of entering the room, he stayed at the door while I put dee on the bed carefully and covered his body with a duvet.
"You can co inside and close the door behind you," I told him, and he did the said. After it, he stood a few steps away from us and was looking at Dee "you can sit, alpha," I told him, and again like a gentleman, he nodded and sat on the chair nearby.
"Don’t you want to know what made him so mad?" he asked , and I shook my head, and he cocked his eyebrow in confusion.
"I have heard that you have shifted in your wolf form at a very early age," instead of answering, I asked him a question, and he nodded.
"Our pack was attacked. I was seven then: I shifted in the middle of that attack."
"And your body was only able to survive early shift because you were a royal wolf," I said, and he nodded. "If I am not wrong, you are the only living werewolf who has shifted in age under ten," he nodded, and I sighed "his wolf was dominant when I found him today. His little body would never be able to survive the early shift, so if sothing had triggered his wolf, then it would be better if I should not know the reason behind it," I explained, "and I also think if he wanted
to know sothing than he will surely tell
himself" I said and got up from the bed and walked out of the room while alpha king followed . I walked into the kitchen and t Mrs. Davis, who was shocked to see the alpha king at the orphanage.
"Oh my," she gasped dramatically and gave him a low bow, "greetings, alpha king." I ignored her and started taking different ingredients from the cabinets. "Did my children have done sothing wrong, alpha?" she asked him in fear and suddenly smacked my head.
"Owwwww, what was that for?" I asked her in irritation while I could see that the alpha king was trying to hide his smile.
"What have you done?" she asked, and I rolled my eyes.
"Nothing, I just ca here to prepare pudding for dee" as soon as I told her, she forgot everything, and a few creases of concern appeared on her forehead... {she knew that I only make chocolate pudding when dee was extrely depressed.} ... "no need to get concerned. He is going to shift in the Crescent moon pack, so he was a little depressed" as soon as I said that, she nodded, and her usual smile fell. I rembered this expression very well. It is the sa expression she gave
when I shifted into the pack house. "He has to be trained, Mrs. Davis," I told her, and she nodded.
"I knew Aadhya, but I can’t help it. I don’t like when my children go away from " I wanted to tell her about
quitting this pack also, but I think that it is not a good ti for this... {she is bonded with
emotionally, that’s why she is not able to feel the snapped bond between the pack and } ... with a last bow to alpha she exited the kitchen dishearteningly, and I started my work.
He stayed in the kitchen while closely observing my movents. We talked about Dee, and he even helped with little things. When the pudding was ready, I put it in glass bowls and put it in the fridge, then both of us went towards Dee’s room, where we found him wide awake. A small smile ca on his face when he looked at , but as soon his eyes fell on the alpha king, he again beca serious. I went with him to bed, and the alpha king again took his place on the chair.
"I think we can be good friends, as you also like chocolates," he said to dee, and automatically a smile found its way to my face.
"You also like chocolates?" Dee asked him in excitent, and he nodded.
"That’s why I want to be friends with you. I have a lot of chocolates but no one to share with," he told him in full sincerity... and I rolled my eyes at his childish behavior.
"Addy also likes chocolates. Can we also take her with us?" Dee asked him... {this kid...}
"I will live nearby dee. You don’t have to take tension," I told him.
"I also wanted to talk about this, Aadhya’’ the alpha king said, and I looked at him in confusion "as I already knew, you have werewolf senses. I don’t think living in a human town without proper security is a good idea. I officially offer you to join the crescent moon pack" I opened my mouth to say sothing but closed it again as I didn’t know what to say.
"You can give trials if you want to join the warriors. I will make all the arrangents for your stay" he again stopped and waited for so response, but I was still in shock... {the alpha king is inviting
to join his pack}... "Diego has to live in the hostel, but if you join the pack, then you can et him on weekends and can ensure that he is fine" he again stopped, and when I didn’t say anything, he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly "Is it a yes?" He asked , but when Diego pinched , I realized this was not my imagination. The alpha king is really offering
to join his pack.
I looked at Dee, who was nodding in excitent, then at the alpha king, who was also waiting for my answer. I took a deep breath... "Are you sure that you wanted a human to join your pack?" I asked, and he nodded "there are many things about
that you don’t know. I can be bad for your pack," I told him, and he cocked an eyebrow.
"Don’t you think I am the alpha king for a reason, Aadhya?" he asked, and I looked downwards at my stupidity...{you should think before asking anything to the alpha king} ...
"I would like to join your pack then," I told him, and he nodded.
"We will do the needed when we reach the pack," he said, and both Dee and I nodded. After that, an awkward silence fell between us, but the alpha king was still sitting in the room. I got up from the chair.
"I will be back in a minute," I said to them, and Dee glared at . I went to the kitchen, took three bowls of pudding, and returned to Dee’s room. I gave one to Dee, and he accepted it with a huge smile on his face, then gave one to the alpha king, who took it carefully from my hand in a way in which our skins didn’t even touch each other. Then I took mine and again sat in my previous position.
After a few minutes, I asked alpha, "When are you planning to return alpha?" he raised his eyebrow " I have to pack both of our stuff," I explained.
"I have to take care of the matter with vampires first," he said, and I suddenly rembered sothing that was bothering .
"If you don’t mind, can I ask you a question?" I asked him, and after a few minutes, he nodded. "I have read and heard that vampires and werewolves are extrely sensitive to silver," I said, and he nodded, "and if a wound is given to them with a silver weapon, then that wound has to be cleaned first, only after that their natural healing starts working" he again nodded, and I scrunched my brows in confusion "When I was fighting I dig a silver claw in a vampires neck. Obviously, I was in pain at that ti, so I stabbed in the wrong angle and direction, but it was still a silver claw. I knew that the vampire was strong because, despite the silver, he pulled that claw with his hand out of his neck, but another vampire licked his wound, and with that, his wound healed" I told him the detail, "but how can that be possible?" I asked myself while the alpha king looked stiff with this information.
