Point-of-View: Luna Castillo/Astra

———————————————————————————

"Hey, this is boring...when do I get to burn up so real people again?" I sighed in boredom, as I blasted the inanimate targets, reducing them to ash.

"You aren’t yet ready for that, you still need more training, and even if you were ready, the way things are right now, Eden needs to keep a low profile," Replied Trevor, who was here monitoring my progress with my Pyro Skill.

Today’s the 5th of June, and it’s been about three weeks since I was brought to Eden. I’ve all but mastered Aura control and output control, and I’ve learnt a few Pyro Skill techniques too, but this is starting to get really boring...

"I think you’re misunderstanding , I’m not saying that I want to be sent on dangerous missions or whatever, in fact, I’d very much prefer not to. I’m just saying...couldn’t you, like, I don’t know, kidnap so random normal people and bring them to so that I can play with them?" I requested hopefully.

"I see no reason to take such a risk for such a stupid cause."

"Aw, co on, man! At least a couple of holess people?" I pleaded as I continued to try and convince him.

"Tch, the best I can do is stray animals, it’s too risky to kidnap people-...," He began to deny.

"Woah, woah, woah, do you think I’m so kind of monster!? Except for like, bugs and stuff, I don’t wanna hurt any animals! Sheesh, I’m not a complete psycho, you know. Co on, how about so people from, like, poverty-stricken third world countries? No one’s gonna notice if those kind of people disappear, and they’re probably better off dead anyway, instead of suffering and starving to death!" I pointed out.

"Your logic is disturbing and ssed up. And we’re not going all the way to so backwater country to kidnap so disease-ridden worms for you. Drop it and keep working on learning more Pyro Skill techniques...you’ll soon be made to focus more on physical training, hand to hand combat and such. Before that, try and master as many techniques as possible," He replied with a sigh, before as he left the room, "I’ll be back when it’s ti for you to return to your cell."

Ugh, I’m so bored. I an, don’t get wrong, I’m pretty happy that I’m learning to use superpower-like abilities that I can kill people with and all, but...I haven’t gotten to kill anyone since being brought here, or anything fun at all!

For fucks sake, I don’t even have a phone or laptop here! I practically lived on social dia before this, so this is really hard...a couple of days ago, they relented and gave us a bunch of random books and magazines and stuff...but nothing digital.

And we weren’t even allowed to choose which books. There were so random novels, so ta-Human history books and various other types of books. But here’s the thing...I don’t really read all that much to begin with.

And when I do, it’s usually on my phone. I don’t think I’ve ever read a physical copy of a book from start to finish by choice. To be fair, I did give it a try, but I just couldn’t focus or get into it. That Adelmira kid seems happy enough with the books she was given, and the slly fatass Osian has been obsessively requesting booze.

He’s been displaying withdrawal symptoms, so they’ve given him small bottles every now and then, but nowhere near the amount he’s been begging for...it’s pretty pathetic, really, and so disgusting. So people can be so repulsive, so much that I don’t even want to kill him. I feel like burning him would contaminate my flas.

I an, just imagine the sll. All that fat and sweat, and his pores are awful too, he has a ton of pimples, and I bet there’s several ripe pus pockets all over his body-...okay, I need to stop, I’m going to make myself puke at this rate.

I then snapped out of it as soone suddenly knocked on the door, before opening it and walking in, a familiar face. That orangish dark blonde hair, crimson eyes, and the dragon head tattoo on his left cheek...it’s the guy who brought to Eden...

"Hey, it’s been a couple of weeks or so, Miss Celebrity. How are you finding life here in Eden?" He inquired with a smirk.

"It’s funny you ask, because I just happened to be thinking about how much life here sucks. They could at least give a phone or sothing, you know," I responded with a grumble.

"Well, you could cause a lot of problems by doing sothing as simple as posting a selfie, and sothing like that probably wouldn’t trigger the Condition you’ve been inflicted with," He pointed out objectively.

"Tch, whatever," I muttered, as I shot a fireball at him.

He didn’t flinch, his smirk not even wavering before he teleported out of the way, before I felt a poke on the middle of my back, causing to freeze up.

"Not bad, your Aura is fully under control now...but you’ve still got a ways to go before you’re ready for real combat," He laughed, clearly trying to rile up.

"What did you co here for? Just here to annoy , uh...what’s your na again?"

"I’m pretty sure I told you my na when we t. Well, whatever, it’s Wrest Seizel," He responded indifferently.

Tch...I actually did rember his na, but I was hoping that acting like I didn’t would annoy him. I wanna hurt him so bad right now...

"Hey, why don’t you spar with for a bit? Training by myself like this is just so boring," I requested as I let out a bored sigh.

"Well, I don’t mind or anything, but I wouldn’t advise it...you’ll get your ass kicked," He warned with a cocky smirk.

He’s probably right about that, as much as I hate to admit it...

"Oh, you really think so? Then, by all ans, let prove you wrong," I challenged him, as I cracked my knuckles.

"Heh, alright, fine...but this’ll be no fun if I go all out. Okay, here’s your handicap...I won’t use my sword, and I’ll stick to punches to your torso. I’ll only use my Space Skill, other than that, it’ll be only punches, nothing else," He smirked in response, before adding, "We can start whenever, launch an attack at when you’re ready, that’ll be the signal to begin."

"You’re really taking lightly, aren’t you? Fine, I’m going to make you regret that...take this!" I exclaid, as I blasted out a large fireball at him before racing across to my left, forming another-...

"Co, now, you’ve gotta do a lot better than that," He remarked with a dark smile, as he suddenly appeared right in front of , before punching in the chest, knocking the wind out of my and sending stumbling back.

"Ow...," I winced, as I felt a throbbing pain around the spot where he punched .

"Heh, I wonder how many other people can say that they’ve punched a celebrity in the boob?" He snickered in amusent, before teleporting to my right and jabbing my side at just below my ribcage, a sharp gasp of pain escaping my lips.

Damn it, I could barely even think about dodging when he suddenly showed up, he’s too fast.

"Shit, that really hurts...," I growled, as he teleported a few ters ahead with a look of amusent.

"So, wanna give up? I’m making sure not to break anything, but you’re gonna be pretty bruised and in a lot of pain by the ti I’m done if you keep going," He warned with a laugh.

There’s no way I can dodge his attacks in ti to counter, and he’ll just teleport away if I shoot a fireball at him.

"Hmph, give your best shot, asshole," I taunted him in response.

"Huh...well, alright then, I’ll give you so credit for not backing down, but it’s useless, all you’re gonna get is pain," He stated, as he suddenly appeared right in front of .

I let out a gasp of pain as his right fist slamd onto my midsection, my vision blurring slightly as I felt a wave of nausea, before I gritted my teeth and grabbed his arm before he could pull back, holding on tight.

Got him.

I t his gaze with a triumphant smirk, as a nervous look appeared in his eyes...

"H-hold on a sec-...ahhhh!" He began, before yelling in pain as I began burning his arm, his skin rapidly getting scorched.

Alright, now I’ll turn his arm into ash and-...suddenly, I found myself getting sent flying back and across to my left, crashing onto the wall and wincing in pain as my left shoulder slamd onto it, my entire body feeling numb.

His left fist was crackling with lightning...tch, he punched my right side, his fist infused with an Electro Skill technique. That attack stunned my body, I can’t move my limbs all that well.

"Tch, so close," I clicked my tongue, as I stood back up, a bit unsteadily.

"Shit, that realllllyyyyy hurt...any longer and my arm would probably be beyond healing. Not gonna lie, I’m kinda pissed off now...sorry, but I’m gonna take it out on y-...," He began with an icy, murderous smile.

"What is going on here!?" Suddenly ca Trevor’s voice, as the door swung open with a loud thud.

"Just a little sparring," I replied with a shrug.

"Yeah, what she said," Added Wrest, his gaze still fixed on .

"...sure it is. Doesn’t matter, it’s over. Damned idiots. Wrest was bad enough, I can’t handle double this shit...co along, both of you. Those injuries will leave permanent scars if you don’t get healed right away, Wrest," Sighed Trevor in exasperation.

"Tch...alright, fine. Hey, Miss Celebrity...one of these days, we’ll pick this up again," Remarked Wrest with a smirk.

"Fine by , and next ti, I’ll turn you to ash without any handicaps," I shot back.

"Challenge accepted, I-," He began.

"Yeah, no, that’s not gonna happen," Trevor interrupted us, as he let out another annoyed sigh while glaring as us indignantly...
