Sylas jumped down from the wall and dodged yet another water-condensed spear.

The mutated eagle followed Sylas and kept attacking him.

Seeing Sylas leaving the safe zone, Major Kyle and the others imdiately saw through Sylas’s intention.

All living things seed to have undergone a transformation after the rain, and they didn’t know what the outside world held.

"Sylas, it’s dangerous outside. Co back!" Major Kyle shouted.

"Don’t worry, I’ll be fine," Sylas hurriedly replied before leading the mutated eagle away from the safe zone.

Apart from luring the mutated eagle away from the safe zone, Sylas’s main objective was the energy stone. If he could get his hands on the water ability energy stone, he could add the water elent to his space. He wanted to see what kind of transformation the water ability energy stone would bring.

Sylas ran straight into the forest with the eagle still following and attacking him.

Suddenly, Sylas stopped and, with lightning-fast speed, jumped up and attacked the mutated eagle with his spatial blade.

The eagle let out a sharp screech and imdiately dodged, taken aback by Sylas’s sudden attack.

The mutated eagle managed to dodge the spatial blade, but its right wing was lightly grazed. A few of its feathers fell down, and the mutated eagle’s sharp eyes locked onto Sylas with killing intent.

Sylas wanted to quickly deal with the mutated eagle because he was in the forest, and he didn’t know what kind of dangers were hiding in the dark.

The mutated eagle’s sharp screech resounded through the forest as it attacked Sylas again, diving straight at him and, at the sa ti, using its water ability.

Sylas’s speed was remarkable, especially after leveling up. He dodged the eagle’s attack, leaving afterimages. When the eagle ca close to him, he imdiately jumped up and attacked it. Several spatial blades rushed toward the eagle, canceling its water attack, and headed straight for the mutated eagle.

The mutated eagle imdiately sensed the danger and wanted to flee but was too late. The spatial blades sliced off its wings, and it fell down. Before its body touched the ground, another spatial blade severed its head.

The mutated eagle finally landed on the ground, lifeless.

Sylas imdiately went toward its corpse and sliced open its head to take out the water ability energy stone. But before he could pick up the energy stone, he heard a rustling sound coming from behind him. Sensing sothing amiss, Sylas quickly picked up the stone and hurriedly dodged sideways.

Bang!

As soon as Sylas dodged, a small green vine shot out from nowhere and landed on the spot where Sylas had been standing.

Mutated plant!

Sylas imdiately thought of it and hurriedly got up.

The mutated plant swayed in the air, turned toward Sylas, and imdiately attacked him again.

No, to be exact, it headed straight toward Sylas’s hand where he was holding the water ability energy stone.

Knowing that the mutated plant’s main objective was the water ability energy stone, Sylas imdiately stored it inside his space and dodged the thin green vine.

Missing its target, the mutated plant hit a tree and imdiately turned toward Sylas again, but then it froze.

Since Sylas had already stored the water ability energy stone in his space, the mutated plant couldn’t sense it anymore. It stopped attacking and swayed in the air, trying to sense the water ability energy stone.

Plants needed water, and for them, the water ability energy stone was quite enticing.

Sylas had thought that the mutated plant would only want a plant ability energy stone, but seeing it fight for a water ability energy stone, Sylas made a new discovery.

But he didn’t know whether humans with plant abilities would be able to absorb a water energy stone.

If he could absorb all types of energy stones, what about others? Sylas didn’t know, and he had no intention of telling this information to others either.

The mutated plant, sensing the disappearance of the water ability energy stone, focused on Sylas and attacked him.

Sylas imdiately counterattacked with a spatial blade, cutting the green vine into multiple sections.

But soon, another vine erged from the forest and attacked Sylas. That wasn’t the end. Several vines shot out from the forest, trying to wrap around Sylas and drag him back to the main stalk. To a mutated plant, absorbing an awakened human was great nourishnt.

Several vines attempted to coil around Sylas’s limbs and body.

Using his spatial blade and space barrier, Sylas easily managed to defend against and attack the vines, but they were never-ending.

If this went on, he would be exhausted, and no one knew what kind of threat was lurking in the dark. Making up his mind, Sylas moved toward the direction from which the green vines were coming.

Nurous green vines shot out from the forest, continuously attacking him, but Sylas was not a pushover either. His spatial blade severed the vines as he advanced toward their source.

After so ti, Sylas finally saw the source. Despite the nurous vines attacking him, the main body of the mutated plant was small.

The surrounding area within a five-ter radius of the mutated plant was barren. It was as if sothing had sucked the vitality out of it.

After severing the vines attacking him, Sylas finally saw clearly what kind of plant it was. There were small white flowers on it, and it had glossy dark green oval leaves with smooth edges and pointed ends.

It was a Bleeding Heart Vine!

Sensing Sylas’s arrival, the mutated plant swayed wildly, and several thick vines the size of an arm shot toward him, even though its main body was like a small bush.

Sylas sent out a spatial blade, pivoted to avoid the other attacks, and quickly rushed toward the main body.

Although he didn’t have a fire ability, he was confident in dealing with the mutated plant.

Sensing Sylas close to it, the mutated plant shook violently and twisted its main body. The ground began to shake, and its roots started erging from the ground.
