Her left leg went up then spun around in a mini second and smack! It struck him hard on his chest, sending him flying and crashing on the walls of the do.

Bzzzz!

Aeric quickly got up, electrocuted by the lightning poles.

But before he could make out anything, three silver streaks appeared before him, getting closer with each streak. Then, in front of him once again was Daughter Luna and she barraged him with a flurry of attacks, her fist a blur of silver arcs.

Aeric's face was a canvas to her fists. She conjured her scythe once again and lifted it to strike him. It was then he quickly got himself, seeing the blade raised so high.

He created a red shield above him, and parried that attack desperately, his arms trembling under the force of her strikes.

Luna retracted the attack and struck at his midsection. Aeric blocked it with his sword. Sparks flew as their weapons collided again and again, the sound of tal against tal echoing in the enclosed space.

Just when he thought he was being defensive enough against her strikes. Luna struck him swiftly and invisibly in his neck region, causing him to recoil backwards and choke.

She then grabbed him by the collar and flung him all the way to the other side of the do.

"Ugh!" Aeric groaned as he collided with the shocking iron. Enjoy new tales from empire

Luna sent a blast of silver his way and he blocked it with a bigger shield which also scattered because he was too weak to maintain.

He started panting. His breath ca in ragged gasps.

When he found his feet again, Luna had already started advancing fast. They clashed, but every swing of his sword felt heavier, and the weight of Luna's relentless assault quickly began wearing him down.

Luna was completely different compared to Alzera and Delva. Unlike them, it felt like she was truly trying to kill Aeric, and that was when he understood that real life combat was much more different than training.

That Rank and Levels in this world was a power scaling that ant sothing. His pompousness was not going to save him here, and neither was his 200% Affinity for Divinity.

His movents were already too sluggish, but Luna, unlike him, she moved with never ending precision, her strikes were asured and they were rciless.

She was well mastered on long range attacks, which was how she kept hitting him no matter how far he went. And her speed! That speed was sothing he could not contend with.

'I can't keep this up much longer,' Aeric realized, his muscles screaming in protest. 'She's way... way too strong.'

He shifted his strategy, retreating to gain distance. Channeling his [Infuse] ability once more, he poured lightning into his blade. The weapon crackled with energy, arcs of electricity dancing along its edge.

Aeric swung the sword, releasing a bolt of lightning toward Luna.

Luna raised her scythe, creating a shimring silver shield that absorbed the attack. The divine energy rippled outward, dissipating the lightning with ease.

She smirked. "Summoning lightning at an Adept Level is impressive." Her eyes darkened. "But parlor tricks won't save you."

Silver light shone everywhere as she raged. "Aaarrrgghhh!"

Luna pressed her advantage, closing the distance between them once again with that her thunderous speed. She swung her scythe in a wide arc, forcing Aeric to block with his sword.

The impact nearly knocked the weapon from his hands. Luna followed up with a spinning kick, her boot connecting with Aeric's chest and sending him sprawling.

"I haven't even used my Skills!" she spat. "All I've beaten you with is strength and Divinity."

Aeric hit the ground hard, his vision swimming. He coughed, tasting blood. 'Get up,' he told himself. 'No, no, no,' he changed his mind. 'Don't tell yourself that. It already hurts everywhere. This was a damn bad idea!'

Pushing himself to his feet, Aeric switched tactics again. This ti, he infused his sword with ice, the blade glowing a pale blue.

He quickly charged at Luna, making his movents more deliberate than they had been earlier. He aid low, swiftly danced through the air and swept his blade toward her legs.

The icy edge caught Luna off guard, frost spreading across her armor as the blade made contact.

She stumbled slightly, but recovered quickly, her scythe swinging upward in a brutal counterattack.

The blade struck Aeric's side, the divine energy burning through his defenses. "Arggghttt!" He cried out, falling to one knee. "Ngh! Ngh!"

He tried to crawl but the wound was deep and painful, and he could already sense a shadow on top of it. It was Luna, she was towered over him, and her scythe was raised for the final blow.

"I will give you so complints," she said disdainfully. "You have an edge in tactics and you know how to formulate a move. But that is where it ends, as your delivery is not as concise as it should be. Your technique is unfurnished, and your speed, although comndable, is misplaced."

Aeric turned to look at her fully, seeing the satisfaction in her eye as she watched him lying there, helpless.

"Now I will bring an end to your hostile takeover of my family," Luna said silently, like a vow. "And the release of the Crest you have bound on my sister!"

The scythe raised high to strike.

"Luna, stop!" lina's voice cut through the tension like a knife. She rushed to the edge of the magical do, her hands pressed against its surface. "Please, don't do this!"

Luna hesitated, her scythe poised above Aeric's head. She turned to look at her sister, her expression showing her anger and confusion. "Stay out of this, lina. I have already told you to. He's poisoned our family. I'm doing what needs to be done."

lina shook her head, slamming on the do. "Stop this right now, Luna! I won't forgive you if you hurt him!"

Aeric, now kneeling, looked up at Luna, his eyes calm despite the situation. "Well?" he said, his voice hoarse. "What are you waiting for?"

Luna's grip on her scythe tightened, her body trembling with indecision. The room was silent, the Daughters watching in stunned anticipation.

For a mont, it seed as though Luna would strike. "Ngh!" she struggled with herself, staring into Aeric's face. "I must put an end to him!"

"What exactly are you doing, Luna?"

The Daughter stopped, then turned to look at Daughter Faeryn, who had now sohow breached into the fighting do.
