Tonight is the ti for us to face the Vampire King and see what his intention in approaching Cassau.
"There were no other vampires other than you guys before, right?" I asked Arin and the other vampires who are preparing to go.
"No. And you should know it best. They are hiding in a mountain quite far from the lake where I found their trace. When I saw them before, they were building a castle," Arin said.
"Do vampires need castle? Want to ask Albert to build one for you guys?" I asked Arin.
"No need to do that. I’m satisfied with what I have. And having a castle is just a pain in the ass to clean regularly," she said.
No wonder she never asked to build her a castle. I guess she experienced it from back then when I found her in the castle.
Though she can use Charm magic, right? I guess she just chard the male vampires to clean the castle. While the female vampires didn’t do anything.
"I like it better now. I’m closer with the other vampires and don’t have to be bothered by the male vampires," she said.
"Did they bother you before you chard them?" I asked.
"A lot. Just because I’m the Vampire Queen. Although a Vampire King and a Vampire Queen have similar status, they were treated differently. For a Vampire King, they were treated with fear and respect. For Vampire Queen, because of a rumor that any male vampire who can be the husband of the Vampire Queen will be automatically evolved into a Vampire King, I always have trouble with them. Though I have my charm magic, so I have easier ti," Arin explained.
That’s it? Because the male vampires wanted to automatically evolved into a Vampire King? And it was all just because of a rumor?
"You had it rough. Though I won’t pity you since you have a good life now drinking my blood whenever you can. So, are we going now?" I asked.
"Yes. What about you?" Arin asked .
"I won’t join you. I’ll just watch you guys from afar. It will be good if I can listen to what you’re talking directly. But they will find out that I’m a human right away. I’ll let Victoria stays with you so she can tell everything that happened there while I made sure that no one will escape if fight breaks out," I said.
Vampires can tell if I’m a human or not. So it will be impossible for to go there with Arin and the other vampires.
For this mission, we only bring the vampires. As for interrogation, once we put the Magic Restricting Collar on the vampires, I’ll take them to a facility near the Monsters Village where the centaurs can interrogate them freely.
"If you want to, I can do that to you. If I pour my blood from my fangs into your body when I pierce my fangs to your neck, you will be my subordinate. If I pour just a bit, you will only be a temporary subordinate instead of a permanent one. Then you can co with and act as my servant," Arin said.

"I think it’s best for to watch from afar. If the vampires were just bait to lure you guys to them, then soone must be watching over them from afar if that Vampire King is not soone’s familiar. It’s not because I don’t trust you. Sorry if I made you think that way," I apologized.
"I know. There’s no way that anyone will let drink their blood directly if they don’t trust . I also trust you. But if maybe there’s one day when you want to pretend as one of us, you already have an idea of what to do," Arin said with a smile.
She’s right. It also ans that if we need to pretend to pretend to be monsters, we can ask the vampires to use that ability to make us their temporary servants. But I don’t need to do that now.
"I’ll inform this to the others. Only if you don’t mind though," I said.
"I don’t mind. Though among all the kings I t, I only trust you. If you think that telling the others is fine, then I’ll trust your judgnt," Arin said.
Should I tell Albert or not? If it’s just Albert, then maybe it’s fine. Well, I know all the kings can be trusted.
And I know that despite telling them that the monsters can be trusted, they don’t believe 100 percent. These monsters were still wild monsters after all. If I told them about the vampire’s power to make human as their servants, they will be skeptical about it. Afraid that we will be turned into servants permanently.
I’ll just tell this to Albert and the kings from the four countries. If there’s a need to reveal this information to the others in the future, I will be the one to tell them about this.
Now that the vampires were ready, they started to move. After watching them moving ahead of , I followed them from behind. Utilizing my Divine Vision so I can see even further than they can see. If I see anything suspicious, I can tell Victoria who was with Arin and they will stop.
After a while of running, I can finally see the mountain where the Vampire King was. And it’s really being under construction right now.
Are they enemies? I don’t think that they will be our ally in our first eting. And it’s easy to think of them as enemies right away.
Also, they must be targeting Arin once they see that the Vampire appearing before them was a Vampire Queen. Just because of a rumor. But if they believed those rumors, they will approach her. Maybe even forcefully.
Hmm... from all the simulation of what will happen next, I could only see the two sides fighting. There’s no peaceful way out of it at all.
Well, that can be taken care of later. Once they showed their hostility, Arin will try to charm all the male vampires. Though it will be a problem if there were female vampires. But that’s not really a big problem. I’m sure our vampires were stronger than their vampires.
Back then when I first t Arin, she noticed that I was watching her from afar. Similar to the feeling when I looked at a master level mage. So for this, I need to be careful since the Vampire King should be at that level.
Now I know where the castle was, there’s no need to follow Arin and the others. My job started now. Let’s check the surrounding area if there’s anyone watching.
So, all I need to do was to watch the entire mountain. Not a problem with my Divine Vision and my speed. Even more since I’m riding on Ray right now.
"It’s been a while since we’re together, Ray. Remind again how fast you are," I said to Ray.
And he accelerated to his max speed right away. Running around the mountain in less than a minute. And I have to say that this is a huge mountain. Though not as huge or tall as the Spirit Mountain.
"Seems like you have grown even faster. You keep on becoming more amazing each ti I ride you," I said to Ray who neighs happily.
I have checked the surrounding in the ti it took Ray to run around the mountain. And I found several suspicious individuals. None of them noticed that I was watching them, so they’re not master level mages.
Arin and the others were walking casually toward the castle, They haven’t reached there yet. I’ll use that ti to take care of these suspicious people then.
There were three people. And they’re all just weak mages. Interdiate or even beginner level mages. They’re just farrs and lumberjack from a nearby village who wanted to test their fortune.
I pretended to be a hunter, I am one though, and asked them what they’re here for. And they said that there’s a new rumor about a certain treasure in the mountain. Then I threatened them to go ho or I will kill them.
If my guess is correct, then the ones who created that rumor were the vampires. They were luring the villagers to the mountain so they can have fresh human blood.
If it’s just blood that they want, we can give them. That’s why I gave Arin so blood bags in case they can be persuaded. I just hope that the blood will still be there instead of being drunk by the vampires before they reached the castle.
That is possible since so of the blood bags contained my blood. And that is too tempting for them.
It’s fine though. Whatever the result, I have trusted Arin that she will make the best decision for any situation. Instead of my mission, this is more of her mission.
They’re there now. Let’s see if they can even et the Vampire King.
