It ans that he knew already of our strength. And how Veronica is here as well. As for Celestine, I did say that I didn’t know her other than what Veronica told . But the Archbishop must have told the Evil God that I probably knew Celestine and she’s with us as well.
Then there’s the werewolves and the serpents. And Cooldra as well. The Archbishop must have telling the Evil God about my strength and my familiars as well. Though I don’t know if the Evil God knew about what happened in the other battlefield.
Let’s see, he saw us jumping down the cliff. He might not be able to tell what monsters I have with that got transported with portal to where his familiars were. But his familiars could tell him about my familiars they were facing. So the Evil God must have known about my familiars by know.
Except for Victoria.
She’s a Black Sli. A type of Sli that the cult used to look for before so they could gain immortality sohow by fusing the Black Sli with their inner organ. Though the Professor has been captured, so I don’t know if they are still looking for the Black Sli or not.
Anyway, when the Archbishop was looking at us, he only saw Victoria in her armored human form riding on Ray. And he assud that Ray was my familiar, so it’s impossible to hide it by saying that Victoria got the horse on her own.
Anyway, it’s impossible that they recognized that Victoria was a Black Sli. So she’s our secret weapon.
Though that secret weapon is currently going wild in the valley killing as many master level mages as possible while riding a horse.
There’s no way that anyone will think that she’s a Black Sli.
And I conveyed it to Victoria herself through telepathy.
’I see. So I just need to be in this form while fighting here. I understand,’ Victoria replied.
’Are you doing fine over there?’ I asked.
’Yes. Angela is really strong even though she’s not master level yet. But Kayla and the others managed to kill a lot of them. Though we still have casualties,’ Victoria said.
’Graham. Crabbe. What about you guys?’ this ti, I asked the other two familiars of mine.
’I’m fine here. Just a bit tired, but we’re doing fine,’ Graham replied first.
’I found water source nearby with the help of the others so it beca easier for us to hold them back and let the others kill the enemies,’ Crabbe replied.
That’s great. Though in the end, we still need to capture the Archbishop first before I can go to other location.
Now, I have to make sure that the Evil God will think that I have used all my strength while fighting the Archbishop. But I need to hold back so when I et him, I have a chance to kill him right away.
The thing that I haven’t shown him yet was... what? I have showed him the gun in the valley. But I made sure that at the ti, I put my hand inside my clothes and pretend that I took out my gun from there.
I guess that’s it. The only thing I really have to keep as secret is Victoria’s ability to shapeshift and to make clones of herself. In the end, it’s just Victoria whom I have to kept as secret. Maybe Ray’s ability to lend magic and Aura as well. I’m sure that they haven’t realized it yet.
Next is... I’m sure that the Archbishop is thinking that I can only open up portals to where my monsters are or the last place I went to in Monsters World. And I made him think that I have a base filled with my tad monsters there. They must be thinking that I’m a tar now. But they won’t think that I can open up a portal to where the clone of my monster is.
I can even open a portal to Graham’s shadow clone. Though it’s best to just open a portal to where a Blobby is. Because Graham’s clones cost more mana while Victoria’s clones seem to not cost any mana at all.
As for my real strength as Aura user... I guess the Archbishop has seen a lot during this fight. A long-distance slash, and cutting through magic. He has seen it all. So the only choice I have after this would be to get even stronger before facing the Evil God.
As for my familiars other than Victoria, they have shown everything that they can do. So there’s no need to tell them to hold back.
While Shelia and Cooldra killed the mages around us, Veronica and I faced the Archbishop together. But he has a lot of fighting experience even with that staff. So it’s hard to win. But that goes for him as well.
"An Aura user and a traitor facing together. I don’t think it’s fair at all," the Archbishop said.
"Sorry, but are you trying to provoke ? Why don’t you try harder?"
Instead of getting provoked, I provoked him. Still, he was angry that I called his True God as Evil God. But he suddenly turned calm. The Evil God must be telling him sothing.
My way of fighting didn’t change at all. So I’m pretty sure that the Archbishop will think that I have shown him everything. And the Evil God will think that there’s no point in learning more about soon. So the Archbishop’s way of fighting will change soon and I should be able to exploit that mont to put the Magic Restricting Collar on him.
And I was right. He used his wind magic to push us back and lightning magic to make sure that we can’t get closer to him. Then when the thunderous sound of his lightning was over, he shouted a command from the Evil God to everyone here.
"With your life on the line, kill the Aura user!" the Archbishop shouted.
Did the Evil God just told the Archbishop that? He wanted the Archbishop to die for his sake?
All of a sudden, all the enemies who were busy with the others ignored everything and just cast their magic at . So even ca running toward and threw punches and kicks.
No one cares about Cooldra or Shelia anymore. Not even the other reinforcents. They just ca at like crazy. Including the Archbishop.
Now, it’s hard for to get to where he is. I shouldn’t have waited and just charged at him. This is why I shouldn’t be a strategist.
Even if I’m stronger, this much number is too much for . Even Shelia, Cooldra, Veronica, and the others were reluctant to cast their magic at . Because they were afraid that their magic will hit .
What should I do to capture the Archbishop while letting him inform the Evil God about my weakness that I will purposely see. And I know what to do even with how much risk there is.
With sword on my right hand, and the cane on my left, I killed anyone that co close. And I obviously wouldn’t be able to survive this unscathed. So I got more and more injuries as I get closer to the Archbishop.
I used soone’s body to block the Archbishop’s lightning magic. But I still got electrocuted. Though I just endure it.
And then when I got close to the Archbishop, it happened.
I thought that he will use lightning magic now that I’m close to him. But I was wrong. He used a powerful Wind Slash that cut even the bodies of his own allies near .
I dodged to the side, but there were still many people blocking . So it happened.
The Archbishop just cut my right hand. And the sword along with my right hand fall to the ground.
I just endured the pain and continued charging to the Archbishop when he was about to cast his lightning magic. As my cane about to hit him as I avoid the staff he used to block my attack, his lightning magic ca. But not to . It’s to the severed right hand of mine on the ground. making it impossible for or any doctor to reattach.
"Now, even the greatest doctor won’t be able to fix that hand. I just made you lose your dominant hand," the Archbishop smiled.
In anger, I struck the cane at him several more tis even though blood was gushing out of my right arm from the wrist. And he finally fainted.
At this ti, the others finally able to help as they broke through the enemies who were fighting . Only then did they realize that I lost my right hand.
"Ro—"
Veronica was about to shout my na, but I glared at her to not reveal my real na. And she understands.
"Roland! Your hand!"
...I’m Roland now? At least that’s not my real na.
"Take care of everything here. I will take this guy away and help Victoria and the others in the valley," I said.
Shelia and the others finally arrived to block the other mages from attacking . So I opened a portal there and entered it with the unconscious Archbishop.
To be safe, I opened a portal to Monsters World before opening another portal to Consenza where everyone greeted in horror as they saw clearly how I lost my hand.
"With the Magic Restricting Collar, he won’t be able to inform the Evil God about anything else from now. Take everything that you can from him," I said casually.
It’s not the ti for them to worry about . If the Evil God is sowhere in the valley, then Victoria and the others will be in trouble. I need to help them.
