Oh, this is new.
After a week of causing trouble and marked the place with Blobbies, there are so new people in the city. I haven’t t them before and I know not because I morized everyone’s face. But because they are stronger than other master level mages.
They are not at the level of the stage beyond master level yet. But they are not only stronger in magic compared to other master level mages here. They’re also good at handling weapons. They have Etherstone swords with them.
Although they tried to kill from afar, once I got closer to them, they would swing their swords before gaining so distance. They are difficult to handle.
But why are they here? If this place is not an important location for the cult, there’s no need to protect this base. After all, it has been a week since I’m here but they only send reinforcent now.
With summoners here or maybe just their familiars they can communicate here in the city, the cult mbers in other locations can learn about what happened here earlier. But they only send reinforcent today.
The most likely reason would be because of . Since the Aura user is here for a whole week, they think that I will stay here for much longer. So they are sending people to kill instead of for protecting the base.
So does it an that they have abandoned this base? I think that’s the case. Because even the stronger mages and fighters who are here are still not strong enough to kill . And there’s not even any new space mages coming here.
Over the last week, I also didn’t just kill the enemies. I tried my best to capture so of them for interrogation. Albert will take care of that part.
Now whether they will help us with telling us where their real main base is or not, they will still die in the end.
Today should be the last day I’m here. The Blobbies I placed in the city seem to be still hidden and not destroyed yet. So were destroyed and gone, but so still there attached to so object hidden from sight.
Then outside of the city, I also spread a lot of Blobbies. I checked just in case using portal and I can tell that close to the desert is where they can’t detect my portal. They won’t be able to sense my magic from that far. So next ti I ca here with reinforcents, we can give them a surprise attack. And next ti, we will kill everyone. Over a million people will be killed.
For now, I will fight for about one hour before returning back to Angela’s side. I have been gone for a week without contacting anyone other than Victoria. Even if I told Victoria to tell the others that I’m fine, they are still worried about .
I have been gone for much longer than a week before without contacting anyone. But those tis were when the Kings allowed to do sothing or that they have given the mission that made leave without contacting them. So it’s different.
Anyway, I’m going to kill as much as possible today. My goal is to kill and not to destroy any facility today so I don’t need to think about other things.
Even so, it’s hard to just kill everyone. Even if I slash horizontally using my long-distance slash attack, it’s not like it will reach everyone.
After killing so master level mages, they will stop. After breaking through so barriers, the attack will stop.
And the thing that made it harder is that everyone lives in different altitude. So even if I swing my swords horizontally while I’m on the ground, those who fly, those who are underground, and those who live in the tall building above the ground won’t die. Even if my slash cut the building, they still have so ti to sohow escape. Especially if they have the help of wind mages.
As I said many tis before, most of the master level mages in the cult are wind mages. So almost half of the population here can fly. I wonder why this is the most common elent and also seems to be the easiest to increase its level.
So even those who are not master level mages are most likely to still be able to fly. That’s why most of the buildings’ rooms in the higher floor are filled with people instead of the rooms in the lower floors.
Actually, I can cause total destruction here on my own. By opening a portal to the bottom of the sea. On the Blobbies I secured in the deepest area of the sea that I have been dived into.
Using that, I can even kill master level mages with the water pressure. But if I do that right now, it will be hard to do that again on the real main base of the cult. Because they will expect to use it.
Thinking about it, what about the summoners of the cult who has fish-type monsters as their familiars? They can get those monsters to the deepest part of the sea and open a portal there.
If they use that, then we can’t avoid it. It will be a total destruction.
Maybe they haven’t thought about it. So I won’t let them think about it by using it first when I know that there are still a lot of cult mbers out there.
That is my secret weapon. I won’t use it now.
So I kill and kill more enemies for a whole hour. And after a much longer than an hour passed, I decided that it’s ti to leave.
I couldn’t kill all the strong new reinforcents here. But that’s fine. Even our master level mages should be able to handle them without my help.
I tried to escape from the city. But their master level earth mages worked together and raise the earth to even be higher than the tallest building here. They’re going to cover the entire city with the earth.
But they keep forgetting that I’m a summoner. So for the first ti, I actually opened a portal right in front of them not to lure the monsters from nearby to this place like how I did it the previous several tis. But to leave. So this portal doesn’t connect to the island where Angela is trying to breakthrough.
After opening the portal, I turn around to those who are trying to kill . Using my fake voice thanks to air magic, I bid my farewell.
"See you next ti. Just like usual, I won’t tell you when I will return. But I will return. So please stay awake the whole ti for ."
Then I jump back to the portal and close it right before soone is aiming his lightning magic into the portal.
One week I have been there. I rested a few tis but the fatigue builds up. Now I’m going back to the island and will protect Angela.
I open a portal to the island and enter it to see that everyone is busy fighting. But there’s no human here other than those who are protecting Angela. Only monsters.
The location I am in is not close to where Angela is. So I walk there and I can see more and more people. They are not fighting as they are resting after fighting non-stop. They will fight again as soon as they wake up.
But for many people to be able to rest here, I guess there’s no monster that can co close to this place.
"Roy! You’re back!"
Oh, that’s the voice of my half-sister. I guess she’s the one who is worried about here the most.
She’s flying over here and gave a beautiful... dropkick. And I received it on my chest.
The pain is there but it’s not sothing I can endure. However, I don’t think that’s a proper way to greet soone in their reunion.
"Ugh. How’s it going?" I asked.
"Seems like soon Angela will reach master level. My guess is within this week. We just need to hold on a little longer," Kayla said. She’s in the sa shift as Shirley it seems.
A week, huh? It’s finally her ti to shine. She will be the most powerful mage in the world. Maybe she will be at the level where she can fight a mage beyond master level in a one on one battle.
"Then let’s endure it for a bit more. I also need to take a rest for a while. I couldn’t get a proper rest for a whole week," I said.
After talking with those who missed for a while, I walked to where Angela is still trying hard to reach master level.
"Hey, I’m back now. Sorry for leaving you before. But I’ll stay here from now until you reach master level. Don’t worry about your safety and focus on breaking through. No one will be able to touch you when I’m here."
I don’t know if she can hear or not. But I felt guilty after telling her that I will protect her only for to leave for a whole week. So I just have to say it.
And then I lie next to her to rest. Since I’m here, the others will also be more relaxed since they can trust Angela’s protection to .
