After leaving the dungeon, since I was too lazy to continue the exploration, we decided to rest on a city nearby. It should be the city where the hunters from before ca from. I might et them again, but I don’t care.
I check the city and there’s nothing that looks like a lab for experinting on either humans or monsters. So I think this is not where Georgia was.
Georgia was originally from Monsters World. But we found her on Earth. Which ans that she was summoned to Earth. Which was why we think that the place she ntioned was on Earth. Because she said Varadis.
But that could be not the case at all. She might be tad and taken sowhere in Monsters World for experinting. Then after the experint, she was forced to go to Earth and get herself prisoned.
If I think about it, that jail where I saw a lot of other monsters seem to be where they put failed experint. Instead of just killing them or releasing them to the wild, they put them in prison. The reason? Probably so that the cult can use Georgia and other monsters for other experints.
That’s what everyone thought after we heard the clues from Georgia. But it could be wrong.
We can only hope that we will be able to find sothing with the clues she told us. If not, then our hope lies on Maya and Georgia herself. That Georgia can kill a lot more monsters and raise Maya’s summoning level until Georgia’s mind fully recovered.
But it’s hard. Because now Georgia needs to defeat a lot more monsters than before when Maya was still a beginner level summoner. And Maya’s other familiar is a panda. A panda whose claws has been shaved and now it has no combat power at all. So the rest is completely up to Georgia.
I wander around the city. It’s quite small, but there’s a hunter guild here. Though I don’t want to go there.
I’m tired of being looked down and seen as weak. But I can’t reveal that I’m an Aura user either.
If I go into a hunter guild and people saw , they will try to exploit . Maybe there will be another people who pretend to be mbers of my clan. Or they simply find a chance to kill . Then the guild master turned out to be corrupt and I got imprisoned for false accusation. It’s really a pain.
I thought that being a hunter was good. Defeating monsters and finding treasures. But it’s not like that anymore. It’s just full of bad people.
Maybe because in my past life, I look so weak and no one tried to bother . And after I gained Aura, everyone was busy with the war.
Now, the war is only a problem for the kingdoms. And we are also still strong enough that we don’t have the need to ask for reinforcent from hunters. Except for my clan.
Maybe from future battle, I will suggest the kings to ask reinforcent from hunters. Even if they are weak, they can still add our numbers.
And if we find that they have good personality, then the kingdoms can recruit so hunters. And if they can be trusted even more, I will bring them to Spirit Mountain until they reached master level. That would be great.
I’ll suggest it in the next eting. It should be tomorrow. And instead of getting Albert to check the hunters himself, we now have centaurs who can do it for us. We just need to get them to hear the hunters talk when we try to recruit them.
Alright, this city is clear. So after walking around, I left the city and return to Cassau to rest.
The next day, we’re having a eting in Varadis. Because it’s the kingdom that Georgia said in her clues.
Soone summarized all the new information about pyramids from the report that we have gathered from all over the continent. Either it’s from a pyramid that is close to the coast, to the pyramid sowhere else. Just everything about pyramid.
"These are the pyramids that have been investigated. And these are the more well-known ones but no one has investigated them yet," he said.
"We will get so people to check the ones we haven’t investigated yet. Get the ones near the coast or any body of water checked first," old man Henry suggested.
Oh, they are actually more efficient than . Isn’t it better if I just leave it to them?
"You alone can survey more areas than many of the agents combined even just by standing still. So you can’t stop now. Though I won’t deny that our soldiers might be able to find them earlier than you," Albert said when I spoke about my concern.
It’s better than boring days at ho. Even at ho, Kayla and the others prefer to go out and take quests. They desire to be at the stage beyond master level. Now that they are master level mages, they want to try every way possible to get even stronger.
Now I missed when they were not this enthusiastic in getting stronger.
As for , I don’t know how a summoner can reach the stage beyond master level. Do I have to let my familiars continue defeating monsters like before? Or maybe there’s another requirent.
For my air elent, I have given up on improving it early. It might take years until I reach master level even with the help of spirits. Simply because it’s originally not supposed to awaken. I was supposed to only have one elent. Not two.
"Then these are the locations of all mapped coast cities in the continent. So are cities near lakes. And then these are villages."
Next are the locations of all known coast cities in every country. Including even those smaller countries with just a few kiloters of coastline.
"Only less than half of them are near pyramids. Let’s investigate those places first," old man Henry said.
"Hey, I have so questions. Why haven’t we asked for the help of hunters yet? I an hunters who are not part of my clan."
And so I asked. And finally, everyone realized that they haven’t really thought of it.
"Right. Hunters usually go where most people normally wouldn’t go even if they’re weak. If they can share any information about anything they have found in their journey, we could have learned more. Let’s discuss how we should ask hunters to help us," Toni suggested.
"How about we simply get make official request to the guild? We’ll get so nobles to take care of it."
And the discussion goes on. Getting hunters to help us directly in battle might seem difficult at the mont. But if it’s just getting them to report sothing for a reward, then they should be willing to do it.
I know that there are so agents hiding and living as hunters. But why didn’t they suggest this?
Well, they’re mostly people who obey orders. Not people who suggested ideas to a king. So it’s no wonder that they never said this to anyone.
"Oh, and all agents and soldiers are... well, they are agents and soldiers. They are people who will obey your orders but they are not likely to suggest ideas or give opinions. So of them are acting as hunters, right? Then it’s just weird how no one ever suggested this idea. So how about you set up so kind of... whatever it is directly under the kings so those agents and soldiers can share their ideas. And they will select so good ones before they suggest it to the kings," I suggested.
"Oh, I was already thinking about that. Well, it’s not . It was actually William. We’re still working on it," old man Henry said.
"Consenza as well. We just got our first suggestion last week," Claudia said.
"Eh, we have one?" Lynn asked.
Yup. That’s very Lynn to not know about it. Though maybe she just forgets about it.
Anyway, the discussion progressed smoothly. We continue sharing ideas on how to get hunters and the guild to help us more.
This is not just a problem for kingdoms and their kings. It’s a problem for everyone living on Earth. So of course we should get everyone to help us.
Though about hearing suggestions from agents and soldiers, so are actually quite reluctant to do it. Including Albert. Because it seems like it will give power to agents and soldiers to change sothing about their kingdom.
For so, being a King is sothing absolute. Everything the King said is absolute. And the agents and soldiers are people who should obey the King no matter what. They are not like nobles who were given power. So for them to tell the King that they have sothing to say, for the King, it seems like they’re showing the King’s flaws instead.
I don’t think that’s the case for Albert. He doesn’t care about that. I’m sure he already has sothing else in mind. Though I won’t ask. It’s up to him to be what kind of King he is going to be.
