"Zhizhi, I’ll teach you." Shi Wei pulled her into his arms.

The curtains swayed with the breeze, stirring a ripple as radiant as water shimring in sunlight. Moonlight sneaked in softly, and the mottled shadows cast on the floor began to dance along.

After a while, the breeze dissipated, the curtains returned to their still form, and only the faint traces of moonlight remained scattered across the floor.

Yu Zhi pressed her lips tightly together, her eyes misted with a thin layer of moisture, like a clear spring luring one to drown in its depths.

Thinking back to what had just happened, she wanted to cover her face in embarrassnt, yet this man was maintaining an unruffled deanor, which sohow made her a little angry.

"Zhizhi, does it still hurt?" Shi Wei looked up at her, his hand still gently massaging her wrist.

Yu Zhi glared at him, then turned her head away, refusing to respond.

"Zhizhi?" Shi Wei suppressed the grin threatening to break loose, pinching her flushed cheek.

He adopted a pitiful and guilty expression, saying, "I was wrong. It won’t happen next ti."

Yu Zhi sneaked a glance at him, becoming slightly soft-hearted yet not willing to let him off so easily.

After much hesitation, she decided to punish Shi Wei: "Tonight, you’re sleeping by yourself."

No matter how scared he might get, she wouldn’t care.

Shi Wei’s eyes flickered briefly with surprise. Instead of agreeing imdiately, he straightened up abruptly and said, "The soup downstairs should be ready. I’ll go bring it up."

Before the words even left his mouth fully, he got up and left the master bedroom in haste without looking back.

As the sound of his footsteps faded away, Yu Zhi glanced toward the door, a faint smile curving her lips.

Overnight, rumors about the "Unlucky Star" in the school had completely disappeared.

After thoroughly reviewing all the school’s surveillance footage, Sun Xuei discovered the issue. Near every injured student, the sa girl had appeared each ti: Zhou Lu.

She kept Zhou Lu in the administrative office after school and talked to her for an hour, finally prying out the truth.

Zhou Lu confessed that jealousy drove her to orchestrate these incidents to harm Yu Zhi, taking all responsibility upon herself.

"Then Director Sun inford the principal and decided to expel her." Qin Huai took a sip of water to moisten her throat, her tone carrying a barely concealed schadenfreude.

"Hmm, I see." Yu Zhi leaned against the white wall, casually tapping her phone screen.

She didn’t appear surprised at all about Zhou Lu’s fate.

Qin Huai leaned closer to peek at the ga Yu Zhi was playing on her phone and pointed at a book. "Aren’t you going to study?"

"No need to." Cramming last-minute wasn’t her style.

Qin Huai silently raised a thumbs up. "Impressive." Indeed, her idol always stayed ahead.

If her idol was this outstanding, wouldn’t it be disgraceful not to follow in her footsteps?

Thinking so, Qin Huai imdiately opened her book and began studying earnestly.

After all, tomorrow would be the first monthly exam since returning to school after the National Day holidays, and most students besides al and bathroom breaks were buried in their textbooks in the classroom.

However, there were always so disrupting noises breaking the imrsive study atmosphere.

"Yu Zhi." Yu Xinman hurriedly walked into the classroom and went straight to the back row. Perhaps due to excessive excitent, her voice was several pitches higher than usual.

She placed both hands on the desk, towering over Yu Zhi, just about to speak when soone interrupted her.

"Classmate, this is Class Seven. Please leave." A male student sitting near the podium stood up, looking at Yu Xinman with an irritated expression.

Usually, he tolerated her occasional uninvited visits, but with exams nearing, her indifferent interruptions were too much.

His complaint sparked others in the classroom to voice their dissatisfaction. "Her voice practically scared to death!"

"I was so close to solving the problem when I was interrupted again."

" too. Truly exasperating."

"..."

Yu Xinman’s expression switched between green and white—truly a spectacle. She attributed all their annoyance to Yu Zhi, her resentnt deepening further.

"Dad wants you ho tonight." She spat out the words before storming off through the back door, a stark contrast from her earlier arrogant entrance.

"Little Zhi, are you going back?" Qin Huai leaned over, concern flickering in her gaze.

"Mm." Yu Zhi nodded, curling her lips into an ambiguous smile.

Judging from Yu Xinman’s earlier expression, she knew an unpleasant confrontation awaited her tonight.

"If they kick you out again, you can stay at my place." Qin Huai knew Yu Zhi had been living independently lately, which ultimately wasn’t very safe.

"No need, I live at my boyfriend’s place now." As she said this, a gentler expression appeared on her face.

Qin Huai: "..."

She stared at Yu Zhi, dumbfounded, scanning her up and down. "You’re already living together so soon?"

"Is there a problem?"

Qin Huai lowered her voice. "Did you guys... do that yet?"

"Do what?"

"You know... that!"

"Which ’that’?" Yu Zhi’s eyes carried a hint of confusion.

Qin Huai coughed softly, her cheeks flushing slightly. "I an..."

Unable to voice the words outright, she took out her phone and showed Yu Zhi a mosaic-censored ani clip.

Though the clip wasn’t explicit, it was suggestive enough for Yu Zhi to understand Qin Huai’s aning.

"You watch things like this?" Yu Zhi’s lashes quivered, her ears turning crimson as her mind flashed back to a rather blush-worthy scene from the night before.

Still, she concealed her emotions flawlessly, giving nothing away.

Qin Huai hastily clarified, "This isn’t that kind of ani. It just happens to include that part."

Yu Zhi softly acknowledged, quickly averting her gaze from the screen.

"So... have you two?" Qin Huai turned off the screen, brimming with curiosity.

"No."

"Ah, good then, good. I heard it hurts a lot."

Yu Zhi blinked, her curiosity piqued. "Hurts?"

She recalled an incident back in F Country with Ruan Yuan, when she accidentally caught her roommate watching such a movie. The female lead didn’t seem pained at all—quite the opposite, actually.

"It hurts a lot, let tell you..."

Perhaps due to watching too many ani shows, Qin Huai’s perspective was rather advanced. Though initially shy, once Yu Zhi understood her aning, it beca easier to discuss the topic.

"Little Zhi, if your boyfriend asked for that, would you agree?" Qin Huai propped herself on the desk, tilting her head to stare at her.

Her eyes practically brimd with gossip.

The question made Yu Zhi pause. She pressed her lips lightly. "I don’t know."
