Despite this, he still forced himself to say, "Do... whatever you want to !"

"Really?"

Shi Wei curled his lips, looking up towards the area behind the SUV with an inscrutable expression, "Hope you have fun tonight."

When several cars slowly drove in and a group of people appeared in the strong man's sight, he was truly scared.

Before coming here, he only knew that the person he was dealing with was simply a powerless and foolish businessman.

Businessn are all cowards afraid of death, he naively thought this task would be as simple as before.

But now, he realized how outrageously wrong he was.

The strong man's lips quivered a couple of tis, but in the end he said nothing, allowing those people to drag him and his comrades away.

After giving so instructions, Shi Wei walked over to Yu Zhi, looking her up and down, "Are you hurt?"

Even he didn't realize that, when he said this, the previously cold gleam in his eyes had already vanished, replaced by a gentle warmth.

"I'm fine."

As he examined her, she also noticed the large bruise on his wrist.

Yu Zhi instinctively took his hand gently, frowning, "Does it hurt?"

The warm sensation spread from his arm to his heart, making Shi Wei feel sowhat peculiar.

He lowered his eyes to look at the place she touched, a hint of sothing unusual flashed in his dark eyes, a glint shimring.

It seed like sothing had changed.

Shi Wei didn't reply, and Yu Zhi didn't pursue the question, she carefully checked his injury, and after confirming there was no fracture, she led him to the passenger seat.

She opened the car door and pointed to the seat, "You sit here, I'll drive."

By the ti Shi Wei snapped out of the brief 'hand-holding', he was already sitting in the passenger seat, and the car had been driving for quite a while.

As if he rembered sothing, he suddenly turned his head, "Do you have a license?"

"No."

Shi Wei: "..."

He raised an eyebrow, initially wanting her to stop on the roadside so he could drive, but seeing how confident she was, he ultimately didn't voice it.

As the route she took beca more and more familiar, Shi Wei's heartbeat also gradually sped up.

The pounding sound resounded like drums in his ears.

Originally sowhat uncertain, but after what just happened, he finally understood—

He was truly moved.

**

Shi Family.

Shi Wei sat on the sofa, staring intently at the girl busying herself with the dical kit.

Her head slightly lowered, her jade-like slender fingers appeared even more fair under the light.

After rummaging for quite a while, she finally took out a bottle of dicated wine.

Yu Zhi sat down close to him with the small bottle in hand, "Do you want to rub it yourself, or...?"

Shi Wei was stunned for a mont, slightly pursing his lips, taking the dicated wine from her.

Clumsily, he opened the cap, but it slipped from his grasp and rolled onto the carpet.

Even the brownish-yellow liquid spilled a little, staining the pristine white shirt, inexplicably eye-catching.

"Let do it." Yu Zhi said sowhat helplessly, handing him a few tissues from the table before taking the small bottle.

She poured so liquid into her hands, rubbed them together, then took hold of his injured spot, and began to rub it.

Her actions were very gentle, occasionally glancing up at his expression, as if worried about hurting him.

Shi Wei stared at the crown of her head, feeling as though he were lying on a cloud, light and airy.

Even the tips of his ears were turning red, like a ripe tomato.

"Feeling better?" Yu Zhi's movents gradually slowed.

"Yes."

"Okay."

Yu Zhi withdrew her hands, picked up the cap from the carpet, screwed it on, and placed it back in the dical kit.

The air was still filled with a faint scent of alcohol mixed with dicine, not overly pungent, but still sowhat unpleasant.

Worried it might bother her, Shi Wei quickly went behind her and turned on the air purifier on the shelf.

He poured her a glass of water, "I'm really sorry about today."

They originally planned to go to a movie, but after all the hassle, they hadn't made it, and she even had to drive him ho.

"It's fine," Yu Zhi didn't mind, sipping so water, she said earnestly, "You should probably have a bodyguard with you when you go out in the future."

In today's situation, if she hadn't been there, that one stick would have really hurt him.

"Yes, I know." Shi Wei nodded, at an angle she couldn't see, a subtle smile curled on his lips.

Finally, neither of them spoke, and the atmosphere beca a little silent.

Shi Wei leaned against the sofa back, legs casually crossed on the table, glancing at Yu Zhi from ti to ti out of the corner of his eye.

Seeing her relaxed deanor, with no sign of awkwardness or discomfort, his smile deepened.

He tried to find a topic, "You're pretty skilled, have you practiced before?"

"Yes, and you're not bad yourself." Since he already knew, Yu Zhi didn't hide it.

She casually scanned the living room, noticing now, for the first ti, how many good things were on this floor since her last visit.

Shi Wei followed her gaze, and when he realized she was looking at the Yixing teapots on the shelf, he shook his head with amusent.

As the saying goes, love is blind. Although he already knew her identity, he hadn't the slightest contempt.

Not only did he find her interesting, but he also wanted to explore why she did what she did.

"Recently, so business partners gave so antiques, would you like to see them?" Shi Wei asked deliberately.

With those words, he clearly saw Yu Zhi's eyes brighten.

"May I?"

She feigned composure, but the way her fingertips caressed the water cup betrayed her current emotions.

Shi Wei pretended not to notice her small gesture, lowering his legs from the table, standing up, and gesturing for her to follow.

This ti, he led her to the room next to his study, the one he had intentionally shown her last ti, saying there were treasures inside.

When the door opened and the top light illuminated the room, Yu Zhi stood frozen, staring at everything inside.

Right in front of her was an enormous pear wood shelf, each small compartnt filled to the brim with either porcelain or teapots.

Any one of these items could fetch millions on the market.

Yu Zhi quickly walked over, inspecting this, touching that, her eyes shining like stars in the night sky.

Shi Wei leaned casually against the wall, arms crossed, silently watching her profile.

Not saying a word, she was lost in the dazzling array of porcelain items.

No one knows how long he waited, until finally, Shi Wei couldn't resist stepping forward, grasping her wrist, and guiding her around the pear wood shelf towards the hidden room at the back.
