ng Han straightened her back and gracefully walked up to them. Her eyes were filled with admiration as she looked at the man. "I didn’t expect to et you here."

This voice, this person—everything about her made Shi Wei feel disgusted.

He frowned slightly, his cold gaze sweeping over her. His attitude, as usual, was filled with impatience. "Has the crisis at the ng Family been resolved?"

ng Han’s smile stiffened. "Brother Wei, what are you talking about? I don’t understand."

Of course, the pampered Miss ng Han, who spent her days playing and indulging in beauty treatnts, couldn’t possibly care about her family’s business.

Shi Wei let out a mocking laugh, shooting her a sympathetic glance, unwilling to spare even half a word more.

He buried his head into the young girl’s neck, deeply inhaling her scent to calm his irritated heart.

The man’s intimate gesture forced ng Han to finally turn her attention to the girl she had purposely ignored from the start.

When she saw that face, delicate and flawless in every detail, her grip on her handbag’s strap tightened.

Yet her expression remained composed—warm, yet tinged with an unyielding arrogance. "Brother Wei, is this young lady your sister?"

Yu Zhi’s mory instantly conjured up the unpleasant incident from the UM store last ti upon seeing this woman.

She raised her brow slightly, her crisp and clear voice carrying a hint of chill. "Do you have poor eyesight?"

"You..." ng Han glared at her angrily, but rembering that the man was listening nearby, she had no choice but to swallow her irritation.

Still, the jealousy in her eyes was thick enough to overflow.

"Should I send you to the hospital?" Yu Zhi smiled faintly, maintaining eye contact with her as the light in her almond-shaped eyes dulled bit by bit.

ng Han bit her lower lip hard, her face alternating between pale and flushed—it was quite a sight.

She called out to the man in an affected tone, "Brother Wei, can’t you control your sister?"

The exaggerated tone, paired with her constant emphasis on the word "sister," made Yu Zhi shiver in distaste.

She parted her lips slightly, intending to retort, but then recalled a scene from a Korean drama she had watched just a few days ago.

When she spoke again, the deep chill of rejection toward strangers had completely dissipated, and even her tone had shifted.

"Honey, are you just going to let this woman bully ?" The girl angrily pushed the man away, picking up a tissue to dab at nonexistent tears.

Shi Wei: "..."

In the instant he was pushed away, he was utterly stunned.

Shi Wei stared blankly at the little girl’s fragile appearance, his heart seemingly stopping for a mont. Without thinking, he started hugging and comforting her.

"Zhizhi, don’t cry. It’s my fault, okay?" He kissed her soft cheeks, his brows and eyes filled with imasurable guilt.

He had been planning to throw out that crazy woman earlier, but the little girl pinched his waist unexpectedly. Mistakenly assuming she wanted to play along, he kept silent. Who would’ve thought...

"You know I’m already pregnant, yet you still upset at a ti like this!" The girl broke free from his embrace, lowering her head as a wave of sadness washed over her.

She gently touched her slightly rounded belly, which was the result of overeating, and choked back tears. "Could it be... you don’t even want this child?"

Shi Wei: "??"

Since when did they have a child?

Before Shi Wei could think it through, his little girl grabbed the juice from the table, suddenly stood up, and directly poured it on ng Han’s face.

"Ah—"

Still enjoying the show, ng Han was completely caught off guard as the golden-yellow liquid splashed all over her. She let out a sharp scream, dropping her handbag on the floor.

Other custors in the store, drawn by the commotion, turned to look just as this happened.

Yu Zhi clutched her stomach, her fingers trembling as she pointed at ng Han, her eyes red, her face etched with sorrow. "You venomous snake of a woman! Since you couldn’t seduce my husband, you actually... tried to harm my unborn child!"

ng Han, suddenly accused, no longer cared about maintaining her elegance. She raised her voice. "What kind of nonsense are you spouting?! When did I ever harm your child?"

From the mont she entered, she had stood by the table all along, not even touching the hem of the other’s clothes.

Not to ntion, she didn’t even know there was a child, alright?

"Then where did the knife in your bag co from?" Yu Zhi’s frail figure swayed visibly, her hands never leaving her stomach.

To the onlookers, even if she seed delicate and on the verge of collapse, she was clearly using all her strength to protect the unborn child.
