"That.... Was not you,," I sighed.

Right now, we had sohow soway escape the train Shelly blew up in anger before regaining her sanity.

Good thing she did at the last minute, well, she didn't completely destroy the train just the private space we were inz not that I actually know if the trains were connected sohow.

"Shut up... It's your fault. I did sothing so evil, argh!" She scread between her knees and I was in the mood to try to lift her mood, ever had to race a train, yeah, don't try it.

"Sighs," I sighed again, then sat down int he ground.

I wasn't sure if we weren't still being followed. I had used a special protection relic I got from Selena when we jumped out that train. Staying was not an option as not only would we be band from coming to this section, we would have to pay for the damages done and I had a feeling it would run into hundreds of points.

Well, the good thing was that Shelly paid for that private section if we were in the public section we would have been caught instantly.

But still, the mont we jumped off the train I still saw so people jump after us.

Sighs.

We had been running like idiots for so long that my waist hurts. It's already night, damn it, there goes my plan of finding Ariana before she does sothing crazy.

Tsk.

BAM!

I threw a rock that smashed again the wall of the tunnel.

"W-what was that?!" I heard then turned to look at Shelly, she looked really frightened. Talk about a 360 degree change in character, one mont she was bat shit crazy, the next she's actually scared of he dark.

"It's just ," I replied with a sigh.

"No, not the stone idiot, that!" She pointed over my shoulder and I looked.

Darkness.

There was nothing there ,but now that she actually pointed in that direction for no reason, I was starting to feel a bit panicked.

Co to think of it.

Where exactly is his place?

I have never been here before.

I looked around.

A tunnel.

Train tracks.

Wait, could it be the sound she heard was just a train coming or rather.... The people chasing us?

"Shelly," I said, taking steps back.

She stop up slowly from the edge of the train tracks where she had originally sat.

"Yeah?" She replied.

I gulp.

Crap, this kind of situations reek of plot device.

Co to think of it, shelly's event has been evaded now that he exman didn't happen. But, she's still supposed to be a villainess much like myself, could it be an event will be forced to still turn her into the person she's ant to be?

"We have to run, now," I said to which she manifested a sword.

"You... You use a sword now?" I asked.

She was supposed to be a mage, well, until she beca a villainess and awaked a deeper affinity to lightning.

Wait.

Didn't she just use lightning on the train?

"Yeah," she said and slowly lightning sparks began spreading through the tal of the sword.

A srizing purple lightning.

But.

Sothing was weird with this.

I could see her face.

The lightning illuminated it.

Her hair was static.

Her face.

Wait.

That look.

"Drop the sword," I said wait utmost seriousness.

"Why?" She asked.

"Fine, just cease your mana flow for now," I said and the lightning faded.

I see.

That's why she was acting crazy.

That lightning.

It's not normal.

I think it's transforming her.

"PLEASE!" I heard then grabbed her into a huge and dove for the other side.

I senced it so fast.

Danger.

BOOM!

An explosive shockwave traveled through he tunnel and everything around trembled for a mont.

"What... Was that?" She asked, terrified.

That scream of pain.

It was frightening.

Sothing wrong is happening behind us, sothing I don't think I want to know about now.

"Riley," she muttered silently and I looked.

"What?"

"Can you let go?" She asked, sounding a bit shy.

It was now I actually realized how weird our position was.

"Coughs.... Sorry," I stop up quickly then gave her an outstretched hand to which she grabbed and I pulled her up.

"What do you think just happened?" She asked quietly.

".... I think soone just died," I whisper back to which I felt the shiver in her hands.

Damn.

She's really scared.

"Alvenda," I heard, and I began pulling her as we turned and began running.

The voice.

It was getting closer.

We had to run.

"My lord," I heard another voice probably the one called Alvenda.

"I sll fresh blood, bring them to ," I heard and my mind froze.

No.

"Vampires," I Shelly's trembling voice.

This darkness made everything worse.

Can't even tell if it's a high class vampire or a lower one.

Well, I did hear lord so that obviously ans I am fucked.

"Just keep running, don't look back," I reassured her, or rather, myself.

Vampires thrive in the dark after all.

We began running, running non stop but I could sense it.

Sothing was following from behind, it could catch up at any mont but it kept watching us. It felt like running was just futile. But we still kept running.

This is so ssed up.

Tap.

I tapped my ta watch trying to scroll for the closet contact I had.

"Yes," I tapped the mont I saw the ID.

[Calling Selena]

[Ding]

[Call could not connect]

Oh fucking co on!

"Shelly can you try calling soone?" I asked, hoping I was just the one having the problem.

"Already did," she said and she showed her watch.

[Call could not connect]

This confirms it.

I think we just walked ourselves into the biggest deepest shit in existence.

"I sll you," I heard and shelly's hand tightened around mine.

I am fucked.

I am so damn fucked.
