Aweso!
Hansen felt tonight’s ga was the most exhilarating one of the season!
And, it could be said, the one he was most wholeheartedly invested in.
Because whether or not he could stop Kobe’s shots, his "haters" points would surge.
So all he needed to do was focus on the tussle with Kobe, and he didn’t have to take care of anything else.
In the first quarter, Kobe scored 12 points but only made 4 out of 11 shots, furiously missing 7.
Last season, Hansen could only rely on wearing Kobe down, but after gaining the enhancent called "Steel Bones," he was able to limit Kobe’s performance.
Of course, more importantly, Hansen harvested over 20,000 "haters" points in that quarter, bringing his total to 1.86 million.
At this rate, he could exchange for the mid-range Talent before the ga even finished!
However, in the second quarter, Kobe seed to have transford.
Maybe Phil Jackson had reminded him, or perhaps after sitting off the court for a while, he realized Hansen’s intention, Kobe started playing a connecting role in the second quarter.
Binamu, who got more low-post one-on-one opportunities under the basket, and Artest, who had the ball more on the outside, both significantly improved from the first quarter.
A starving cal is still bigger than a horse, the Lakers, despite their poor form due to little change in the lineup, still had a solid foundation thanks to the consistency of the roster.
By halfti, the Grizzlies were leading 54 to 50.
The Grizzlies were still ahead, but their lead had been nibbled away.
However, more than the situation on the court, what was truly bothering Hansen at the mont was the stagnation of his "haters" points.
Because Kobe was not attacking much, Hansen’s "haters" points growth was extrely limited.
Earlier he had popped the champagne too soon, it was like he was possessed by East University’s national football team; he couldn’t even get a chance to shoot, let alone score.
Coming back from the halfti break, Hansen adjusted his mindset, and started trash-talking Kobe with higher intensity.
A leopard can’t change its spots; he really didn’t believe that Kobe could really turn into LeBron.
"Aren’t you worried about making it onto the all-ti bricking list, is that why you’re afraid to keep shooting?"
"They all say there’s a lot of fluff to your defense, and I have to emphasize, they are telling the truth."
"I haven’t seen what 4 A.M. in Los Angeles looks like, but I know what 4 A.M. in mphis is like, it’s nothing special."
"LeBron is a better player than you are."
"Shaq told , without him, you’re at best an Allen Iverson."
Finally, when Hansen ntioned O’Neal, Kobe’s expression changed, and he resud his one-on-one mode.
And by the looks of it, he wanted to devour Hansen whole.
Hansen felt a bit of regret.
Regretting that he hadn’t brought up O’Neal sooner.
Thinking about O’Neal’s digs at Kobe in Cleveland, he should have thought of this earlier.
The ga once again turned into a one-on-one between Kobe and Hansen.
Kobe’s movents were noticeably larger than before, and he was even using his elbows.
He had truly discarded the last bit of appreciation he had for Hansen, and was going all out.
Hansen, too, held nothing back; without the worry of injury, he could also go all out defensively.
And watching his "haters" points continue to increase, he beca more and more excited.
An intense battle of offense and defense, the fans at the venue were riveted, tonight’s ticket price was totally worth it!
The two battled from the third quarter straight into the fourth, with five minutes remaining in the ga, the Grizzlies were still leading 91 to 81.
Hansen’s strategy worked perfectly.
And his "haters" points had reached 1.89 million!
By now, Kobe had completely lost it, throwing concern for victory to the wind, he just wanted to beat Hansen.
His change of direction followed by an accelerated breakthrough.
"Smack!"
But after severe drains on his energy, his movents had slowed, and Hansen precisely stole the ball with a clean swipe.
After the steal, Hansen’s blood was boiling, his steps as if fueled by whirlwind wheels, blowing past all the Lakers and sprinting to the frontcourt.
Then, a powerful tomahawk slam dunk.
Landing, Hansen shook his signature number 77 jersey, the FedEx Forum had gone wild.
And at that mont, Hansen’s "haters" points broke through 1.9 million!
Possessed by the spirit of the Soccer King, Hansen stopped the ball, took a shot, score!
