Chapter 1519: Chapter 1519: Stand Up?
Zhuu Shu withdrew his hand that had been reaching out to Agul’s palm and took a deep breath. In the presence of the villagers of Green Mountain Village, he raised his right hand to his left chest, his voice trembling, “I, Zhuu Shu, hereby pledge my allegiance to this noble lord for all my life. My life shall be his, and should I betray him, may I be forever severed from this world.”
As Zhuu Shu’s words fell, the rules of heaven and earth descended, enveloping him and Beiting Huang within. When Zhuu Shu swore his oath, his eyes were fixed solely on Beiting Huang alone, even though he did not know Beiting Huang’s na, the rules still took effect.
Agul looked deeply at Zhuu Shu, now feeling sowhat satisfied with this “good-for-nothing”, but he couldn’t help thinking how lucky Zhuu Shu was to have t their master and to have been chosen by him.
“Agul, give him the dicinal pills. We have to hurry on our way!” Beiting Huang said indifferently. He was not short on people, although Agul and the others were not human—they were magical beasts with far greater strength than many humans and were extrely loyal to him, second to none.
Nevertheless, since Zhuu Shu wished to follow, then follow he shall!
After taking the dicinal pills, the pain beca excruciatingly prolonged. Every eye in the cave was fixed on Zhuu Shu as he grabbed two rocks beside him, forcing himself not to roll on the ground. Beads of sweat the size of soybeans burst forth on his forehead, his clothes soaked through. Only when he couldn’t bear it any longer would he cry out.

Many tender-hearted people couldn’t bear to watch and turned their heads away. Beiting Huang also slightly turned his head, not focusing his gaze on Zhuu Shu.
Seeing him endure such agony, Beiting Huang’s impression of the young man began to change. He had refined the treasure pill himself and knew better than anyone the imnse power of its dicinal effects, and the formidable energy it contained.
This treasure pill would expand Zhuu Shu’s entire ridian network, not only enabling him to stand on his legs but also having the effect of Marrow Cleansing.
Thus, after enduring such tornt, when Zhuu Shu finally stood up from the ground, his entire body was filthy and stank, resembling a mud man.
Beiting Huang had not anticipated that he could bear and survive such pain. Zhuu Shu had never stood up from childhood due to his blocked ridians, clogged with all sorts of acquired impurities, all of which were now forced out of his body by the pill’s efficacy. The thought of that pain made Beiting Huang shudder.
And Zhuu Shu, although he had withstood it, still hadn’t shaken off the shadows of pain when he rose from the ground. He was even unsure of where he was.
The atmosphere in the cave was tense, not only because Zhuu Shu had not yet co to his senses but also because the villagers seed lost and bewildered as well.
Was that it? One dicinal pill had allowed that frail youth, whose face bore not a trace of color, who couldn’t even sit or lie down by himself, to stand up?
This was all too miraculous, and everyone seed to be in a dream.
“Eww, it stinks!” Lingfeng, still a child, couldn’t stand the foul odor and cried out.
Whew!
Everyone exhaled heavily, snapping out of their deep shock. But as they ca to their senses, they found it even harder to believe their own eyes. Pinching their noses, they stared at Zhuu Shu with eyes filled with alarm.
Zhuu Shu looked down at his own body, as if he had just climbed out of a latrine. He lifted his arm to his nose, sniffed, and reflexively yelped, then dashed outside.
