Chapter 1407: Chapter 1407: Ancestral Stone
Fortunately, the valley ford by the Five Finger Mountain was not very large. After walking forward for about an hour, Beiting Huang saw a stone so black that it could swallow up everything. At that mont, a small head erged from his chest, peeking out from his clothes, a pair of purple eyes unblinkingly staring at the stone.
Feeling sothing new by his side, Agul’s head also lifted from where it lay on Beiting Huang’s wrist and directly t those purple eyes. In an instant, Agul shuddered. After receiving a warning glance from the purple eyes, Agul obediently lay back down, resuming the form of a bracelet.
The stone was about the size of a cubic ter and not too large. It seed that a layer of black flas was burning on the stone, causing mist to rise continuously from it. The density of the mist was so high that it condensed into droplets, forming a massive curtain of rain that perpetually enveloped the stone.
Beiting Huang circled around the stone and suddenly felt it was troubleso. He hurled several Divine Spirit Techniques at the stone, only to find that he couldn’t budge it in the slightest.
“It seems I can only try burning it with the Nine-Colored Nirvana Fire!” Beiting Huang thought to himself. He summoned a vast expanse of nine-colored flas to envelop the stone, and in an instant, the flas covered it with a layer. In less than a quarter of an hour, the black curtain of rain that had shrouded the stone for ten thousand years was completely evaporated, and it seed as if a streak of light pierced through the sky.
Seeing that the Nine-Colored Nirvana Fire was effective, Beiting Huang was overjoyed. But just then, a laugh echoed from his sea of consciousness, “Huang, the Nine-Colored Nirvana Fire can indeed burn this stone, but have you calculated how much energy it would consu?”
Beiting Huang was already drenched in sweat. Hearing the voice of Ming appear, he replied with involuntary joy, “Ming, you’re awake! Why did you wake up at this ti?”
“With you using the Nine-Colored Nirvana Fire on such a large scale, I couldn’t stay asleep even if I wanted to!” Ming’s voice continued to ring in Beiting Huang’s sea of consciousness, domineering and cool, yet carried an involuntary softness, “Huang, this stone is a treasure. Even though you can’t burn it all at once, don’t waste it. Aside from the dense Evil Energy it contains, there is also a lot of demonic energy and so spiritual qi. You can completely absorb it for your own use.”
At this point, Beiting Huang seed to see Ming shake his beautiful head as if he could see Ming’s forehead ornant, adorned with nine colors, also swaying. Then he heard Ming’s voice laced with sarcasm, “I never thought that Xi Feng, that fool, would leave such a fine treasure for you!”
“Ming, are you mistaken? What exactly is this wonderful treasure?” Beiting Huang was bemused, even calling it a treasure. It had killed so many powerful magical beasts, and yet Ming still claid it was a treasure.
“If I’m not mistaken, this should be an Ancestral Stone!” There was a hint of elation in Ming’s voice. Beiting Huang seed to see the smile in his sea of consciousness, “Huang, you should know that this world is not the only one in existence. This world was created by three Creation Gods. So, where did they co from?”
“That, I don’t know!” Although Beiting Huang was also curious about this, he knew that it was like on Earth where many children would ask, “Mommy, mommy, where did I co from?” And then, the mother would say, “Of course, you were born from .” The child would then follow up with, “Then where did mommy’s mommy co from?”
