“It’s the chief!”
“The chief is back!”
The loud shouts resounded across the wilderness surrounding the main road. The originally noisy Teng Jia Villagers instantly beca quiet. The clan mbers who had been eating and chatting all turned around and looked at the two figures.
“Brother and father?” Qingyu couldn’t believe what she was seeing, her eyes filled with astonishnt and joy.

She quickly got up, and without even wearing her shoes, ran barefooted towards Teng Qingshan and Teng Yongfan, shouting, “Brother Fan!” Joy and shock were seen on her face as tears started flowing from her eyes. With such an appearance, she ran to Teng Yongfan.
The armchair was placed down and Teng Yongfan just sat there, on the chair
“Brother Fan.”
“Lan.”
Teng Yongfan held his wife tightly. They were childhood friends, they’d been through storms together. Neither of them could leave the other.
“I thought...I thought you.....” Yuan Lan was crying furiously. She looked down towards Teng Yongfan’s leg and muttered, “Brother Fan, your leg.......”
“It’s good that I could escape with my life.” Teng Yongfan smiled and said, “Lan, I probably won’t be able to walk in the future.”
Yuan Lan’s face was covered in tears as she replied, “I will serve you in the future.”
Seeing this, Teng Qingshan breathed a sigh of relief. If father really had died, mother would have mourned everyday, and her body would have kept weakening until the day she died. However, father was back alive, and mother would have no desire to die now! Since mother had drunk the Scarlet Fruit Wine, her body was still in very good shape.

Good.” With this, he raised his head and drank all of the wine. Teng Yongfan was imdiately surprised as he asked, “What wine is this? It’s so strong!”
A hot energy spread throughout Teng Yongfan’s body at lightning speed...
His body, previously injured and weakened because of the excessive bleeding, was now being replenished rapidly, and even his physical qualities were speedily improving. Just one cup of the Scarlet Fruit Wine had healed half of Teng Yongfan’s wounds, and even increased his strength greatly.
“What wine is this?” Teng Yongfan widened his eyes. He was very surprised.
