Curiosity is often the beginning of falling in love with soone.

If she hadn't already had soone in her heart, perhaps she would have been captivated by the gentle dominance of this man.

But...

Thinking of that na buried deep in her heart, Mu Yiliang's eyes dimd.

Hadn't she already decided to forget him? Why does she keep thinking of him?

Mu Yiliang forcibly suppressed the bitterness in her heart.

She had already started a new life, she couldn't let that man disturb her peace anymore!

Thinking of this, she couldn't help but glance at the man beside her.

Although their marriage was just for show, having such a man as her husband, she wasn't losing out.

In the darkness of the night, Mu Yiliang smiled silently, moved Yan Sijue's hand from her waist, got out of bed, bathed, and got dressed.

After finishing all this, she gently pushed open the door and walked out.

At this mont, Yan Sijue on the bed opened his eyes. His eyes were clear, not at all like soone who had just woken up.

The sound of footsteps gradually faded away. Yan Sijue's lips curled slightly, his eyes shining brightly in the night.

******

The following day.

Mu Yiliang woke up and stretched comfortably.

When she returned from the hotel last night, she endured the soreness all over her body to put on makeup before she dared to sleep peacefully.

It was already past eight in the morning. She got up, washed up, then went downstairs to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for herself.

Once she had set the breakfast, she heard the sound of a car engine outside the door.

Mu Yiliang's eyes shifted, she put down what she was doing, and went out to greet him.

Yan Sijue was just coming out of the garage.

His steps were unhurried, his dark eyes unfocused, his expression calm and indifferent, as if he had just left a place of revelry, his exquisite features marked with a hint of worldly fatigue and decadence.

Yet he exuded a strange kind of sensuality and allure.

Mu Yiliang was montarily stunned.

She suddenly realized this man's energy was greater than she had imagined. No matter the setting, he could always project a unique aura and sense of nobility.

As if he was inherently different from the common crowd, even though his posture and expression carried no trace of affectation, he simply felt different.

Suddenly, Yan Sijue's gaze fell on her.

Mu Yiliang snapped back to reality, quickly lowering her head, trying to appear shy: "Good morning... you're back..."

"Hmm." Yan Sijue glanced at her, "There's no need to greet at the door next ti."

"I am your wife, this is what I should do," Mu Yiliang said excitedly.

The word "wife" seed to trigger sothing within him, his brow twitched slightly, but he said nothing.

Mu Yiliang gazed at him attentively: "Have you eaten? I just made breakfast... there's a fried egg and coffee, I noticed you had these yesterday... oh, and the coffee is Blue Mountain coffee..."

Yan Sijue suddenly paused, looked down at her.

Mu Yiliang quickly bowed her head: "I'm sorry, I talk too much."

"Did you get up in the morning and just start making breakfast?" he asked softly, the end of his sentence fading into the air. For so reason, Mu Yiliang suddenly rembered the scene of him closely pressed against her, talking to her last night.

She montarily lost focus, then nodded: "Anyway... I don't have much else to do..."

"Sorry I didn't co back last night." Yan Sijue looked at her cautious deanor, a hint of frustration bubbling up from his heart.
