Yan Sijue had just finished signing the last docunt when he heard her sudden confession. His right hand holding the pen paused slightly.

He glanced at her and suddenly smiled faintly, but his dark eyes held no warmth.

"Is that so." He lightly parted his thin lips, his voice incredibly calm.

Mu Yiliang’s eyelashes fluttered lightly!

She knew he didn’t believe her.

Because he knew the Yan Sijue she loved was not the sa as he is now!

So...

She once again thought of that possibility, her lips trembling fiercely!

The man suddenly let out a low laugh, put the docunt away, handed it to the master of ceremonies beside him, then extended his arms, and carried her, in her wedding dress, horizontally!

Mu Yiliang felt her entire body had gone numb. She leaned against his chest, instinctively wrapping her arms around his neck, her gaze seemingly out of focus.

The commotion at the scene seed far away from her.

The sunlight was as brilliant as ever, yet all of a sudden she found it dazzling and involuntarily closed her eyes.

Yan Sijue held her, walking step by step back to the manor.

The wedding ceremony had been completed by then, so no one questioned Yan Sijue’s actions, especially with the emcee covering up for it. Yet Xiao Qi and Jason felt sothing was amiss.

Xiaoze stood up, "I’m going to take a look."

"I’ll go with you!" Xiao Qi said decisively.

Jason imdiately stood up, shielding them as they left, fortunately, all eyes were still on the departing newlyweds, and no one noticed their departure.

...

Mu Yiliang could sense they were already far from the crowd.

She opened her eyes, still appearing confused.

"...Who are you really?" she suddenly asked weakly.

Yan Sijue did not stop his steps, and hearing her question, he let out a light laugh.

"What do you think?"

Mu Yiliang opened her mouth, she felt she must be crazy to have such an absurd thought.

After a long ti, she struggled to utter a sentence, "You... are him, but also not him."

The man’s eyes lowered slightly, staring at her face, his tone lazy, "Oh?"

Mu Yiliang thought she had gone numb, yet her eyes still moistened a little.

"Will he co back?"

He gave an indiscernible laugh, "Do I need to remind you again? Today is our wedding, you married , not him."

Tears slid down from the corners of her eyes.

Even though she had already confird this fact in her heart, hearing him admit it himself made her feel utterly shattered!

Suddenly, she struggled and jumped down from his arms, but the skirt was too cumberso; she lost her balance and rolled onto the ground.

Yan Sijue’s gaze was indifferent, folding his arms as he looked down at her.

Mu Yiliang propped herself up with her hands, looked up at him, and asked again, "Will he co back?"

Will the forr Yan Sijue co back?

The man’s eyes grew darker, he let out a light laugh, "If I say he will never co back, what do you plan to do?"

Hearing his words, her lips trembled lightly, her face turned even paler, with all light in her eyes seemingly extinguished.

Yan Sijue let out a self-mocking light laugh.

He didn’t look at her again, turned, and went upstairs.

His back was upright, cold, and aloof.

Mu Yiliang stared blankly at his back. Was it her illusion? Why did she feel that he looked so... lonely?

She felt her mind had turned into a ss, with too many emotions crashing against her chest, so heavy that she could hardly breathe.
