If Xin didn’t lie to her, then everything would make sense...
Perhaps noticing her hesitation, Xin continued, "I have a way to help you rember everything, but I won’t force you. It’s all up to your own choice. If you don’t want it, you can leave now."
Her smile carried a certain alluring confidence.
"Yiliang, this is the grand gift I offer you." Gu Qingqian stared blankly at her, "But whether to accept it is entirely up to you."
Mu Yiliang felt her blood boiling within her!
She was eager to recall the past, but knowing that Xin harbored ill intentions, she knew the purpose was definitely not to help her.
Soon she would be leaving with Yan Sijue for their wedding venue, the wedding itself was three days away, garnering worldwide attention... What would happen if sothing went wrong during this process?
If the past mories... were truly unbearable, would she... regret it?
She had once been unwavering in her determination, eager to recall the past, and firmly believed she wouldn’t change her mind. But now, with the opportunity right in front of her, she found herself hesitating.
Is recalling the past really a wise decision?
"Yiliang, are you scared?" Gu Qingqian laughed softly, a slight mockery in the smile, "If you don’t want this grand gift, there’s no need to force it."
Mu Yiliang pressed her lips tightly.
"Xin, from the mont you approached , you had so kind of ulterior motive, I don’t believe you." She finally spoke, her voice sowhat strained, "Who knows what you might do?"
Xin laughed, "What could I possibly do? Could I implant a new mory into your mind? This isn’t a sci-fi novel, you’re overthinking it."
Mu Yiliang lowered her eyes, struggling intensely inside.
The past, which she couldn’t uncover, held a fatal allure for her! She dread of knowing what exactly had transpired between her and Yan Sijue!
But thinking of the man’s inner fear and anxiety, she couldn’t help but feel tender-hearted. The past was past, did she really want to dredge it up again, causing more harm to both of them?
Yet, to let this opportunity slip, she was unwilling under any circumstances.
Xin raised her wrist to check the watch, "You have less than two hours before you need to leave, right? You don’t have much ti to consider."
Mu Yiliang fixed her gaze on her, "Xin, who are you exactly, and what is your relationship with Yan Sijue?"
Xin paused, her gaze turning sowhat obscure.
" and him? No relationship whatsoever..." she chuckled softly, "He never gave a kind face, I only got into Yan Mansion occasionally because I once saved his mother. So, I just happened to know about your past."
"Then why are you doing this? What do you gain from helping regain my mory?" Mu Yiliang stared at her intently.
"No benefit, just curiosity." Xin’s lips curled with a secretive smile, "Maybe it’s out of sympathy, not bearing to see you toyed with by him."
Mu Yiliang’s heart tightened sharply!
What happened between her and Yan Sijue was only known to the two of them; what right did outsiders have to judge!
Yet, if she rembered nothing, how could she make a judgnt?
