Manager Mu, newly appointed, was as busy as a dog on her first day!

To get familiar with the procedures and understand her tasks, she was so exhausted she almost coughed up blood!

Her forr colleagues seed to enjoy it, with a few mischievous male colleagues even egging her on, leaving Mu Yiliang sowhat amused and helpless.

She realized her first problem to solve was a change in attitude, hmm, she must assert the authority of a leader... she thought silently.

For the first ti ever, Mu Yiliang voluntarily stayed half an hour late at work.

Xiaoze ssaged her saying he’d already gone ho and she didn’t need to pick him up. Mu Yiliang thought it was thanks to Jason and didn’t give it much thought, tidying up and leaving the office.

But just as she stepped into the elevator, she unexpectedly saw Gu Qingqian!

He stood there with his arms crossed, a proud smile on his face, chin slightly raised.

"How’s it going?"

Mu Yiliang’s eyes imdiately sparkled with anger: "You did this on purpose!"

"This kind of good opportunity, others would beg for, not sure what you, this woman, are thinking." He snorted, "Although I’m no longer in the tech departnt, you can still co to if you run into problems, I’ll reluctantly help you out for old tis’ sake."

Mu Yiliang couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

She suddenly realized that when he’s not in his overdramatic mode, Young Master Gu is actually pretty cute.

He might have purposely waited here for her, pretending it was a coincidence, looking for a thank you.

"Sure, if I run into problems, you better cover for !" Mu Yiliang said unreservedly.

Gu Qingqian glanced at her: "Looks like you took the initiative to work late today?"

"All thanks to you!" She was a bit frustrated.

"Tsk, so ungrateful." He snorted.

Mu Yiliang recalled the rumors about FIS’s investnt and thought it necessary to offer him so comfort: "Um... are you okay?"

"What?" he responded impatiently.

"It’s just... everyone is saying the Crown Prince’s position is under threat..."

Gu Qingqian shot her a fierce glare!

After a while, he gritted his teeth and said: "I never planned to inherit my dad’s company, I’m just here learning temporarily, next year I’ll start my own business!"

"Wow, so ambitious!" Mu Yiliang was a bit surprised, didn’t expect this guy to have such drive, no wonder he wasn’t shaken by the news.

"If you’re willing to join , you’ll be a founding mber, how about it, want to consider it?" His tone was quite reluctant.

"Oh, I wouldn’t dare... if I start a business with you, I won’t even have ti to sleep, right?" She showed a horrified expression.

Gu Qingqian was so angry he choked.

Mu Yiliang couldn’t help but laugh: "But if I ever can’t make it soday, I’ll definitely co to you for refuge!"

With that, the elevator doors opened, and as she walked out, she waved farewell: "Bye, Young Master Gu! I need to rush ho to make dinner for my son!"

Gu Qingqian watched her back, suddenly showing a gentle smile.

It’s the first ti in his life he’d t a woman like her. She overturned all his perceptions of won, yet remained utterly charming.

In just over a month of interaction, she seed to have made him grow a lot too... no, he definitely wasn’t in love with being scolded by her, just reluctantly admitting that what she said made sense.

Mu Yiliang rushed ho, pushed the door open, and heard a clatter from the kitchen.

Surely, it must be her son cooking again!

She couldn’t help but feel guilty, quickly rushing to the kitchen, only to be dazzled by the sight of one big and one small figure both wearing aprons.
