He originally didn’t want to get involved, but...
"Little blind man, look what this is!"
"He can’t see it! I told you, he’s blind!"
After speaking, the group of people burst into laughter.
Blind?
He realized sothing and walked over there.
"What are you doing?" He feigned curiosity.
The tallest boy turned his head to look at him, with a surprised expression on his face.
Xiaoze had been wandering around here recently, and these boys had long noticed him, but perhaps due to Xiaoze’s intimidating presence, no one dared to provoke him.
Xiaoze was good-looking, with a stern deanor, appearing far more mature than his peers. They felt more of a mix of fear and curiosity towards him.
Seeing Xiaoze showing interest in their activities, the tall boy smiled, "Oh, it’s you. There’s a little blind man here, sitting and saying she’s looking at the scenery. Isn’t that funny?"
Xiaoze moved a little closer and indeed saw a small figure curled up in their midst.
It was actually a little girl!
Her hair was soft, draping over her shoulders. At this mont, she was squatting on the ground, hugging her knees, looking pitiful.
Her dress was a bit dirty too, possibly a result of being bullied by these boys.
When Xiaoze looked over, one of the boys, his face flushed, zipped up his pants, and only then did Xiaoze realize what they had been showing the girl.
A trace of anger appeared in his eyes! But he didn’t show it on his face.
"I just saw a fishing net by the river, was it you guys fishing?" He asked with only curiosity, "The net is almost full, if you don’t pull it up soon, the fish will escape, right?"
The boys exchanged glances and all showed expressions of delight!
"Yes, yes, we’ll go get them now!" They hurriedly ran over, forgetting all about the little blind man.
There indeed was a fishing net nearby, but it definitely wasn’t placed by those boys; there were so fishern living in the area, and it was obviously from them.
However, Xiaoze just saw those fishern nearby, and once the boys reached the net, they were bound to get a good beating.
He slowly walked up to the little girl, "Hey, where’s your ho? I’ll take you back."
The little girl heard his voice and slowly lifted her head.
Xiaoze was montarily taken aback.
This little girl was incredibly beautiful! Although Xiaoze’s idea of beauty was still quite vague, the girl’s appearance made a significant impact on him.
Moreover, those black and white eyes indeed had no focus.
Turns out she really is blind.
He sighed and bent down to take her hand, "Don’t be afraid, I won’t hurt you. It’s not safe for you to be here alone, let take you ho, okay?"
The little girl seed to want to pull her hand back, but Xiaoze held on with a little force, so she had to give up. She softly said, "Thank you, brother, I can find my way ho by myself."
"But what if those people co back to bully you?" Xiaoze frowned.
"They won’t hit ." She smiled slightly, "No matter what they say, I just pretend I didn’t hear. After all, I can’t see, so I’m not scared."
"Shouldn’t not being able to see make it scarier?" Xiaoze widened his eyes in curiosity.
He had never interacted with a blind person before, and he didn’t expect such a young girl to be so calm.
