Mu Yiliang thought of Nie Qing’s wall of collectibles, a chill running down his spine!
"Later, after the child was born, I worked hard to demonstrate my value, and only then did he let go, gradually relying on more and more." Su Yan sighed, "Unfortunately, that child was raised by Nie Qing and completely ruined."
"Is that why you hate Nie Qing so much?"
"I am indeed pleased to see him end up miserable, but I don’t hate him that much," Su Yan squinted her eyes, "After all, you can’t expect justice from a madman, can you? In fact, having you send him on his way was an act of rcy on my part."
As soon as she finished speaking, Yan Sijue shot her a cold glance, prompting Su Yan to quickly make an apologetic gesture.
"What I really want to tell you about is Wanwan."
Mu Yiliang was stunned: "Who is that?"
"My daughter."
"You have a daughter??"
"Apparently, Young Master Yan hasn’t told you. Everything I’ve done is for that girl," Su Yan smiled, "I can’t let her live under soone else’s threats like I did, so I have to make sure Nie Qing is dead, and the sooner the better. If Young Master Yan can sense Wanwan’s existence, Nie Qing will too, sooner or later. Once he finds out, it’ll be too late."
"When did you have a daughter?" Mu Yiliang still found it unbelievable.
"When I was driven out of the Yan Family by Old Sir Yan, I was lucky to survive." Her face showed a bit of pride, "I managed to fool Nie Qing; he also thought I was dead. So I found a secluded place to live and t Wanwan’s father, then gave birth to Wanwan."
"Then how did you end up back with Nie Qing?"
"Later, sothing happened that made realize that ordinary n can’t handle a woman like ," she smiled helplessly, "I was too naive. While he wouldn’t go as far as selling his wife for glory, if sothing happened, he couldn’t handle the consequences. So I left with Wanwan."
"Then you returned to Nie Qing?"
"What else could I do without going back? I left Wanwan in a normal household temporarily and returned. At least beside Nie Qing, I had power and money. In the entire Puritan, besides Nie Qing, I had the most influence. Unfortunately, when things went wrong, punishnt was inevitable, so I had to strike first."
Mu Yiliang thought for a mont: "Where is your daughter?"
Su Yan gave a charming smile: "Take a guess?"
Mu Yiliang frowned, and finally Yan Sijue spoke up: "Robert is taking care of her."
Mu Yiliang’s eyes widened! Finally recalling sothing Xiao Qi had once said!
Robert had suddenly gone into seclusion — it turns out to care for Su Yan’s daughter!
"He’s not doing it for ; he’s doing it for Wanwan," Su Yan’s face showed emotion, "For a mother like to have such a pure and kind child as Wanwan, it’s a wonder even to myself. The child probably takes after her father more."
"You’ve told so much to hope that I’ll take care of your daughter?" Mu Yiliang asked calmly.
Su Yan smiled: "I only wish that you wouldn’t harm her. If you need to vent, co at instead."
Mu Yiliang was angered: "That’s not true at all! You know very well that Yan Sijue wouldn’t harm your daughter! Your intentions must go beyond just that!"
Su Yan’s smile beca even more alluring: "That’s right, I hope to stir your compassion so that you won’t just spare Wanwan, but spare too."
"My compassion is useless to you," Mu Yiliang said, steeling his heart, "I don’t plan on getting revenge on you, but if Si Jue decides to deal with you, I won’t get in the way either."
