The next day, not long after Yan Sijue left, Mu Yiliang also went out, heading straight to First Hospital.

Upon seeing her arrival, a strange light flashed in i Suqin’s eyes. In contrast to i Suqin’s excitent, Mu Zheng showed a hint of guilt.

"Yiliang, you’re here."

Mu Yiliang nodded casually: "I’m here for the checkup. If it’s not a match, I hope you won’t bother again."

Mu Zheng was taken aback and nodded despondently.

"Don’t waste any ti! The doctor is already waiting for you!" i Suqin said impatiently.

"Wait a mont." Xin, who had been silent behind Mu Yiliang, finally spoke up, "I need to clear the area first."

After speaking, she waved her hand, and the bodyguards imdiately went into action, ensuring that no one else was in the examination room except for the doctors and nurses. Having done that, she personally accompanied Mu Yiliang inside for the checkup.

Mu Yiliang felt inexplicably touched: "Xin, you’re really good."

"It’s my duty." Xin remained expressionless.

Only one doctor and one nurse remained in the examination room. Xin stood by and watched as the nurse attempted to draw blood from Mu Yiliang. Perhaps intimidated by Xin’s presence, the nurse’s hands trembled a bit, and she failed twice, causing Mu Yiliang to frown in pain.

Xin shot her a look, and the nurse beca even more flustered.

"It’s alright, take your ti." Mu Yiliang gently reassured her.

The nurse gave her an apologetic smile, steadied herself, and stuck the needle in again; this ti, she succeeded. She placed the blood sample aside and approached Mu Yiliang again. As she passed by Xin, she seed to stumble and suddenly fell into Xin’s arms!

Xin instinctively felt sothing was wrong, and just as she applied force to her wrist, a wave of dizziness hit her! With her vast experience, she imdiately understood what happened, and with a forceful twist, she threw the nurse to the ground, but she too collapsed!

The incident happened in an instant. At first, Mu Yiliang thought Xin was tripped by the nurse, but within a second, she realized sothing!

But it was already too late!

The air was filled with the strong scent of propofol, and all she could do was glance in Xin’s direction before quickly losing consciousness.

...

First Hospital was shrouded in a heavy atmosphere! The doctors and nurses on this floor were being overseen by bodyguards, bewildered and indignant, yet no one dared to voice any objections!

Xin paced back and forth with a stern expression, and soon, hurried and chaotic footsteps echoed from one end of the corridor.

Yan Sijue had arrived!

His expression was grim, and the depths of his dark eyes seed to hold a millennium of icy coldness!

Even Xin could not et his gaze and bowed her head.

"Tell , what happened." The man spoke coolly, his hoarse voice seemingly struggling to suppress sothing.

"...I was by Lady Mu’s side, but the doctor and nurse were highly trained professionals in disguise, and I was no match for them. By the ti I regained consciousness, Lady Mu was already gone." Xin’s voice was strained, "I suspect this was a preditated attack, specifically targeting Lady Mu. The doctor and nurse who were examining her had been at First Hospital for at least a month, which is why I didn’t suspect anything while investigating."

"How long had it been when you ca to your senses?"

"Less than two minutes." Xin’s lips were slightly pale, "I’ve been trained in this aspect, and unless the sedative is of a certain concentration, I won’t easily succumb... When I ca to, I swiftly dispatched people to block all the hospital’s exits, conducted a thorough search, but found nothing."
