Mu Yiliang suddenly felt her ears getting a bit warm, and their manner of speaking seed overly ambiguous.

"It’s always been this way... you achieving all this has nothing to do with ..." After saying this, Mu Yiliang slightly turned her cheek, avoiding his sowhat intimate whisper.

"But I still have to thank you." The man left these words in her ear, then straightened up, smiling at the crowd. At this point, many people were eager to get close to him. Yan Sijue seed completely at ease with this, skillfully interacting with everyone.

Mu Yiliang was naturally overlooked, so out of boredom, she observed the people present.

On the other side, Old Sir Yan finished talking with Mu Yiliang’s parents, thus concluding the speech.

But the crowd still refused to leave, many trying to get to the front line to talk with Old Sir Yan.

If they could leave an impression on Old Sir Yan, just one word would make their business much easier.

The Old Man was surrounded by the crowd, and Mu Yiliang’s parents were also busy, receiving congratulations or flattery from everyone.

They smiled broadly, as if thoroughly enjoying this mont.

Mu Yiliang watched this, sneering internally.

They forced her to marry into the Yan Family for this very mont, disregarding her wishes and caring not for her happiness. Since her marriage, her parents hadn’t even asked about her, leaving her to fend for herself.

They were her parents, but ever since Mu Yiliang was sent abroad at the age of five, she had lived on her own for thirteen years, with her parents hardly ever caring for her. Mu Yiliang had long lost any feelings or expectations towards them, so she rely gave a sarcastic smile, feeling nothing else inside.

"Not feeling well?" Yan Sijue suddenly asked.

"Oh... I’m fine..." Mu Yiliang lowered her eyes, "It’s just... seeing Mom and Dad."

Yan Sijue glanced over to the side, quickly understanding.

"If you’re feeling bored, go get sothing to eat." He acted very considerately.

"Okay." Mu Yiliang complied easily, walking towards the long table.

Today’s banquet allowed her to witness all kinds of behaviors, making it worth her while to co.

"Sister, you were in the spotlight today." A voice full of jealousy ca from behind, and Mu Yiliang didn’t need to turn around to know who it was.

"You were quite in the spotlight yourself." Mu Yiliang said casually, holding a fruit salad in her hand. "I wonder how many people asked your age. If it weren’t for your young age, our family might already have more happy events."

"Hmph, I’m not like you. Mom and Dad wouldn’t marry off to soone I don’t like!" Mu Yixun proudly raised her chin.

Mu Yiliang put a piece of cantaloupe in her mouth, smiling at her: "Then I wish you success in getting what you want."

"Don’t feel too smug." Mu Yixun suddenly said maliciously, "If brother-in-law remains as ignored as before, your status might not change for a while. But once he builds up his power, do you think he would tolerate a wife like you? Even if your surna is Mu, it won’t be possible!"

Mu Yiliang frowned slightly.

She had to admit, Mu Yixun was right. She could be sure that was Yan Sijue’s plan. Though he was quite considerate to her now, he never truly regarded her as his wife in his heart.

Tsk... Mu Yiliang sighed lightly in her heart. It seed she needed to speed things up; she couldn’t let this man kick her out first, or Jason and the others would laugh at her for a whole year!
