"Next ti you encounter sothing like this, fight back directly. Be more assertive. At least for now, you are still my wife, Yan Sijue." Yan Sijue said calmly.

At least for now.

Just now, Mu Yiliang had stopped Mu Yixun’s questioning, but she was also curious about the answer to this question in her heart. And now, the man had provided an answer: at this mont, she was his wife, but in the future, that might not be the case.

It seems that this man never thought about staying with her forever. Divorcing her is only a matter of ti.

This kind of thinking is undoubtedly more beneficial to Mu Yiliang’s plan, but this answer still made Mu Yiliang a bit unhappy.

Even if one day we get divorced, it would only be because I dumped you, Young Master Yan.

This was what Mu Yiliang thought, with a subtle curve in her lips.

"I will." She said softly.

Yan Sijue took in her docile deanor completely.

He originally thought he had seen through this woman completely. But now, he suddenly had a feeling of not understanding her. Her docility at this mont, for so reason, made him feel uneasy.

Yan Sijue suddenly thought of the mont when he was speaking with Mu Yixun, and this woman suddenly laughed. Laughing at that mont was certainly because she was happy to see Mu Yixun embarrassed. But if she were truly as she said, bullied and mocked since childhood and thus timid, she would never have laughed so heartlessly at that mont.

The man’s gaze beca deep.

Mu Yiliang felt uncomfortable being stared at by him, timidly raising her head: "You... Didn’t you just say you were going out?"

Yan Sijue looked at her seriously, then suddenly smiled: "You’re eagerly waiting for to leave?"

"No! I... I’m just afraid you’ll be late!" Mu Yiliang said flusteredly, "How could I be hoping for you to leave?"

The man smiled noncommittally and finally turned to leave.

Mu Yiliang saw him out the door and watched him get into the car, finally letting out a sigh of relief.

The way this man had stared at her just now filled her with a sense of panic as if she had been seen through.

Hopefully, he hasn’t beco suspicious.

A week passed in the blink of an eye.

Mu Yiliang arranged another eting with Yan Sijue at a hotel.

It was still afternoon; the sunlight filled the room as Mu Yiliang lay on the bed after her shower, flipping through a magazine.

She was browsing a fashion magazine filled with photos of male models, most of them shirtless, showing off their physiques. Mu Yiliang was enjoying herself imnsely.

Suddenly, a hand was placed on the magazine in front of her.

Mu Yiliang blinked. She recognized this hand.

"Young Master Yan." Mu Yiliang propped her chin with a hand and turned to look at the newcor, "You’re early today."

Yan Sijue’s gaze fell on her face, and he gave a faint smile: "I can’t let you wait all day again."

"Actually, it doesn’t matter." Mu Yiliang said with a pleasant smile, "If you didn’t co, I could just look at these handso guys instead."

The man’s eyes narrowed slightly as he bent over her, covering her entirely, before disdainfully flipping through the magazine: "You consider these handso?"

"Of course, they can’t compare to you, Young Master Yan, but they’re better than nothing." Mu Yiliang said languidly.

Yan Sijue pulled the magazine from her hand and tossed it aside, then lowered his lips to kiss the corner of hers.

Mu Yiliang’s heart inexplicably skipped a beat, and she couldn’t help but grab the bed sheet with both hands. This feeling suddenly filled her with a bit of panic.
