Yan Sijue ignored his struggle and threw him onto the bed: "It’s nap ti now, close your eyes and sleep!"

Xiaoze rolled his eyes fiercely, got up quickly, and said angrily, "If you really want to do this, then I won’t stand by your side anymore!"

Yan Sijue’s brow twitched violently!

"Now? Too late!" His tone was still tough, "Anyway, you can’t get out of the main door!"

"Ah ah ah!" Xiaoze painfully scratched his head, deeply regretting his rashness!

He should have done more research before coming to recognize him! Now it’s good! He’s trapped himself!

"Stop scratching!" Yan Sijue grabbed his hands, "In the future, I’ll try to keep you company more. If you’re bored, just read a book or play in the garden. In any case, don’t get any funny ideas!"

Xiaoze glared at him angrily, turned his head firmly, and ignored him.

"Your mommy doesn’t want , and now even you treat like this..." Yan Sijue spoke mournfully, his eyelashes slightly lowered.

Xiaoze was stunned...

Was his daddy acting pitiful with him?

Humph! Childish!

He complained in his heart but couldn’t help softening: "Alright, I’ll listen to you for now... But instead of acting pitiful with , why not try this tactic with mommy? She has always responded better to gentleness than force!"

"That’s none of your concern!" Yan Sijue raised his eyebrows, "Alright, just sleep obediently!"

Xiaoze pouted, lay back on the bed, and turned his back on him.

Yan Sijue smiled helplessly and tucked him in before leaving his room.

However, the emotions he had been holding in vanished the mont he stepped out of his son’s room.

His face was grim as he subconsciously glanced at the door.

But there was no one in sight outside at this mont.

He felt as if his heart had tightened slightly.

Now, the only trump card he could play was Xiaoze. Though doing so was despicable, how could this woman possibly leave her son behind to be with another man?

Just imagining that scene made him feel unbearable.

No matter how many tis he told himself to let go, no matter how many tis she hurt him, deep down he still couldn’t truly let go. He had despised himself countless tis, but he just couldn’t do it.

He ultimately was not willing to give up.

Mu Yiliang asked Housekeeper Li to take her to the city.

When she got out of the car, she thanked him softly and hesitated before adding, "And please take good care of Xiaoze."

Housekeeper Li nodded slightly: "Don’t worry, taking care of the young master is my responsibility."

Only then did Mu Yiliang feel reassured. She closed the car door, watched as the car drove away, then turned around and silently got into another car.

Jason and Xiao Qi were waiting for her inside.

"Mu, where’s Xiaoze?" Xiao Qi looked outside stubbornly since they didn’t see Xiaoze.

Mu Yiliang sighed wearily: "He’s at the Yan Family."

Jason, in the driver’s seat, glanced back at her: "Yan Sijue wouldn’t let him go?"

"Yes." Mu Yiliang replied with a bitter smile, "He even said that unless I gave up custody of Xiaoze, I wouldn’t be allowed to see him again."

"Damn! What kind of person is he!" Xiao Qi was furious and lashed out at Jason, "Why didn’t you stop Xiaoze before? I told you not to let him recognize Yan Sijue!"

Jason was helpless: "I didn’t know at the ti! Xiaoze contacted , and that’s when I found out he went to seek help from Yan Sijue."

Mu Yiliang paused, suddenly thinking of sothing: "Did you exchange any information with him?"

Jason hesitated briefly and then nodded: "At the ti, I was so concerned about your safety that I didn’t think too much about it, so I told him everything I knew."

"Including things between Ye Moran and ?"

"Uh... I only ntioned it a little, thinking it might be useful." Jason frowned slightly, "But that was years ago, I thought you had long ceased having any feelings for Ye Moran."

"Of course." Mu Yiliang nodded, but inside she couldn’t help but smile bitterly.
