As a matter of courtesy, she should also be concerned about his recent situation.

"So...what about you? What have you been up to in the past three years?" Su Wanwan asked.

"I’ve been doing so fun stuff." He laughed lazily, "You’ll find out in a few days."

Su Wanwan felt a tickle of curiosity inside, but she didn’t want to show her interest in him, so she calmly replied, "Mm."

At that mont, the dishes they ordered arrived.

Seeing the waiter place one exquisite dish after another in front of them, Su Wanwan felt dizzy; she realized she had indeed ordered too much food!

She was really foolish, as if ordering more dishes could bankrupt this man!

"It seems you’re really hungry." Mu Yuze’s light-hearted remark made Su Wanwan feel deeply embarrassed.

She was left with no choice but to bury her head in eating, until she was so full she could barely walk. Finally, when Mu Yuze offered to take her ho, she was too ashad to refuse.

The car stopped at the building entrance. Su Wanwan thanked him and opened the door to get out, not expecting Mu Yuze to also get out of the car, walk to the passenger side, and take the sketchpad from her hand.

"Co on, I’ll walk you upstairs."

"No...no need."

But he already grasped her wrist, pulling her forward without giving her a chance to object.

Su Wanwan’s gaze involuntarily fell on his hand.

This man had a pair of very attractive hands, with long fingers, distinct knuckles, and thin fingertips. Such hands clearly indicated a good background.

Back when they were together, every ti he held her, he would only grasp her wrist, not her hand.

He never kissed her, nor did he hug her. So, every ti she recalled that brief romance, it felt unreal. Apart from his smile and dark eyes, the only mory she had was the warmth when he held her wrist.

But it wasn’t enough, far from enough. Real couples aren’t like they were.

If he truly liked her, his gaze wouldn’t be so calm, and his manners wouldn’t be so perfectly gentlemanly.

When she was deeply involved, he stood calmly on the shore, always graceful and composed.

Su Wanwan closed her eyes, trying hard to suppress the bitterness in her heart.

"I’ll just take the elevator up; you don’t need to walk further." Su Wanwan opened her eyes, smiled nonchalantly, and withdrew her wrist. "Give the sketchpad, thank you for today."

Mu Yuze glanced at her, his eyes still dark and unreadable.

Su Wanwan had to retrieve the sketchpad from his hand herself, turned to press the elevator button, and walked inside.

The elevator door slowly closed before her eyes, Mu Yuze remained immobile, his gaze still on her, seemingly devoid of emotions, yet perhaps hiding too many.

Su Wanwan dared not look away, staring wide-eyed at him until finally, the man chuckled lightly and waved goodbye to her.

The elevator door finally shut.

Su Wanwan sighed with relief and leaned against the elevator wall.

She returned to the apartnt, Zhou Miaomiao had already co back from work and was eating ice cream.

"Wanwan!" As soon as she saw Su Wanwan, her eyes lit up, she jumped in front of her, "Quickly confess! What is the relationship between you and Mu Yuze!"

Her eyes sparkled with gossip.

Su Wanwan thought for a mont, and felt there was nothing to hide: "Sort of an ex-boyfriend and girlfriend relationship."

"What!" Zhou Miaomiao scread, "How co I didn’t know!"
