Seeing that the two had no more objections, Wu Heng looked at them, "No problems, right? The dragon will be in charge of security, and the queen will handle negotiations. I’ll keep an eye on things for you both."

"I humbly follow the oracle and am willing to make this trip for you, Lord." The Queen stood up and saluted solemnly.

The dragon also stood up: "I am willing as well."

"Go and prepare, I’ll send you over in a while. No need to bring your trusted aides," Wu Heng said straightforwardly.

The Queen nodded in agreent, then turned and left to change clothes.

...

Wu Heng and the dragon chatted a bit more about the situation in the hall.

Soon, the Queen returned to the guest hall.

She had changed into a set of splendid silver and gold-trimd armor, with a rapier at her waist, exuding heroic spirit.

Walking towards Wu Heng, she smiled slightly and saluted, saying, "Lord, I am ready."

Wu Heng nodded, and with a wave of his hand, a Light Gate quietly opened, "Let’s go, I’ll send you over."

The Queen was the first to walk in.

Seeing the Queen had gone in, the dragon followed as well.

The Light Gate closed and Wu Heng’s figure vanished along with it.

...

Dwarf Race, Monarch Hall.

The Dwarf King ’Solding’ sat on a heavy stone throne, gripping the armrests tightly, scrutinizing the two unsolicited visitors with suspicion.

When the guards reported that the ’Elf Queen’ and the ’Dragon’ appeared outside the Royal Palace simultaneously, he thought it must be a mistake.

But here they were in front of him, one a queen ruling the forest kingdom, the other the renowned leader of the Snake Badge Consortium, the strongest hero on the continent.

Their status was no less than his own, yet they arrived unannounced.

The Elf Queen took a step forward, her voice cold and even, "King Solding, we are here concerning the passage. Lord Wu Heng has ascended to godhood, this divine war cannot be delayed. We ask that your nation grant us the favor of opening your borders to allow our army through."

Solding squinted slightly, then shook his head after a brief silence, "Your divine war, the Dwarf Race wants no part of. Providing convenience would be tantamount to indirectly aiding you against The Holy Court. This matter I cannot agree to."

The words were polite, but the tone was unyielding.

Several dwarf ministers nodded in agreent.

The Dwarf Race’s territory was close to The Holy Court’s sphere of influence, and many within the race were followers of The Holy Court. Even if they had to choose sides, they leaned towards The Holy Court.

"So, you’re determined to block the Spirit Awakening Sect’s actions?" The Queen’s voice remained calm, but her gaze grew colder.

"That’s not what I ant!" Solding replied seamlessly, "I respect the Martial Balance God, and hold no prejudice against the Spirit Awakening Sect. However, the Dwarf Race has its troubles now, and we really can’t allow a foreign army to pass through."

At this mont, the dragon standing statue-like beside the Queen slowly raised its eyes.

A pair of eyes suddenly turned into vertical pupils, emitting a violent aura as they looked at the Dwarf King.

"This is not up to you," the dragon’s voice was not loud, yet it was like a heavy iron block crashing onto the stone floor, "A divine oracle has been issued; any who stand in the way will be removed. If the Dwarf Race has to change rulers, the cost... you cannot afford it."

"Are you threatening ?" Solding sat up straight, fury flashing in his eyes.

"I give you two choices," the dragon stepped forward, and the entire hall’s air seed to freeze abruptly.

"One, agree to the Queen’s proposal. You don’t need to fight, just mark out a path for our troops to pass."

After a slight pause, it continued, "Two, I kill everyone here! When internal chaos ensues and you’re unable to deal with other matters, the army can still pass through, but by then, you won’t have the right to negotiate terms."

"Arrogant! Do you really think we don’t have heroes in our race? You’re just a..." A dwarf official couldn’t help but shout angrily.

Before the words were finished, the dragon casually crushed the stone pillar beside it and flicked its finger.

A shard shot out like a flash of lightning, piercing the official’s throat in an instant.

Blood splattered, and cries of alarm erupted.

Clang clang clang~!

The surrounding guards drew their swords simultaneously, but were too intimidated by the dragon’s icy gaze to advance.

"I do not have the Queen’s patience," the dragon’s tone was calm, yet each word was lethal, "Whoever moves, dies! You should know, I do what I say."

"Take him away for treatnt! Quickly!" Solding suppressed his rage, waving for the wounded man to be carried away, and refocusing his gaze on the pair, "We also have heroes in our midst. Aren’t you afraid of making a deadly enemy today?"

"We’ve received news that the Divine Spirit of the Holy Hall has executed several Association Heroes! Your heroes, I suppose it’s been a while since you’ve heard from them?"

The Queen took over the conversation at the right mont, her tone slightly eased, offering a compromise, "Solding, let’s make a concession. My army will only move along the border, we won’t enter the cities or stop. What do you say?"

Solding stared hard at the pair, veins bulging on his temple.

The heroes in the race really were out of contact, and he knew that the ’Dragon’ would indeed act on its threats, killing everyone here.

Weighing the outcos, he found every decision hard for the Dwarf Race to make.

After a long while, he finally squeezed out a response, "...I will notify the border to allow passage, but rember, the Dwarf Race never permitted you to cross, you ca on your own accord."

"Understood! Would you need a formal agreent?" the Queen pressed.

"No need!" Solding nearly shouted, "Follow the route and be quick about it!"

"Good! Neither of us wishes for complications at such a ti." The Queen nodded slightly and turned to leave, then as if rembering sothing, she asked, "The transport team departs tomorrow. Would you like to convey a ssage for you?"

"The Dwarf Race has its own communication thods, save yourself the trouble!" Solding replied stiffly.

The Queen said nothing more, walking out of the hall shoulder to shoulder with the dragon.
