Chapter 1580: Chapter 1075: New Exhibit

The man knelt on the cold stone slab, his forehead pressed to the ground, his voice trembling. “Please, punish , Master.”

The torch cast flickering shadows, and the Master’s figure appeared especially tall in the firelight. He spoke slowly, his voice authoritative, “Set aside the matter of punishnt for now. Tell , what is the current state of Gold and Silver Island?”

The man straightened slightly and recalled, “Gold and Silver Island is exceptionally prosperous, with wealthy rchants and nobles everywhere on the streets. It truly deserves the title ‘Pearl of the Jade Sea.’

The Master continued, “With the power of my Holy Sect, if we confronted Gold and Silver Island head-on, what are our chances of victory?”

The man’s Adam’s apple moved, his eyes wandered, hesitating for a mont before answering, “Naturally, the Holy Sect will surely win.”

“How many heroes are on the island?”

“I saw two: the Necromancer Wu Heng and the Witch Viola, but I heard that Lilith of the Blood Clan is also on the island,” the man replied in a deep voice.

“Oh?” The Master’s voice held a dangerous undertone, “With three heroes stationed on the island, you still believe the Holy Sect can win?”

“Viola is nothing but a newly risen hero and is not worth worrying about,” the man hastily explained. “The only ones we truly need to watch are Wu Heng and Lilith. With your power and that of the Church Saint, victory will be easy.”

“The Church Saint?” The Master’s tone suddenly paused and then quickly revealed a smile, “You are quite clever; although you didn’t succeed this ti, the intelligence you brought back is valuable.”

With a wave of his hand, paper and pen appeared out of thin air, hovering before the man, “Draw the route you took to Gold and Silver Island in detail. We will arrange the subsequent plans.”

The man took the paper and pen with both hands and began to draw while kneeling.

The pen tip scribbled crookedly on the paper, occasionally pausing to ponder before continuing to add details.

Soon, the map was completed.

The Master took the complete map, glanced at it; although the route was rough, the key locations were clearly marked.

“Go and rest now!” The Master put away the map, his voice unusually gentle, “We will discuss the remaining matters tomorrow.”

“Yes, Master.” The man heavily bowed his head and retreated out.

Walking on the village’s small path, the man felt sothing was amiss.

The familiar architectural layout seed chaotic, and the faces of the congregation he passed were unclear. Rubbing his eyes, the scene gradually beca clear with careful recollection.

Perhaps he was just too tired!

Returning to his lodging and washing up, he lay down, the Master’s words still echoing in his mind.

Although the mission failed, the information brought back might elevate his status in the Church once again.

With anticipation in his heart, he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Whoo——!

The man suddenly sat up on the hard bed, gasping for air like a drowning man.

His eyes wide open, his pupils contracted violently in the darkness, his fingertips clutching the moldy straw mat.

Outside the iron cage, two Skeleton Guards still stood silently, their eye sockets, flickering with ghostly blue Soul Fire, stared intently in this direction.

“No… impossible…!” The man’s voice was hoarse as he looked around.

He clearly had escaped the cage and even knelt before the Master to report back….

“Damn it!” The man cursed, slamming his fist against the wall beside him, “Wu Heng, what exactly did you do?”

Only now did he realize that soone must have done sothing to him just now.

He had almost divulged all the intelligence.

This did not rely reveal the Church’s information; more importantly, he had lost his bargaining chip.

He wouldn’t survive.

The next day, in the morning.

Shanaela held a stack of docunts, stamped with the city hall’s seal, and handed them to Wu Heng, saying, “The first batch of participating Chambers of Comrce has been selected. They are all well-reputed, established Chambers of Comrce, and the newly added ones have also undergone strict verification.”

Wu Heng took the list and quickly scanned the nas of several established Chambers of Comrce, followed by a few new ones, Jade rchant House, Moonlight Vine Trade Association.

“You handle it, you’re far more expert in this than I am.” Wu Heng handed the list back, “You handle the rest.”

Shanaela scoffed lightly, continuing to ask, “And the products from Gold and Silver Island? I need to arrange exhibition stands and publicity according to the product types.”

“I’ll give you the samples tomorrow.”

“So secretive…” Shanaela rolled her eyes at him.

As they spoke, soft footsteps ca from the stairs.

Lady descended gracefully in a red dress, looked over, and said, “Once you finish talking, go train.”

Wu Heng stood up, ruffled Shanaela’s hair, and was swatted on the hand by her, “You deserve a beating!”

“This is up to you.” Wu Heng smiled, walked to Lady’s side, and activated the Teleportation Technique.

The two of them disappeared.

West of the city, at the training grounds.

Under the scorching sun, skeletons ford a long line, placing materials into the Formation.

Wu Heng stood outside the Formation, Lady holding a brush, drawing dark red Runes on his skin, “The intelligence about the Twelve Heavenly Saints Sect has been confird. Besides the Master, there is another ‘Church Saint,’ whose status should be equivalent to the Holy See.”

“Two heroes?” Wu Heng raised an eyebrow.

No wonder the association hasn’t been able to completely eradicate this Evil Cult.

If two heroes fought desperately in retaliation, it would be dangerous enough. What’s more troubleso is if they abandon their base and go on the run, they might attack association branches all over the place.

It really is a troubleso matter indeed.

“Can their locations be determined?” Wu Heng asked next.

Lady finished drawing the Runes and said, “Yes! I’ll draw up the map for you when we get back.”

Wu Heng nodded, then asked again, “Is that Church Saint also with the Master?”

Lady thought for a mont, shook her head, and said, “Not clear for now, but if it really cos down to action, we’ll naturally know then.”

“True enough!”

Not far away, the skeletons had also placed all the materials into the Formation.
