Chapter 1536: Chapter 1056: This Must Be Fake

The middle-aged man’s screams suddenly escalated, his neck veins bulged, and his entire face turned purple-red.

“Hold him down!” Li Yahong rushed forward, but still found it difficult to restrain the man.

Zhao Yanqiu picked up the phone on the table and shouted for the dical team to co over.

The scene beca sowhat chaotic.

“Auntie, let do it!” Xiao Xiao said, and the Soul separated from the puppet, directly possessing the man.

Level 20 Ghost, possesses absolute control over ordinary people.

The middle-aged man cald down, and Li Yahong also returned to her seat and breathed a sigh of relief.

The squirming flesh at the severed limb emitted a slippery sound that made one’s teeth ache, with the pink and white new tissue swelling like a fernting dough.

The growth of bones, muscles, and other tissues was clearly visible.

Two minutes.

In just two short minutes, under the gaze of three people, a complete lower leg suddenly ford.

Delicate white skin wrapped around evenly ford muscles, even the toes twitched neurotically.

Xiao Xiao disengaged from the possession; the man had already passed out.

“He’s fainted, but his vital signs are stable.” Li Yahong squatted down to check.

Wu Heng said, “Next ti, make sure to give them anesthesia; I don’t have much experience with this, and it almost went wrong.”

“Yes, ordinary people don’t have your kind of perseverance.” Zhao Yanqiu smiled and then glanced at the man’s leg, “This really counts as a dical miracle.”

Knock! Knock!

After an urgent knocking, the dical team rushed in.

The leading doctor saw the newly ford wet limb on the floor and knelt down to examine it, forgetting to wear rubber gloves, voice trembling, “This…”

It seed they all knew each other.

Discovering the man’s newly ford lower leg was sowhat unbelievable.

“Take him for a comprehensive checkup. Once we confirm he’s okay, we’ll let him leave.” Li Yahong directly instructed.

“Okay!” With a nod, signaling soone behind to bring in a stretcher, they carried the man out.

Once the door closed again, the office fell silent once more.

Several seconds passed before Zhao Yanqiu said, “Did the Scepter make his leg grow out?”

Wu Heng nodded, “Yes! From now on, you take charge of it. It will be more convenient for missionary work.”

Zhao Yanqiu swallowed and asked, “What’s the principle behind it?”

“It’s the effect of a special tool.” Wu Heng placed the Scepter in front of him, reciting amidst the peculiar looks from the two won, “I have sinned, I repent…”

Zhao Yanqiu asked, “What are you doing?”

Xiao Xiao explained, “This is the side effect of the Scepter. For every use of its power, you must repent seven tis. Mom, if you use it later, make sure to count the tis and repent.”

Zhao Yanqiu’s expression seed to be hearing fantastical tales, “This stick has beco sentient?”

Xiao Xiao looked at her, “Why do you say that?”

“How does it know how many tis I repented? Or what I said?” Zhao Yanqiu continued to question.

“Huh?” Xiao Xiao opened her mouth wide, not knowing how to answer, and finally said, “Mom! Just do as uncle and I say.”

Li Yahong laughed along, saying, “Sister Zhao, we’ve seen zombies and skeletons, and now you’re puzzled by a stick that can count… isn’t that a bit…”

“Exactly!” Xiao Xiao nodded in agreent.

Zhao Yanqiu smiled and patted her daughter’s head.

Wu Heng finished his prayer and handed the Scepter to Zhao Yanqiu, speaking earnestly, “Xiao Xiao is right. For every use of its power, rember to repent seven tis. If you don’t follow the rules of the Scepter, the pain of the person you’ve helped will be inflicted upon you.”

Rules!

Zhao Yanqiu and Li Yahong both raised their eyebrows.

Who set these rules? It seed like there was a part they couldn’t comprehend.

“Okay, I’ve got it.” Zhao Yanqiu’s fingertips brushed the patterns on the Scepter, “Giving it to seems kind of wasteful?”

“Use it well. The missionary work is equally important to us.” Wu Heng said solemnly.

“Xiao Xiao is the best.” Xiao Xiao stood between the two, holding Wu Heng with one hand and Zhao Yanqiu with the other, smiling.

Zhao Yanqiu pulled her daughter to sit beside her.

Wu Heng turned to Li Yahong and asked, “Do we still have stocks of the infrasound missile?”

Li Yahong raised an eyebrow, “Yes! When I had a phone call with Gao Rong a couple of days ago, they reported a few over from their side, and we have quite a lot now.”

“Right, arrange for transport to the prison when there’s ti.”

“Sure, I’ll arrange it then.”

Wu Heng continued, “I used one last ti. I noticed the casing was quite preserved, so I brought it back. I’ll put it in the warehouse for you later to see if it can still be used.”

The infrasound missile is not an energy produced by explosion.

Back when I was in the Holy Hall, I saw the missile falling into the city and saw it wasn’t damaged much, so I collected it and brought it back.

“Okay, I’ll talk to Gao Rong about it.” Li Yahong replied.

The few sat together and chatted for a while.

Zhao Yanqiu’s eyes turned, and then she asked, “Would you like to stay for dinner?”

Wu Heng paused, and Li Yahong smiled, saying, “Sister Zhao is asking if you’re staying tonight.”

Zhao Yanqiu gave her a look but didn’t correct anything.

Wu Heng said, “I’ll stay, spend the night here, and head back tomorrow during the day.”

The two won both smiled.

Zhao Yanqiu said, “Then co to my place. You can chat while I prepare so dinner for you.”

“Not going to the cafeteria? I heard the food’s pretty good today.” Li Yahong started packing things up.

Zhao Yanqiu laughed, “Co to my place, we can cook what we want, and the three of us won’t eat much.”

“Sounds good!” Wu Heng nodded.

Li Yahong packed her things.

They left the office together and headed towards Zhao Yanqiu’s residence.
