The first award announced was this year’s top ten hit songs. The tenth place was just taken by Lin Yiyi who had just finished singing. Soon after, both new and veteran singers appeared on the list. Jian Chenxi’s new album’s lead song ranked third due to being signed under ES, so a representative was sent by ES to accept the award.
The second top hit song was from Ling Momo’s new album "Secret Love," the lead song "Forgive."
When the host announced Ling Momo’s na, caras imdiately focused on Ling Momo’s face and a thunderous applause erupted from the audience.
On the big screen behind the stage, there was a close-up of Ling Momo. She slowly stood up, turned around, and smiled slightly at the huge crowd behind her, nodding gently.
Then, holding her dress, she elegantly stepped onto the stage, first taking a photo with the host as per tradition, followed by the award presentation. Afterward, the host courteously praised, "Miss Ling looks exceptionally beautiful today, truly deserving of her overnight fa on the internet."
"Thank you," Ling Momo replied with a graceful smile.
"The the song of your first album has taken the second place in our gold song rankings. What are you feeling at this very mont, Miss Ling?"
Holding the trophy in one hand and the microphone in the other, facing thousands of flashing lights, Ling Momo first smiled slightly and then spoke confidently, "I’m very happy and excited, and it feels a bit like I’m dreaming."
"So Miss Ling, do you still feel like you’re dreaming?" the host jokingly pinched Ling Momo’s hand as he asked.
Ling Momo laughed out loud, and the host then asked, "This album is quite creative, especially the MTV for the award-winning song ’Forgive,’ with sceneries from all over the world—it’s absolutely beautiful!"
Reminded of what Enson had left her, "Letting you see sceneries from all over the world, hoping you can forgive ," her eyes softened and her lips curved slightly, "Thank you!"
The host continued to babble about so more topics before Ling Momo finally walked down from the stage with her award.
After she had sat down in her seat, the host then announced the top song of the top ten hits—a male singer of E&R from Baodi Group who was of king-level status: Han Lang.
Next were the awards for Best New Artist, starting with male singers followed by female singers, all signed under Baodi Group’s E&R company.
Then ca the awards for Best Male and Female Singer, with E&R and ES each taking one.
Next were the awards for the most favored songs by netizens, Best Comrcial Music, Best Film and Television Soundtrack, and Music Industry Contribution Award.
These awards weren’t as prestigious, so the announcents were sowhat rushed. Even though there were performances by singers in between, by the ti it got to the last few important awards, three hours had already passed.
"The most exciting mont has arrived. The next announcent is for this year’s best music event planner from ES Music Entertainnt————" the host paused before shouting, "Mr. Lu Niange!"
Lu Niange and Jian Chenxi’s dia coverage from their love story to their marriage was extensive, so many people already knew him. When his na was announced, the entire hall erupted in thunderous applause.
