Ling Momo wrinkled her nose and then grabbed her cellphone to find the electricity ter inside the house. Under the dim light, she noticed there was still plenty of electricity, so she ran to the window and saw that the other houses had power. That made her realize the problem was not a power outage in the neighborhood, but sothing in her own house.
Ling Momo scratched her head and walked out of her house to the ter box in the corridor, opened it, and just froze there.
Annoyed, Ling Momo fretted over the jumbled ss inside.
She was completely clueless about these things; the switches and wires were all over the place and she didn’t know where to start.
She randomly fiddled with her ho’s circuit breaker a few tis but found to her dismay that the lights still didn’t co on. Unable to resist, she raised her hand, scratched her hair, pouted her lips, and then, frustrated, kicked at those things while mumbling to herself, trying to figure them out.
Li Qingshen was standing downstairs, habitually waiting to see the lights in Ling Momo’s apartnt co on before leaving. Unexpectedly, after waiting for a long ti, he only saw the light flicker once and then it went dark again. Worried, he locked his car and went upstairs.
Reaching Ling Momo’s floor, he stepped out of the elevator and saw her bending over, her buttocks sticking out, staring dumbfounded at the ter box filled with question marks. He couldn’t help but feel soft-hearted, and walked up quietly, his tone gentle, "What’s wrong?"
Ling Momo, who hadn’t expected soone to suddenly speak, jumped in surprise. Looking up and seeing it was Li Qingshen, she patted her chest and with her lips puckered, a hint of reproach in her voice, said, "You scared to death..."
Before she could finish her sentence, she imdiately stared at him in surprise and asked, "Teacher, why haven’t you left yet?"
Li Qingshen completely ignored Ling Momo’s question, squatted down, glanced inside the ter box, and said calmly, "The fuse is blown."
Imdiately, Ling Momo saw hope and blinking her eyes, asked, "Teacher, do you know how to fix it?"
Li Qingshen nodded and replied, "Do you have a good fuse? Just replace it and it will be fine."
Ling Momo scratched her head and then naively shook her head, "I don’t have one."
Li Qingshen couldn’t help feeling embarrassed, as fuses are essential for soone living alone!
Seeing Li Qingshen’s speechless expression, Ling Momo stuck out her tongue and then quickly said, "Teacher, just wait here, I’ll go downstairs to the landlord’s place to borrow one, he definitely has it!"
Without waiting for Li Qingshen to respond, Ling Momo dashed downstairs and soon ca back holding so tools and fuses, and handed them to Li Qingshen, "Teacher, see if it’s all here."
With a hum, Li Qingshen bent down to change the fuse. The corridor was lit, but not very bright, and so areas remained dim, making it difficult to see. He frowned and directed Ling Momo, "Do you have a flashlight?"
Ling Momo scratched her head again and then absent-mindedly shook her head, quickly speaking, "Teacher, can a cellphone work?"
While speaking, she took her cellphone to provide light, but the illumination was still too dim. Li Qingshen glanced at Ling Momo and couldn’t help but bla her, sowhat helplessly saying, "How exactly are you living? Not even prepared with a flashlight?"
Ling Momo pouted and coquettishly replied, "I didn’t know it would cut off..."
