"How embarrassing of !" the landlady said with a smile that bore a hint of embarrassnt.
"No problem, I actually brought so for you." After the debacle with Jian Chenxi at the university, the landlady was arguably the only person in City X who had been kind to her, so Ling Momo had made a special effort to buy lots of local specialties for her while she was abroad.
"Momo, you’re really too polite!" The landlady seed very happy as she followed Ling Momo into her room.
All of Ling Momo’s luggage had been brought back by ES staff mbers and placed in the living room at ho. Momo spotted the bag of specialties imdiately, walked over, opened it, and took out one or two of each item to give to the landlady.
The landlady was beaming with joy and started a conversation with Ling Momo, "Momo, does your boyfriend know you’re back in the country?"
"Boyfriend?" Ling Momo frowned in confusion, looking at the landlady.
"Yes, the night you had a high fever and were out of it, your boyfriend ran over to call the doctor and buy dicine for you. Your boyfriend is really handso!" The landlady beca increasingly excited as she recalled Li Qingshen, whom she had seen that night.
Ling Momo quickly recalled which night it had been; it was Enson who had taken care of her... The landlady said he was handso... But she had never seen what he looked like. Suddenly, Ling Momo could not help but ask, "Is he really that handso?"
"Of course! He’s the most handso man I’ve ever seen! Just like a movie star, and so considerate!" The landlady paused for a mont, then added another sentence, "And that day you couldn’t even drink dicine, he fed you mouth-to-mouth just like they do in TV dramas!"
Ling Momo’s mind exploded, and her face instantly turned completely red. Enson had actually fed her the dicine mouth-to-mouth?
Her heart started to beat more and more fiercely despite itself.
Seeing Ling Momo’s shy look, the landlady cheerfully said, "Momo, you’re really lucky to have such a caring boyfriend; they’re hard to co by!"
Listening to the non-stop praises coming out of the landlady’s mouth, Ling Momo felt even more bitter inside. He wasn’t her boyfriend; she wished he was her boyfriend, but she didn’t deserve him...
Ling Momo forced a smile and exchanged a few words with the landlady. After sending her off, Ling Momo was already exhausted. She slowly closed the door and then leaned against it, sliding down to sit on the floor bit by bit. She buried her head between her knees and remained motionless.

During the two and a half months that Ling Momo was not in City X, two explosive pieces of news broke in the entertainnt circle.
The first was that Chen Wanru’s new song was released to great success, with unanimous praise from all fans, saying that Chen Wanru, after lying low for three years, was still in her pri. Once she drew her sword, no one could compete!
The second piece of news was that ES Music Entertainnt’s diva, Jian Chenxi, and the company’s well-known music planner, Lu Niange, were finally getting married, with the wedding scheduled for September 7th!
Ling Momo found out about these things two days after she returned to City X. She had been so tired that she slept straight through, a full forty-eight hours without even rembering hunger or thirst. When she woke up, it was the early morning of Li Qingshen’s birthday, and she couldn’t sleep anymore. So she went online to browse the news and found out.
