In early sumr, the weather in X City was extrely unpredictable. It began to rain heavily outside, making it impossible to return ho, so Li Qingshen arranged for her to stay in the bedroom on the second floor.

Li Qingshen stared at the steaming instant noodles, his eyes reflecting a strange glimr, and then he pulled out the chair at the dining table and sat down facing Ling Momo.

Li Qingshen ate with an elegant deliberate grace, slowly chewing with careful savor.

There was a quietness where not a single sound was made.

Ling Momo ate gingerly alongside him.

After the al, Li Qingshen went straight upstairs. Ling Momo washed the dishes, then sat in the living room and casually turned on the TV, flipping through channels at random.
