[Prologue: Beginning]

The night was as cool as water.

The hazy moonlight was blocked by the heavy curtains, and the room was pitch black.

Ling Momo lay there quietly, every breath filled with the scent of the man beside her, light and elegant.

Ling Momo slightly raised her eyes and looked at the face so close to her.

The room was too dark; no matter how hard she tried to frown, all she could see was lumps of darkness, and she couldn't make out his features at all.

Even though she had tangled with him in passionate frenzy many tis, she still didn't know what this man really looked like.

Ling Momo stared blankly for a while, unable to resist raising her hand to lightly trace his contours.

Before Ling Momo's voice settled, clothing flew towards her head.

Ling Momo reached out, hurriedly pulling the clothing off her head. Amidst the chaos, a pair of slender, warm fingers silently clasped around her neck.

Ling Momo froze, eyes wide open, staring at the shadow in front of her, not daring to move a muscle. She felt her breathing growing increasingly labored. Was he trying to strangle her?

"Trouble?" The man's voice resonated, carrying an eerie and dangerous tone.

"Uh-huh, I am afraid of causing you trouble and... I'm getting married tomorrow, so let's reluctantly compromise this ti, finish it once and for all, is that fine?"

Ling Momo felt the grip on her neck tighten. She blinked and tried to smile, her voice innocent, "Or, you know what, how about I give you an additional ti...?"

Accompanied by her whimper, the man's lips pressed down on hers with astonishingly domineering force...
