While the etings of the mbers of the Elites were ongoing, Yman was struggling against the evolved Evil Rat which now had the na of Noble Rat and reached the pinnacle of D, the D Wanderer.
Now it stood on its 2 limbs. It's supposed red eyes had turned into hazy yellow. Its pure dark blue fur that covered its whole body, now had milky-white fur arcing on its stomach down to its middle part. Its two ears grew longer, about 10 inches long that stood like horns on its pointy head. And on its face, gleaming in tallic luster, the whiskers were protruding like long needles. Even its razor-sharp claws had grown longer and sharper.
Khaaaaaaaa!!! It suddenly yelled. The raspy shrill from it sent shivers on him.
The cloak he was wearing had already torn, the clothes were tattered, and marks of blood could be spotted on so of its torn areas.
If not because of his healing magic, not only his clothes would be torn at the mont but also his flesh.. For once he was thankful for having such healing magic, a self-healing magic though. Which was not usable to others.
Actually, his body was covered by rashes as of the mont. It was the effect caused by the poison. So, at the mont, he was still in danger. If not because of the resistance coming from his cloak and mask, for certain he was already dead at the mont.
Hah, hah, hah... Yman was breathing heavily.
Currently, he was on his feet and was maintaining his balance not to fall on the ground. At the sa ti, he also was eyeing the enemy in front. They just finished an exchange of attacks, however, Yman was at a disadvantage. This monster's agility and strength had increased for many folds after it evolved which he already expected.
Yet, he did not choose to escape, how could he just leave this monster roaming down here freely? Although he did not really care if so people wandered inside the channel and found themselves in unfavorable situations, he was not the hero type person who would sacrifice himself just to save soone.
Actually, he did it, he did rescue soone from before. When he and his sister wandered around the town. He was carrying his sister on his back for days after they lost their parents.

It was a bright sunny day when they passed at the town's park. He saw a rich-looking beautiful kid girl running towards the dark alleyway while being chased by a Hybrid Mad Dog.

Hybrid Mad Dog was at the rank C monster. They mostly attack their victim when they are with their group or if the victim is alone.
Seeing the rich-looking girl running aimlessly towards the dark alleyway, Yman thought that if he managed to save this girl, her parents might be thankful and gave them food by saving their daughter.
That ti, his mind was devoid of fear and shrouded because of his stomach that clamored in hunger, he did not even think that they might find themselves in danger by doing so.
TOGETHER with his sister that was tied on his back, he chased after them without a second thought.
He saw the girl cowering in a corner while covering her head with her little hands.
She was crying while shouting: "Mom! Dad! I'm scared! Help ! Help ! Help !
Noticing a dirty 1-ter stick that was leaning in the wall, he imdiately grabbed it then rushed in difficulty towards the Hybrid Mad Dog.
Even though he was still 5 years old at that ti, he was trained with basic swordsmanship by his mysterious teacher.
Before the Hybrid Mad Dog could gnaw its prey in front, it suddenly stopped when it heard a yell from behind it.
Yman flinched a little upon seeing its red eyes, those piercing gaze of the killer, it was almost identical with that eyes of that person who murdered their parents.
Its wide-mouth was dripping with sticky liquids, and heinous-looking razor-sharp fangs protruding like inverted nails.
Definitely, it could tear him without difficulty if ever it bit him.
Regardless, after hearing the grumbling of his and his sister's stomach, he was looking at it like looking at the food instead.
In his mind, if he won and successfully rescued the girl, he could get so food. And if he loses, then they would beco a fresh al for this beast together with the rich-looking kid girl.
Yman continued his charge and made a basic downward strike to the monster's head.
The dirty stick made a whipping sound in the air as it ca from above to below. Yet…
It hit empty air.
Yman's eyes trembled after his attack failed to land on its target.
However, the Hybrid Mad Dog leaped overhead and sneak unto the opposite wall, then gone in a second.
He sighed in relief. Looks like the Hybrid Mad Dog really did not attack if there were multiple enemies in its vicinity.
No. The reason why it chose to escape was…
Tak, tak, tak…
A mont after the Hybrid Mad Dog escaped, so steeping sounds reached their ears.
When the owner of those steeping sounds reached the dark alleyway where the children were.
They saw a young boy holding a dirty stick in his hand that was pointing its tip to the cowering girl.
"You bastard! What are you doing!" Angry yelled from soone who just arrived.
Yman suddenly threw the stick and tried to explain what really happened, but instead, he was beaten up. And that guy even acts heroically in front of the girl's relatives when they arrived, like he just rescued a damsel in distress from so villain.
They even took his sister and brought her into the orphanage. And accused him as a collaborator of the criminal group who kidnapped children to sell their organs or made them a puppet for killing.
He tried and tried to reason out. Yet, those so-called magicians who are supposed to be heroes would only believe what their eyes saw and not the actual scenario.
Because of hunger, he lost his consciousness just mont after the beating. He was so hungry that even what happened in that ti was pretty vague now in his mory, yet he was sure that sothing like that happened from before.
However, what he got in exchange for rescuing soone was a beating and not food. And he was sent into a facility to be a lab frog.
After all, they were looking at him as not human. But a scam criminal. For god sake, he was just a kid at that ti. Right now, he believes that that issue was not as simple as that. It was already planned by soone lurking in the dark.
However, all of these were just a blatant hunch.
After he was brought in the facility, repeated tests and experintation was done to him. They were making a living weapon from him. Planting artificial Hollow cells into him together with a built-in deity.
Failures after failure. Which causes him pain, pain, pain, pain… for a long ti.
Yet Yman chose to be obedient while waiting for the right timing to escape.
Yeah...inside him...or he himself was a living deity...
Until one day, he was able to escape from that facility with the help of Miss Pai. She was a new attendant at that ti.
And sothing happened that changed her perspective from helping to develop a living weapon which is him, into helping him to escape.
Yman that ti was already 15 years old. After his successful escape. He went to look for his sister with Miss Pai's help.
That ti when they took them, they were using an alias. After their parents were killed, it was only natural for him to change their identity. Who knows what that murderer's true goal was. It was taught to him from his teacher to always conceal yourself from your enemy.
