Xin's eyes slowly open, he doesn't know what happened after he got the system notification about that Dinsional Gate malfunction again.
He awakened in Malan's arm who held him dearly while covering both of them with her wing to protect all harm.
lan whos waiting for his master to awake said," Good morning …..master...are you okay…?"
Xin smiled and said," I'm okay. What about you are you fine?"
lan slowly nodded, she released Xin and slowly folded her wings.
Xin surveyed the surrounding, based on the red sky. He knew that they both landed in the underworld again, but in which part Xin don't know.
Xin said," Let's work around maybe we can ask soone out current location"
lan nodded and followed his master.
While walking Xin starts talking to the system,' System, how many days are you going to fix the Dinsional Gate, and what year we landed?'
System,' I don't know how many days the repair team complete the new gate but i will contact you again host, and for the year I think it was 8-9 years for your actual destination"
Xin thought,' Hmmm, system what ti should I arrive in this world?'
System,' You should arrive 2 days before the actual start of the storyline of this world"
Xin nodded,' I understand, I will walk around first and then notify if the Dinsional Gate is ready'
Xin and lan walk around, they don't know how much they walk until they find a hidden cave inside of the jungle, the two of them decide to take a rest for today.
Xin started to cook while teaching so knowledge about cooking to lan. He wanted her to know more and learn more things as he continues the journey.
When they were eating, Xin suddenly heard a noise at a footspeed coming closer to them.
Xin said," Soone is coming, we can now ask so direction"
The two of them wait while eating until they see a girl wearing tattered clothes while her whole body is full of wounds and scar.
The girl looks at them vigilant and then she notices the food on the table. She did not eat for the past day so she is very hungry but she knows that if she stops running the people who are chasing her are neer.
If she tries to stop and eat, they will eventually catch her and take her back.
Seeing her poor condition and the hunger in her eyes while eyeing on their food, Xin smile at her and said," If you are hungry you can eat with us"
The girl kept staring at her back to see if her pursuer was near but she did not hear any noise coming from her so she knew that she already misdirected them.
She keeps staring at the kid in front of her and slowly walks at them. lan takes a plate and serves her food.
The girl slls the food first and tastes a little bit of it, after that she stares back at Xin and then continues to eat.
Xin doesn't know what happened to this girl, she is too vigilant even eating. She keeps staring behind as if there's soone following her.
Xin ask," Why not remove the cover on your head, it much easy to eat if you do that"
The girl stares at Xin but seeing that he doesn't have any bad intention, she slowly takes off her hood and reveals her face.
Black long haired, Hazel-Gold eyes and the most noticeable from her is the cat ear in the top of her head.
Xin said," Are you a Neko?
The girl suddenly disappeared and appeared at the top of a tree, she stared at them vigilant.
Xin said," I said you are a Neko"
The girl angry said," I'm not a Neko, I'm Nekomata"
Xin said," Then you really are a Neko!"
The girl bares her fangs and says," I'm not a cat, but a yokai a Nekomata!"
Xin said," That's cool, I never see sothing like you in my whole life"
"Go down and continue to eat"
Xin then continues to eat with lan, while the cat girl slowly climb down and vigilant sit at the table. She continue to eat while her ears move around from ti to ti.
Xin thought,' What a cute Neko'
After eating, lan starts to clean the table, while Xin is cleaning the cafe for their resting place.
Because the cave is to small for them, he only places a big bed for them, when he has done completing their temporary shelter. He made a large bath using earth magic and filled it with hot water.
Xin stare at the cat girl and said," If you want to enter the bath you need to wash cleanly first"
The catgirl only stares at him and continues to gaze around vigilant, while lan and Xin wash and start to rest while dipping inside the large bath.
As if she feels itchy all over her body, the catgirl starts to scratch here and there, then she sees the clean and warm looking bathtub that they make.
She thought,' I'm already far away. Maybe they will not going to catch here'
She then removes her clothes and starts washing up. She washes carefully because yokai cats like them love cleanliness.
After that, she step inside of the bath while staring at lan and Xin.
She thought,' Maybe this kid is a rich young master from so clan, that's why he have a maid even bathing'
While resting inside of the bath the cat girl starts to doze off. She doesn't know if she is too tired for the long journey or the bath is too comfortable.
Xin see that the catgirl fall asleep while naked inside of the bath, he said," lan, wipe her dry and dress her clean cloth"
"After that let her rest in the bed, i will sleep later with you guys"
lan nodded, she carefully carried the girl, wipes her dry change her clothes and brought her to the resting place that Xin just made.
