Hearing Makino's question Xin feels that he heard soone ask him the sa question too but he can't rember when.
Xin thought," Your question is not really hard to answer. But before I answer it let first ask you"

She knows that she is not strong enough like Stella, that's why she picks to train Garp whso strong enough to roval famous pirates.
Makino doesn't need to hurry because she knows that she is still young and becoming a marine has good rit to be siding justice.
A long ti ago she discovered that Xin is a student for the marine academy and if she joins the marine she can spend more ti with Xin.
Makino smiled and said," I think I rember now why I want to beco strong …."
Xin asked," Can you tell why?"
Makino smile and said," its secret, maybe in future i will tell you but for now i will keep it secret"

After that simple conversation, Makino suddenly feels that she needs to improve herself more. Based on Xin's action and the girls that start to pop out everywhere, there's a chance that she has many rivals in the future.
Joining Marine can shorten her distance to Xin while spending her ti with each other.

Early in the morning, Garp, Luffy and Makino delivered to the harbor where Xin's ship is waiting for them.

Xin and his partners rode the ship and said," Grandpa Garp, we will leave now! Please tell Grandma that i'm fine"
Garp waved at them and said," Okey i will take care of your kid . I will see you at the end of year test!"
"I will, goodbye, for now, Grandpa, Luffy, Makino ~!"
Luffy wave at them," Goodbye Xin~"
While Making stares at them while dreaming in the future that she will join in their adventure next item she sees them.
