Qi Qiming’s eyes darkened. His hand movent halted as he stared at Qi Lei.
“Do you still hate ?”
Although things looked better for the father and son lately, Qi Qiming could sense the rebellious attitude from Qi Lei, especially since their conversation at his office the last ti. Their relationship quickly turned cold again and Qi Feng was unwilling to even see his father.
“What’s the point of hating you? What do you want?” Qi Lei was alerted.
“Are there really no familial bonds between us as father and son?” Qi Qiming suddenly asked.
Qi Lei was stunned for a mont and he just looked at him without saying anything.
“I know you’ve always been unhappy with , especially about your mother and about what happened before. I’m afraid you’ve ford a huge grudge against since long ago.” Qi Qiming lowered his voice and took a deep breath. “Even so, you can’t deny the fact that you share my blood. I’m willing to make it up to you if you’re unhappy with , but please don’t act selfishly.”
“Make it up to ? Do you intend to? Are you leaving the CEO’s position to and letting Qi Feng stay at ho?” Qi Lei put on a cold grin as he spoke.
As Qi Qiming’s expression darkened, he seed strained.
“If that’s the case, I might consider forgiving you and be your nice Second Master Qi.”
“Qi Lei, you’re rash. Unlike Ah Feng’s calm and careful manner, you might not be suitable to handle Qi Kai. Moreover, you’ve always been the unrestricted type. I doubt you’ll be truly happy if you have to handle the company. I can divide the shares into two, so both Ah Feng and you will have the sa amount of Qi Kai’s shares,” Qi Qiming said.
The sa amount of shares?
Qi Lei’s grin grew wider as he looked at Qi Qiming. “Do you an you’re going to divide the shares on your hands into two, or are you letting and Qi Feng have the sa amount of shares?”
“It’s the latter...” Qi Qiming answered.
Qi Lei let out a cold burst of laughter. “Say, why are you compromising? I’d look at you differently if you were to choose the forr. I have a large number of shares from my mother anyway. If you’re really treating us fairly, I should be the one in your seat right now, and not Qi Feng.”
Qi Qiming’s expression was grim.
“Ever since I was a child, you’ve never appreciated no matter what I did. I thought it was because of my mother. I thought that because she decided to marry you and you were forced to marry her although the two of you weren’t in love but were stuck together for over 30 years, it must’ve been tough on you.
“Do you think my mother really wanted to marry you? You’re a shaless monster. You shouldn’t have touched her if you didn’t love her. Mother thought about finding a reason to divorce you after the company’s crisis was over, but what did you do? I despise a man who says he doesn’t love a woman but then forces her to comply. My mother wasn’t your mistress. It’s the woman the Qi family officially offered a marriage contract to. You should not have done that to her.” Qi Lei suddenly felt a headache. He took several deep breaths as he looked at Qi Qiming who turned pale.
“Whatever, I don’t want to talk about the past right now. However, Qi Feng and I can’t be brothers.” Qi Lei paused before putting on a cold smile. “You should know that better than anyone else, so why are you lying to yourself? You probably know what’s going to happen from here onwards too. Qi Kai can only exist with one of us. Well, I don’t really want to have anything to do with you anyway.”
Qi Lei’s words made Qi Qiming’s face turn red. He voiced his doubts in the end. “So, are you going to take everything you can from Qi Kai and start anew on your own?”
Qi Lei was stunned for a mont. He was on guard as he looked at Qi Qiming whose anger brimd in his eyes...
The two of them stared at each other for a while before Qi Qiming summoned his secretary over. The secretary quickly handed him a docunt, and he glanced through it before throwing it before Qi Lei. His tone sounded stern and cold as he said, “This is the information I got from the Finance Departnt last month, as well as the information I got from the private detective this morning. Shouldn’t you explain what’s happening to ? What are these? I want explanations!”
Qi Lei squinted his eyes at Qi Qiming as he grabbed the docunts and casually looked through them. He closed the file monts later, not seeming surprised at all.
“What explanation would you like to hear? Isn’t it written clearly enough already?” Qi Lei did not even bother to hide his intentions anymore. Nearly everything was on the right track now and he did not have much to worry about. It was ti for a showdown.
“Why are you doing this? Do you know that your behavior is equal to betraying Qi Kai?” Qi Qiming asked coldly.
Qi Lei smiled and threw the docunts back to Qi Qiming as he sighed. “Don’t act like it’s all unbelievable. I’d think that you’d be angry if I were still the sa as before. I’m just taking whatever belongs to right now. What’s wrong about that? You wanted to retire and hand Qi Kai over to Qi Feng, didn’t you? I can’t stand having soone ordering around, so what’s wrong with trying out sothing new on my own?”
“You shouldn’t do that to Qi Kai! How much did you take away from Qi Kai? Qi Lei, you’re trying to destroy us, aren’t you?” Qi Qiming clenched his fist and said coldly.
“How should I treat Qi Kai then? I’m just taking what rightfully belongs to . The connections are mine, and so are the resources. Those old employees willingly followed too. I think I’m nice enough to not go against Qi Kai for now. What else do you think I should do?” Qi Lei’s voice suddenly turned stern!
