Kayden had never felt this in his life before. He couldn’t sense anything around him; his sixth sense could not extend even a single centiter outside his body. There was simply nothing surrounding him—actually, there was a pressure, sothing trying to destroy his body.

"Chaos," Kayden said, and no sound ca out.

It was the law of chaos in its purest form. He could feel he was in the sa environnt as that garden, but in a completely different way. There was no way to describe it; Kayden was incapable of reasoning how this place functioned. The only thing he knew was that he was being killed.

He could feel his body slowly being destroyed, his soul bleeding and devoured at the edges. Yet at the sa ti, he could feel that he was... being born. Kayden felt the sa way he had when he reincarnated. It was a strange sensation.

Each breath shattered before it could even reach his lungs, while ti twisted into irregular spirals that crushed his perception. Space was not empty but a dense, viscous mass swallowing him relentlessly, corroding every fragnt of his existence. His soul stretched and contracted in chaotic pulses, pulled toward infinite directions at once. His very consciousness seed to dissolve, fragnting into countless shards that would never reunite.

Kayden was experiencing sothing he had only felt a few tis in his life. He seed drunk—nothing made sense. Even his mories were a ss, his emotions scrambled. At tis, he felt like a woman, at others an old man, then a child, then a being without sex or consciousness.

He was everything, and at the sa ti, he was nothing. Kayden tried to focus. His mind was in complete chaos, but... a scepter appeared in his hands, and a crown descended onto his head. His monarch’s path was established in an endless struggle against forces Kayden could not comprehend.

It was madness, it was insanity, but his path was there. Kayden was fighting against sothing he had no idea about, yet little by little, his way was taking shape. The good old pain was present at every mont, his soul being torn into dozens of pieces.

Kayden could feel that if he stopped resisting, if he let his path be dominated, he could simply watch and exist in that place. That would stop his soul from being destroyed piece by piece. It was a choice he had to make, and... submission would never take him to the top of this universe.

With every instant his soul broke, he felt his talent being destroyed, his mind damaged. He could feel himself dying little by little—all to maintain his path. But... with each second that passed, with every mont he endured in that battle, Kayden learned sothing. His mind grew weaker, but his potential tripled.

He was close to learning sothing. There was sothing in that environnt. If he managed to survive with his path intact... sothing new would appear, sothing completely different from everything he had ever learned. His path was strengthening with every mont. The pressure on his body was impossible to break, but his path was gaining a certain resistance.

The monarch’s path grew trillions of years in seconds, all of it in exchange for fragnts of Kayden’s soul. Little by little, he was dying, little by little, he was being broken. But the progress was insane. The power, the strength he was acquiring, was bizarre.

A cloak appeared on his back, a black cloak full of patches and holes. A dreadful aura seeped from it. Kayden felt his path shatter for a second and then consolidate in a bizarre way, surpassing everything he had ever done before, transcending any level he had ever reached.

Sothing in the universe was released. In reality itself, sothing is molded. A new, unique law was taking form, sothing that had not existed even in the first days of creation, since the first being felt mana until this very mont. Nothing had ever been like this. It was sothing unique.

The law of the monarch of oneself.

Kayden’s law beca completely available to any mage who wished to learn it. It was open to every mage in the universe. It would stand out in every world and every place. Slowly, it would produce mages who fought with it alone, mages who would use it as their path, beings who would grow around this law.

If Kayden died today, this law would continue to exist, perpetuating his legacy. His law would persist through ti, through empires, through divine kings. It would not be erased in any way, because it was on the sa level as existence itself. It had been placed within existence. And what had Kayden done? In truth, it was very simple.

Kayden had consolidated his path into an eternal law, sothing that would never cease to exist under any hypothesis, sothing that would endure for all eternity. This was the necessary point for him to beco sothing beyond. At that mont, he set his first foot into the third divine level and... continued running with great strides.

He had no stop. His hunger for power was insatiable. The speed at which his soul was consud was terribly reduced as he grew in power. His strength grew so uncontrollably that his soul was less and less tornted. It was insane. It was a bizarre war of attrition, but... Kayden was dood to lose. He did not have the strength to deal with sothing so great. He didn’t have the capacity for it.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Kayden’s body hit the ground, expelling all the air from his lungs—not that he truly breathed. The force of his fall wasn’t even that strong, but the weight of his body, of his power, was insane. Kayden created a crater thousands of kiloters wide and... did not move.

His mind was in complete disarray. He could not rise. Kayden was at the weakest point of his entire life. Fortunately, he had fallen in a place where this wouldn’t be a problem. There were no gods or mortals where he was—there was practically nothing but this ground.
