The hospital room, despite its sterile environnt, held a palpable tension, a sense of unease that lingered in the air. Areum, her body aching, her mind still reeling from the attack, lay in the bed, her gaze fixed on the door. She was not really expecting anyone to co. The only person who would be concerned was haloni and Areum did not want her to see her like this, she could get a heart attack.

She did not want to accept it, but she wished that Flynn would co by. But she knew better than to hold her breath, not after she had hurt his feelings. Not after she had rejected him, at the conference and after the kiss, there were more chances of the angel who had saved her from the accident appearing in her room than Flynn could.

As if listening to her thoughts, the door swung open, and Flynn rushed in, his face etched with panic, his eyes wide with fear. He looked around the room, his gaze landing on Areum, his expression shifting from panic to relief.

"Areum!" he exclaid, his voice laced with concern. "Are you alright?"

He rushed to her bedside, his eyes scanning her bandaged body, his expression filled with worry. Areum, despite her pain, could not help but smile at his frantic concern.

"I’m fine, Flynn," she said, her voice weak but reassuring. "Just a few bruises. I fainted, that’s all."

"Fainted?" Flynn repeated, his voice laced with disbelief. "They attacked you, Areum! You were hospitalized!"

"I know," Areum said, her voice laced with a hint of amusent. "But I am tougher than I look. Besides, it was just a little hit, and then I blacked out."

She glanced around the room, her smile fading. "It’s strange," she said, her voice thoughtful. "Usually, my room would be overflowing with flowers. But I guess I have lost my star status, I’m a civilian now."

Flynn’s gaze followed hers, landing on a large funeral wreath adorned with chrysanthemums. His brow furrowed, his eyes narrowing.

"Who brought those?" he asked, his voice sharp.

Areum laughed, a hollow, bitter sound. "Ma-ri," she said. "She said it was to signify the death of my career, I bet she enjoyed that."

"You know, I am surprised to see you here." Areum added after a beat.

"I am your husband." Flynn said with raised eyebrows, "why would I not be by your side when you need ?"

Areum looked blankly at him, her silence speaking volus.

Flynn looked away from her, back to the offensive wreath and his jaw tightened, his eyes flashing with anger. He reached for the wreath, his movents swift and decisive, and carried it out of the room, his expression grim.

"I will be right back," he said, his voice laced with a hint of steel.

He returned a few monts later, his expression calr, but his eyes still burning with anger. "I want to talk to the doctor," he said, his voice firm. "I need to know exactly what happened to you and how you are faring."

He turned to leave, but paused at the door, his gaze lingering on Areum. "I will be back soon," he said, his voice gentle. "Don’t worry."

He left the room, leaving Areum alone with her thoughts. She watched the door close behind him, her mind filled with a mixture of gratitude and unease. She was grateful for his concern, for his unwavering support. She felt a little suspicious about his motives, she had been an to him so why was he here for her when he did not have to?

Flynn, his mind racing, his anger simring, stord down the hospital corridor, his jaw clenched, his eyes blazing with a fury that could have ignited the sterile walls.

He rounded a corner, his movents swift and decisive, and grabbed the first doctor he encountered, a young resident with wide, startled eyes.

"Why," Flynn demanded, his voice a low, nacing growl, "is Noelle in a basic room?"

The resident, his face paling, stamred, "I... I don’t know, sir. It was assigned by..."

"Assigned by who?" Flynn interrupted, his grip tightening on the resident’s arm. "She should be in a VIP suite! Imdiately!"

His voice echoed through the corridor, drawing the attention of nurses, patients, and other doctors. The resident, his eyes darting around nervously, tried to pull away, but Flynn’s grip remained firm.

"Sir, I... It’s not my duty to..." he stamred, his voice trembling.

"I don’t care what are your tasks and duties" Flynn said, his voice laced with a cold, hard determination. "Noelle is a star and she deserves the best. And if she doesn’t get it, heads will roll."

He released the resident’s arm, the young doctor stumbling back, his face ashen. Flynn turned, his gaze sweeping across the gathering crowd, his expression a mixture of anger and contempt.

"I want to speak to the hospital administrator," he announced, his voice ringing through the corridor. "Now!"

A nurse, her expression flustered, stepped forward. "Sir, please," she said, her voice trembling. "There is no need for this..."

"There’s every need for this," Flynn retorted, his voice sharp. "Noelle was attacked. She is a public figure. She deserves the utmost care and protection. And that includes a VIP suite."

He paused, his gaze sweeping across the faces of the onlookers. "If this hospital can’t provide that," he said, his voice laced with a hint of nace, "then I will find one that can."

He turned and strode down the corridor, his footsteps echoing through the building, his presence commanding the attention of everyone he passed. He was a force of nature, a whirlwind of anger and determination, and he wouldn’t stop until he got what he wanted.

The hospital administrator, alerted by the commotion, rushed to et Flynn, his face pale, his eyes wide with apprehension. He tried to placate Flynn, to explain the hospital’s policies, but Flynn wouldn’t listen. He demanded action, imdiate action, and he was not willing to accept any excuses.
