The air in the gym, previously charged with a simring tension, crackled with a newfound intensity. Noelle, her eyes blazing, her face flushed with anger, turned to Flynn, her voice sharp and accusatory.

She had waited for Flynn to co back to the room after he had found the gym but after too much ti had elapsed, she had a sneaking suspicion that sothing had happened. She had gone down to the gym, feeling more suspicious when she did not find him there.

Then he appeared, with Ma-Ri in tow. If she could, she would have vomited fire at the both of them. To make matters worse, Ma-Ri started to touch him like he was her own husband. It had taken all of Noelle’s willpower not to gouge out Ma-Ri’s eyes, and that silly Flynn had just stood there like a mannequin, didn’t he know he was supposed to tell her to stop?

"What," she demanded, her voice laced with a cold fury, "was that supposed to be?"

Flynn, his expression calm and composed, raised an eyebrow, feigning innocence. "What was what supposed to be?" he asked, his voice laced with a polite curiosity.

Noelle gestured sharply towards the empty doorway, her eyes flashing with anger. "You and Ma-Ri," she spat, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "The... friendly walk that she wants a repeat of?"

Flynn’s lips curled into a faint smile. "Ah," he said, his voice laced with understanding. "You an our cousinly interaction?"

Noelle’s eyes narrowed. "Cousinly?" she echoed, her voice laced with disbelief. "Is that what you want to call it?"

"Well, yes," Flynn said, his voice laced with a disarming innocence. "Ma-Ri is your cousin, which makes her my cousin-in-law. We are practically family."

"Don’t play coy with ," Noelle hissed, her voice low and dangerous. "I saw the way she was looking at you and making excuses to touch you and laugh, nobody is that funny. And I saw the way you were... responding to her."

Flynn chuckled, a low, amused sound. "Responding?" he echoed, his eyes twinkling. "I was rely being polite. She helped find the gym, you know. Your directions were... less than precise."

"That is not the point," Noelle retorted, her voice sharp. "The point is, I don’t trust her. And I don’t trust you with her."

She stepped closer to Flynn, her eyes fixed on his, her expression a mask of cold determination. "Listen to and listen carefully," she said, her voice low and nacing. "If you betray with Ma-Ri, if you even think about betraying with her, I will make your life a living hell. I will make you wish you had never t ."

She paused, her eyes flashing with a dark intensity. "Do you understand ?" she asked, her voice laced with a chilling finality.

Flynn, his expression calm and composed, t her gaze, his eyes unwavering. "Perfectly, wife." he said, his voice laced with a quiet amusent.

Noelle, her anger still simring, turned on her heel and stord out of the gym, leaving Flynn alone amidst the gleaming exercise equipnt. He watched her go, his lips curling into a wide, amused grin.

He chuckled softly, shaking his head. "She is jealous," he murmured to himself, his voice laced with a playful delight. "She is actually jealous."

He could not help but be amused by her reaction. He would never have guessed that Noelle could be that possessive, from what he had seen, she valued her independence, he had definitely not expected her to be so... territorial.

He knew that she did not trust him, she did not even know him and she probably suspected him of having ulterior motives. But he also knew that she was starting to care for him, to feel sothing more than just a business arrangent. She could deny it as much as she wanted, he knew what he saw.

He had seen the flicker of jealousy in her eyes, the flash of anger in her expression. He had felt the intensity of her warning, the unspoken fear of his betrayal.

He knew that he had to be careful, that he had to tread lightly. He could not afford to give her any reason to doubt him, any reason to suspect him of disloyalty, he wanted her to know that he was trustworthy.

He also knew that he had to be patient, that he had to play his cards carefully. Noelle was a proud woman, he could not rush her, could not force her to accept her feelings or else it could end disastrously. He had to let her co to him, to realize that he was the only one for her.

He smiled, his eyes filled with a quiet confidence. He knew that he could win her trust, that he could make her fall in love with him. He had seen the spark in her eyes, the hint of vulnerability beneath her tough exterior.

He knew that she was worth the wait, worth the effort. He was going to make her his. He had imdiately known that Ma-Ri wanted sothing, it was unfortunate for her as He only had eyes for his wife. But since she brought out the jealousy in Noelle, then she might be useful to him. However, if she crossed the line he would push her right back.

He turned his attention to the gym equipnt, his mind already formulating a plan. He would set up a workout routine for Noelle, a regin that would not only aid her physical recovery but also strengthen their bond.

He would use this opportunity to spend more ti with her, to get to know her better, to show her that he was worthy of her trust. He would show her that he was the man she was ant to be with.

He had spent too long looking for her, and now that he had found her he was not willing to just let her go. She was the only one who had his heart and he would do anything to make her his queen.
