"Are you sure you don’t want to accompany you anymore? I can tell you more of these interesting stories," Ed asked with a playful smile, standing at the door of Jenny’s shop.
"No, thank you. If you continue to be a third wheel between us, believe , I will definitely beat you to death," Sigurd moved his face closer to Ed’s ear and whispered, making sure Jenny couldn’t hear.
"Well, if you don’t mind, then sure, you can stay with us as long as you want. Consider this your own house," Jenny said with a smile, ignoring Sigurd’s obvious hint.
"Although I’d like to, I’m afraid Sigurd will torture to death on the ship later if I continue to ss up your precious ti together. So, sister-in-law, it seems our ti ends here. I’m honoured to et you and to know my idiot brother is being taken care of by soone we can all feel relieved about," Ed gave Jenny a light hug and said with a smile.
Honestly, he really liked Jenny, who not only knew how to care for everyone’s feelings but was also very knowledgeable about dicine and could cook wonderful food, on the sa professional level as Aunt Marcy and Raila.
"Hehehe, if Sigurd really troubles you, you can tell , and I will surely take care of him," Jenny said playfully, shaking her fist.
"Alright, that’s enough chit-chat, Ed. You better head back; it’s already getting late," Sigurd said impatiently while handing Ed all his bags.
"Tsk. Okay, I’ll be leaving then," Then he smiled even more widely and added, "I wish you both a good night."
After saying this, he carried the nurous bags, hoisted his backpack and various goods onto his shoulders, pushed open the door, and walked out. As he left, they heard him say, "I hope Aunt Marcy doesn’t have a grandchild too soon, at least not before you tell her about yourself."
Jenny covered her mouth with a smile when she heard this. Looking at the sowhat embarrassed Sigurd, she put her arm around his shoulder, pulled his face closer to her breasts, and said with a chuckle, "My sweet brother-in-law is really interesting. You should do your best, and I also think it’s ti you talked to your mother about !"
Sigurd’s face turned even redder from both shyness and embarrassnt. However, before he could say anything, the shop door opened again and Ed walked in, shalessly witnessing their bold behaviour. He apologized to Jenny, whose face had now also turned red, and she hurriedly let go of Sigurd.
"Sorry to disturb your playful mont, sister-in-law, but I have to borrow Sigurd for a minute. I still need to buy a few minor things and wanted to ask him their location. Well, while I’m talking with Sigurd, why don’t you close up the shop and make plans for where to go on your date? Let tell you, Sigurd and I went treasure hunting yesterday and made a small fortune."
"This guy’s pockets are very hot right now, it’s a good ti to empty them before we go back tomorrow. Otherwise, what if he has too much money and, without your supervision, picks up bad habits on our island?" After saying that, Ed hurriedly pulled Sigurd out of the shop, not giving the poor guy a chance to explain anything, and left Jenny behind, who felt that Ed’s words made a lot of sense and fell into deep thought while hurriedly tidying up the shop.
"You bastard, why did you say that? We just got one gun each; what kind of treasure is that? Don’t you know I can’t refuse Jenny any request? I only have one silver snake and fifty copper swallows left after all that shopping! Any place I decide to take her on a date isn’t going to leave with anything except a few copper swallows. What if she asks for sothing? What am I going to do...?"
"So noisy. What are you complaining about for such a minor matter? Here, take these and buy sister-in-law a nice gift. Don’t try to be stingy; I’m going to ask her about it. If I find even a single copper swallow in your pocket tomorrow morning, I will tell Aunt Marcy everything about her," Ed interrupted Sigurd’s whining and put three silver snakes in his hand while threatening him with a serious expression. He continued, "Now listen to carefully. I’m going to ask you a few questions, and you are going to answer honestly. Otherwise, you know what I’ll say next."
Ed pulled Sigurd a bit further from the shop, under a tree where Jenny couldn’t hear their conversation, and spoke.
"Alright, I’m all ears," Sigurd said, after skillfully putting the money away, becoming an honest and serious guy, and nodding.
"First question: Have you ever visited any Love House?" Ed directly dropped the bomb, which made Sigurd, whose acting skills were in the negatives, turn red and hurriedly shake his head, though his eyes told a completely different story.
"Good, good. It ans you’re not as innocent as I thought. Now, before you refuse , let get to the point. Look, as you know, I’m a rich guy and officially beca an adult two years ago, right?" Ed asked while patting Sigurd on the shoulder, who nodded confusedly.
"Then, as you might know, rich virgin people have certain demands which we single guys can’t satisfy, unlike a super lucky guy like you, who I know very well what he’s going to do tonight. So, tell which Love House has the best reputation and provides the most satisfying services."
Hearing all this from Ed, Sigurd looked at him as if he were eting him for the first ti and wanted to offer so unwanted advice as a good elder brother. However, when he saw Ed point at Jenny’s shop and make a not-so-comfortable gesture, he gulped down his words and fell into deep thought.
Ed didn’t disturb the big boy and waited patiently. As for why he would even ask Sigurd such a thing, who could use it against him later if his and Raila’s relationship ca to light, it was because of his past-life knowledge. He had read many unsavory articles about dieval brothels, and many of the facts were so alarming that no matter how horny a man was, he would think twice before entering.
However, after his observation, he had co to the conclusion that most of what he knew about brothels from his past-life mories was nonsense and didn’t apply in this world. Still, he decided to ask soone with experience first.
And Sigurd, this honest guy, although he looked like a nerd, had been coming here for many years and walking past the doors of those Love Houses; there was no way he could have remained pure, unless he had so physical problem.
"Damn. Never speak of this to Jenny. Sigh, I’m going to regret this. Seven streets away from the place we’re staying, you’ll find a Love House called the rmaid’s Embrace. They’re a bit expensive, but it’s the best Love House you’ll find on this island. Alright, that’s enough; I’m going," After saying that, Sigurd, as if he’d seen a ghost, hurriedly ran away, walked into the shop, and this ti didn’t forget to lock the door, fearing that Ed might get in and drag him out for another weird request.
rmaid’s Embrace, huh? Tonight is going to be very colourful, Ed thought, licking his lips as he walked toward his belongings. After confirming no one was around, he stored everything in his Inventory and walked away.
